Britney and her co-judge Demi Lovato have just started judging on “X Factor” last Thursday and halfway through the auditions, Hollywood gossip has already tried to stir some rumors against one of them.

TMZ claimed that Britney angrily walked off the set to take a “short break” right after someone used her hit “Hold It Against Me” during the audition and “butchered” it.

Britney rushed to deny the report on her Twitter:

“#Britneywalksoff??? LOL was just taking a little break people.”

She added:

“I am having the BEST time!!!”

Still, reports say that she was on her “little break” while four more contestants auditioned for the remaining three judges who were left on the set.

Maybe nature called?

The day has finally come for the two singers—who both sport matching blonde hair—to start their new jobs as “X Factor” judges alongside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.

Britney looked sexy in a figure-hugging hot pink dress with a sheer panel on the bodice while Demi went for a more youthful look with a bright, printed dress and a black leather jacket.

Apparently, Howard Stern isn’t the only one who thinks Britney Spears, whom he called a “train wreck,” might not be the best choice to judge a singing competition. But how can anyone criticize Demi (who recently signed on as an “X Factor” judge alongside Britney, Simon Cowell, and L.A. Reid) and her singing abilities? Sure, the girl has some problems—she went to rehab at the age of 18, after all—and is probably too young for the job, but still… she has a very powerful voice!

Nonetheless, when John Legend was interviewed at a red carpet event in NYC, the Grammy winning singer took a jab at both girls’ vocal talents. When asked if  he had anything to say about the girls’ appointment as judges on “X Factor,” John said:

“It should be very interesting. I don’t have much to say. It’s interesting when people that, you know, are judging singing competitions when they aren’t really singers.”

Burn!

Other singers who were interviewed, however, had nothing but praises for the new “X Factor” judges.

Kelly Clarkson said:

“I’m excited for both of them, I’m a big fan of both of them… I think those two are two girls you really want to root for… I think it’ll be good for [the show].”

Meanwhile, Robin Thicke also offered his opinion:

“Everything Britney does she excels at, Demi is a lovely young lady, [and] I’m sure they’ll do nothing but make the show a lot more fun to watch.”

JLo fears that newbie “X Factor” judges Britney and Demi will initially have quite a hard time on the show, just like she had during her first few months as a female judge on “Idol” alongside Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

Jennifer admits to ET Online:

“I feel a little scared for [Britney and Demi] ’cause I was scared when I started.”

However, the veteran pop star is still confident that the younger pop stars can manage the pressure:

“It’s live TV – there’s a lot of pressure that goes with it – but I think they’ll do great. They’ve both been in the spotlight since they were very young, so they’ll be fine.”

So what advice does JLo have for the two former Disney child stars? She continues:

“Just be yourself. I think it’s just about really being your true self, not trying to be something that you’re not.”

Howard who?

Radio personality Howard Stern was quick to comment on Britney Spears‘ upcoming judging stint on “X Factor,” which she finally signed on for more than $15 million dollars thanks to the very determined Simon Cowell.

And what does Stern think of pop star as the new judge of Simon‘s show?

The soon-to-be replacement judge for “America’s Got Talent” said during a press conference last night:

“Well, I think it’s a wonderful decision, you know, Britney still thinks the earth is flat.”

He explained:

“I think we’re going to tune in to see… if she can sort of function through this thing, right? As far as any real criticism, I think that Simon [Cowell] and L.A. Reid will be doing that.”

The self-confessed “King of all Media” even name-dropped the female ”American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez during his blast:

“I think Britney’s going to stand there and eat a lollypop and you know, wear a sexy outfit. I don’t anticipate great opinions from her. I think she’s going to sit there like J.Lo and ‘Oh, do you think I can get a perfume endorsement out of this?’”

Stern concluded:

“I’ll tune in to see what kind of train wreck she is, absolutely.”

Double ouch!

Not only would this insult Britney and JLo but also Simon‘s ability to select a deserving judge.

Simon Cowell must be jumping for joy!

Britney, who has been Simon Cowell‘s top pick to become the new “X Factor” judge, has finally said yes to a pool of money in exchange for replacing one judge slot that previous cast offs Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger had vacated on the show.

Considering that Britney can’t decide career moves like such on her own, her new conservator and fiance Jason Trawick and her dad Jamie Spears finally agreed for her to join Simon and L.A. Reid as an official judge on the show, as did her overlooking judges.

A source close to Britney tells E! News:

“The contract is signed. There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on. It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited.”

The insider continues:

“She’s ready for this. She can’t wait to sit down next to Simon at the judges’ table and give this everything she’s got. She is excited about showing the world that she can do this, and do this well. This is the perfect next stage in her career. Both Britney and Simon are very excited to work together.”

No definite figure was mentioned regarding just how much the pop star will be getting in exchange for doing the show.

After dissing Christina Aguilera and calling her a “total b*tch” last week, The Wanted has now set their sights on another female pop icon… Britney Spears.

During a celebrity news interview with NYC radio station Fresh 102.7, the “Glad You Came” group, who opened for Britney during her recent tour, revealed some backstage secrets that made her out to be a total diva.

Tom Parker said:

“We signed a confidentiality thing that we should never say anything about what happened, but let’s tell it anyway.”

His bandmate Siva Kaneswaran then explained:

“I was in the hallway with my tour manager. Basically we were looking with a laptop, trying to get WiFi … facing the middle of the hallway. [Britney's] bouncers came down with her and told us to face the wall.”

Parker added:

“As Miss Spears is walking through, we’re like, ‘come on!’”

Kaneswaran continued:

“We turned around and I faced a wall for about 10 seconds until she got really far away.”

It’s pretty hard to believe that Britney would allow such rude treatment of her tour guests, especially after knowing that Joe Jonas and DJ Pauly D, who both joined her on her tour, were treated very well during their time with Brit—she gave both of them lap dances on stage!

Still, despite the wall-facing incident, the group admitted that Britney was actually a very lovely person. Jay McGuinness shared:

“Honestly when we actually met her person to person, she was so down to earth. You can tell she’s a total southern girl and Nathan, when he was a kid, won a singing competition. She was one of the judges or something. And she gave him a kiss, it was one of his first kisses as a kid. So he got to meet her again and support her.”

Though there seems to be no beef between Brit and The Wanted, the “Criminal” singer’s camp said in a statement:

“What’s even more interesting than the false allegations they made up is the fact that they have claimed to be picked on by two female pop stars in just a few days. Look out Lady Gaga–there are still three days left this week.”

Despite recent celebrity news that Jason Trawick will have to be married to Britney Spears first before having legal power over her, the petition for the singer’s fiance to become her co-conservator has been granted.

Trawick now joins her dad and original conservator, Jamie Spears, in overseeing her career decisions, including the $15 million “X Factor” deal that she’s about to sign off.

TMZ reports:

“Britney Spears‘ fiance Jason Trawick is officially the singer’s newest conservator — the judge in her conservatorship case just signed off on giving him legal power to govern Britney‘s affairs.”

Trawick is reportedly “thrilled” about the decision.

Britney Spears may finally give “X Factor” and Simon Cowell by joining the show and bagging $15 million in return—a big increase from her $10 million offer just early last month.

That is, once the draft of the deal is finalized and is signed by her dad and conservator Jamie Spears, her conservatorship lawyers and judge. Of course Jason Trawick, her soon-to-be husband and conservator, is reportedly involved in overlooking the deal as well.

TMZ reports:

“We’re told Britney‘s team and ‘X Factor’ big wigs are working out ‘the fine points’ of the deal, but the major terms are locked.”

If proven to be true, Britney will be filling one of the two judge vacancies and is raking way more than previously fired judges Nicole Scherzinger who reportedly signed for $1.5 million and Paula Abdul who got $2.5 million.

Whoa.

Over a month after Britney announced her engagement to Jason Trawick, it was reported that Jamie Spears—Britney’s dad—was planning to end her conservatorship as a wedding gift. However, according to the latest reports Papa Spears is actually petitioning to add another conservator for Britney—her new fiancé.

TMZ reports:

“Brit‘s conservators will be filing a petition later today to add Jason as a co-conservator … a move that makes total sense considering the two are all set to be married some time in the near future.”

Jason will reportedly have legal control over Britney in all aspects of her life—apart from her finances, of course.

That sounds… scary.

Don’t remember that epic moment? Here’s a refresher:

Years before Katy Perry shot to stardom by kissing a girl and liking it, Madonna and Britney shocked the world by delivering one of the hottest onstage kisses ever seen.

And now, almost 10 years later, the pop superstars are considering doing it again.

It all started when Spears went on Twitter to congratulate Madonna on her new album, MDNA. She wrote:

“@MadonnaMDNAday love the new album – every single song is incredible. congrats girl!”

To which Madonna tweeted back:

“@britneyspears please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!”

The “Criminal” singer coyly replied:

“@MadonnaMDNAday Tempting…”

Madonna then asked:

“@britneyspears Are you gonna make me work for this?”

And Britney said:

“@MadonnaMDNAday Why of course!”

So is this happening or what? Sure, it might not be as hot this time around, but it would still be awesome!

Evanna Lynch tells the world (and Hollywood producers) that she’d love to play Britney Spears in a biopic, if there was ever going to be one. The blond beauty, who rose to fame after playing the eccentric Luna Lovegood in the last few “Harry Potter” installments, claims that she relates to the pop star legend so it shouldn’t be too difficult for her to channel Spears.

Although it’s a big genre leap from her role as a witch, she believes she can pull it off, as she says:

“People laugh when I say this but I would love to play Britney Spears in a movie. She’s complicated and I just relate to her. There are so many pop stars out there at the moment and I just think they’ve just got their image thing so planned to a T.”`

According to her, there are many other “complicated” pop stars that would be a challenge to portray, but she’d really rather portray Britney.

Evanna continued:

“Say, Lady Gaga, I like her and I like her music but I don’t relate to her because she has this image and she’s weird and perfect, whereas Britney is rich and cool and beautiful, but has also shown her vulnerable side and had a breakdown in front of the whole world. That takes strength and bravery to do that. I just think she’s more complicated than people think. Also, I think career wise it would be a big departure from Luna. And I love dance!”

We don’t doubt that she would make an adorable younger Britney, but we’ve never heard Evanna sing for real or ditch her British accent. Plus we’d hate to see that young girl dirty dance like a “slave”…

How exciting!

Ever since Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were fired from the singing competition show, entertainment news has been coming out with stories about who will replace them.

First it was reported that Beyonce, who recently gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, was offered a whopping $100 million to take on the job (which Simon Cowell later denied), and now reports tell us that Spears is in talks to join the show.

While nothing has been confirmed, Cowell has said that “X Factor” would be “flattered” to have Spears.

Gaga may have an unwavering obsession for Madonna, but the latter does not seem to return the love. In fact, it seems every interview she’s ever had, she’s always dissing Gaga!

When asked about what she thought of Gaga in her recent interview with The Advocate, Madonna replied coolly:

“I have no thoughts.”

Then, when asked to comment about Lady Gaga’s influence on today’s gay youth, Madonna responded:

“It seems genuine… It seems natural, and I can see why she has a young gay following. I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm. I mean, she’s not Britney Spears. She’s not built like a brick sh-thouse.”

She added:

“[Gaga] seems to have had a challenging upbringing, and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men.”

Sorry, Gaga… Madonna just can’t seem to bring herself to return the love you have for her!

Oh, yep. We get it. From one master to another.

Still, Jamie Spears feels his once cuckoo kid has finally regained control of her senses, so he’s planning to rescind control of her finances and place them in her hands when she finally says “I do” to fiance Jason Trawick in the very near future (sources say Valentine’s Day on Maui). Which basically means that Britney‘s set to get her life back when she gets married…only, wait…that life will essentially be in Jason Trawick‘s hands…

Earlier on in 2007, when Britney was busy shaving her head, speaking in a British accent, bashing paparazzi vehicles with an umbrella, and taking her clothes off when the mood suited her, Jamie finally put his foot down and sued for conservatorship when Britney was court-ordered to receive psychiatric treatment after losing custody of her sons.

Four years on, Britney seems to have gotten control over her trainwreck of a life, and even gotten both her sons back. Now she’s about to become a married woman for the third time, Jamie‘s planning to petition the court to halt the conservatorship so Brit-Brit will be a free woman in every sense when she marries.

Er…until she marries, that is.

So how short a freedom is that likely to be?

Federline, 33, was brought to a Sydney, Australia hospital for tests after the 232 lb. former backup dancer, rapper and Britney spouse complained of chest pains and a racing pulse in the middle of a challenge with an AFL team at Doonside, New South Wales. Federline was reportedly given oxygen and treated by on-set paramedics before he was transferred to a hospital.

This marks the the second time the father of five has been hospitalized during filming for the series, the first having been heat stress during a show challenge in the Northern Territory last November.

In 2010, Federline lost 30 lbs. as a contestant on US TV’s “Celebrity Fit Club” in an effort to shed the 85 lbs. he gained following his 2006 divorce from Spears.

Poor Kevin. Looks like being torn away from his main meal ticket has caused him to balloon to something resembling a beached whale. Let’s hope Britney doesn’t decide to split from current fiance, Jason Trawick, too, or we’ll have another statistic to add to the country’s obesity epidemic.

Brit‘s former minder, Fernando Flores, who filed a lawsuit against the pop princess two years ago for alleged sexual harassment, has signified his intention to write a revealing tome about how Brit-Brit used to hold orgies and hot tub shenanigans while on tour all those years ago. And we’re thinking he’s maybe shopping for a ghost writer since he still hasn’t a single manuscript to present on Britney Spears‘ past meltdown…

According to star news, Flores has signed a $1 million deal with a publication company who wants to buy the rights to his soon-to-be-written book about the secrets behind the “Womanizer” singer’s wild tour parties.

“Britney has a huge sexual appetite and from what she told me, her tours were an anything goes environment.”

Flores told The Sun.

“I heard stories of threesomes, orgies, girls making out – things that would make your hair stand on end.”

Oh…he heard!

Does this mean Flores’ book will be all about hearsay from other sources?

“She had a lot of young, attractive dancers around her on tour, and things would get crazy. There was drinking, drugs, steamy sessions in hot tubs, all sorts of things.”

Flores continued.

“I was in her bathroom and saw this picture of her in a tub with some girls. It was very sexual. She told me, ‘That was on tour and s**t got crazy.’ I asked what she meant and she said they all got it on. Her and the girls.”

First off, what would a bodyguard be doing in his clients’ bathroom, of all places? Playing peeping Tom?

So while the world half-heartedly awaits Fernando Flores’ tell-all tome, the Britney of today would shock you as being a far cry from the train wreck she used to be.

She’s changed her wild ways, and on her recent “Femme Fatale” tour was reported to have banned junk food and alcohol from being in her presence.

And Fernando Flores? Maybe he just needs the money…

Brit-Brit posted an adorable video of her older son on YouTube showing him shaking what his momma gave him. Or should we say, his daddy? Because it looks like daddy Kevin passed down quite a lot of groovin’ talent to his progeny  if Sean Preston’s shimmying to “Shake Your Groove Thing” is any indication…

The video of Sean is simply so cute, it’s fast becoming a viral sensation online, if the 260,000-plus views in less than a day can prove it. And the boy shows a whole lot of potential, too. We won’t be surprised if we see him in Britney‘s line-up of backup dancers in one of her tours a few years from now.

Fans have been debating over the photo taken of the singer on her “Femme Fatale” mega-tour featured on V Magazine, and they’re claiming some art editor has taken a lot of sacrilegious liberties on their idol.

Sure, Brit-Brit has improved a great deal body-wise compared to a couple of years ago when she was in the midst of her meltdown, and pouring Cheetos and a cocktail of alcoholic drinks down her craw.

Since her conservatorship, she’s been working out really hard, and trying her best to stick to her diet, and while she looks healthy and fit enough, fans are up in arms at how suddenly svelte she is in the V Magazine photo above…

“Photoshopped a dillion!”

An outraged fan complained on a Daily Mail commentary of Britney‘s new lean look.

“That’s her head on someone else’s body,”

another continued.

“Even Ray Charles can see the terrible ‘Cut and Paste’ job that was done on Britney.”

Or maybe, as the tabloid surmises, the future Mrs. Jason Trawick, who’s been known for her yo-yo dieting, is simply trying to lose as much weight as she can leading up to her wedding.
