Brittany Murphy’s autopsy results were revealed. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t an illegal drug overdose or a case of anorexia gone wrong, but rather a standard iron deficiency and bad case of pneumonia that wasn’t treated correctly.That and a bad mixture of medications (all legal) that only made matter worse.

Brittany Murphy’s husband is going to sue Warner Brothers. Simon Monjack has been talking to the media during the last several weeks and pointing the blame at Hollywood for killing his wife. Now, he is specifically pointing the finger at Warner Brothers and lawyering up.

Simon claims that Brittany was offered a role in Happy Feet 2, but then it was taken away after false drug rumors circulated. From TMZ:
Brittany Murphy was laid to rest at sunset. Brittany’s funeral was attended by just very close family and friends last night. The service was in the afternoon and Brittany was laid to rest just as the sun was setting in the cemetery.

There is still no official word on what caused Brittany’s death. Her family is devastated and hoping to find some closure with answers soon. From Popeater:

While we read in several sites that Bertolotti wasn’t invited to the funeral (how sad), he tells Eonline.com that he has opted not to attend the ceremony.
Brittany Murphy might have had an allergic reaction to medicine. That is sad news indeed if it’s true, because a reaction can be treated and avoided! Brittany had been complaining for 7 – 10 days of reaction symptoms, which is plenty of time to stop a medicine and figure out a treatment.
