Brooke arrived at a function in a pair of mom jeans, low heels, long sleeve shirt covered with a fake fur vest and a long red necklace to top it off.

Did you know Brooke started acting at a very young age? Her mom was so determined to make her a star from the time she’s five days old.

This is what Brooke’s mommy said when she was a 5-day infant,”She’s the most beautiful child and I’m going to help her with her career.”

Brooke told this month’s Health magazine (via usmagazine.com):

“I had the public and this pressure, and I wish I had just gotten it over with in the beginning, when it was sort of OK. I think I could have been much more in touch with myself. I think I wouldn’t have had issues with weight — I carried this protective 20 pounds [in college],” she says. “It was all connected. And to me, that’s a health regret.”

In the interview she also mentions that she feels younger now than she did when she first started out in show biz.

“The older I get, the younger I feel,” she says. “Growing up, I was always the kid, but I spoke like an adult and was in adult roles. I didn’t feel like a kid. The older I get, I actually feel younger! Which is good,” she goes on. “I always thought when you get older, you’ll want to slow down, but I want to do even more.”

As Brooke told to People.com:

“My mother Teri Shields has been diagnosed with dementia. For her safety, she has temporarily been in a senior living facility, a very difficult decision for me,” she says. “Late Thursday afternoon, I was alerted by Old Tappan Police that my mother had been signed out of the facility by two reporters of the National Enquirer … who falsely claimed they were friends of hers.”  She adds: “They then drove my 75-year-old mother around looking for a tabloid story. As anyone knows who has a parent who suffers from dementia or Alzheimer’s, it is one of the most difficult experiences you can go through as a son or daughter. The idea that the National Enquirer took advantage of her state is reprehensible and disgusting.”

Wait, wait. Is this about that whole stupid Kiefer Sutherland head butt fiasco? C’mon—what are they trying to unearth? That Brooke and Kiefer have a secret love affair?

Kiefer was charged with misdemeanor assault on Friday. On June 22nd he’ll officially meet his fate in court.

This arrest is from the headbutt over the weekend at the MET 2009 Costume Gala. The only details released are that Kiefer headbutted a designer and it was supposedly over Brooke Shields. From The Telegraph:

A spokeswoman for New York Police Department said that Sutherland was subsequently charged with misdemeanour assault.

The 42-year-old actor is currently on probation over a drink drive conviction in California.

Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney, said prosecutors were checking with New York investigators to see if the latest incident puts him in violation of his probation.

Kiefer and the 24 crew wouldn’t be happy if his parole is violated. That would mean another stint in jail and filming for his series 24 would have to halt again. Should Kiefer be given a free pass here?

Kiefer has a hot head and an alcoholic background. Was alcohol involved? Probably. From the Huffington Post:

While guests like Mary-Kate Olsen, and Kirsten Dunst looked on, the actor apparently was upset over Brooke Shields.

OOOOOkay…Brooke is married to someone else. Designer Jack is gay. Kiefer is…..confused? The troubled star Kiefer has yet to make a statement to even refute the fight claims, so you know they are true!  Brooke has not come forward either, so what is going on?  Is there a three ring circus love triangle or what? Everyone will be looking for Jack to see if he truly has a broken nose this week.

Tom and Matt actually had a good interview.  The arm wrestling was just a promo shot.  Tom talked about Suri Cruise his movie Valkyrie, Suri and some other stuff. Did he even mention Katie Holmes?

“I hope she’s fine,” Shields, 41, tells TV’s Access Hollywood in an interview to air Monday. “I believe she’s going to be fine, and she just needs the support and her kids. She’s their only mom, and she’ll earn that back in her own mind.”

Shields, who suffered postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, says that if Spears – mom to Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months – is suffering from the condition as some have speculated, “then it really needs to be reckoned with, and it’s very common, and she’ll get through it.”

Shields, the mother of two daughters, Rowan, 3, and 10-month-old Grier, wrote the book Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression detailing her experience and how she overcame it.

“If [Britney] is reading my book,” Shields adds, “I hope it’s helping her. If it’s not, and she wants to talk to someone, I’m available.” 
Shields, who like Spears has been a public figure since she was a child, says the constant pressure of being in the media spotlight may have contributed to the singer’s trouble. “[She is] followed every moment of her life, and she’s documented every minute of her life.”
