Underwood was driving down an interstate highway between Oklahoma and Tennessee from her parents’ house when she came upon a limping and bloodied pooch by the roadside. The  country singer immediately stopped and carried the dog to her car away from other whizzing vehicles…

“I had Ace and Penny [her dogs] and a trunk full of luggage and presents in the SUV,”

Carrie wrote on her fan club website.

“My guess is that the dogs were thrown out of their car by their owners on the highway.”

Carrie took the injured dog under her wing for a time, named her Stella, and after an emergency trip to the vet, tried to find a permanent home for her little friend.

“She follows me around from room to room,”

Underwood gushed on the website.

“She’s the best Lab I’ve ever been around!”

Stella has since been adopted by neighbors from across the street.

“I cried when she walked out the door,”

Carrie wrote.

“[Husband Mike Fisher] told me not to be a crazy ex-girlfriend about it and stalk them…I can’t help it! She deserves the best life ever!”

Would self-proclaimed pet lovers, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, who always seem to have pooches around, do the same lifesaving deed, we wonder?

Now if only PETA could convince Carrie Underwood to pose naked in one of their ads, that would really make everyone’s day…

Yay or nay?

Carrie wore a strapless cream tulle dress with a ruffled skirt, which she paired with purple and light pink Ryan Haber heels, a Swarovski clutch, a sparkly silver cuff, and gorgeous silver drop earrings.

The country singer completed the look with a soft, wispy updo, glossy lips, dramatic lashes, and shimmery eye makeup.

We love Carrie’s hair and makeup, as well as her clutch and accessories. But we can’t say the same for the dress, or those weird-looking shoes. To be honest, the dress looks too prom-y and more suited for a teenager or something.

Also, those shoes just don’t go well with the dress. The chunky cuffs on her ankles are just too weird…

If she really had to wear this dress, she could’ve at least gone with delicate gold or nude strappy sandals, or maybe nude pumps.

Carrie’s hockey star husband who’s a Canadian native was traded from the Ottawa Senators to her hometown’s Nashville Predators that angered the Ottawa station big time!

The station, Kiss 105.3 called the move a “betrayal to our community” and charged that Mike “was lured away from Ottawa by a country-music superstar.”

Sigh.

“I heard about it right away and Carrie heard about it and she was extremely disappointed and frustrated,” Mike told the Vancouver Sun. “I think they meant it as a joke that really wasn’t funny.”

“I don’t know if it was for attention or not, but obviously Carrie had nothing to do with the move or the trade or anything so to imply something like that was just wrong,” said Fisher.

As for the move to Nashville? “To be honest, I was praying a few days before about it,” Mike added.

“I was just so frustrated and said ‘God, if you have me go somewhere take care of it, look after it,’ and he sure did that,” Fisher said.

And what about life in the country music capital Nashville?  “He put me in a place I was comfortable with and I think that’s part of reason that this is the place I’m supposed to be and that’s comforting for sure,” Mike said.

Surely the station isn’t serious as we Canadians don’t hold grudges. A lot of our talents have been lured away namely our young Justin Bieber.

Mike is a good man, he is a very devoted Christian. I like that. I too believe nothing is done right without God’s help.

Amen.

Mike and Carrie got married last July. The couple is expecting their first child this summer.

Carrie and Mike met in 2008 in one of her concerts and began dating. The couple married in July, 2010 and she had said she wanted to enjoy being married first before thinking about babies.

So this must be a good surprise!

And the country cutie looks super-sexy in her skimpy two-piece bikini!

Of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t also acknowledge the fine-looking specimen standing next to her as well.

And people wonder why celebrities don’t like to be followed around! They get photographed in their bikinis, without makeup and then the comments like this come out! Anyway, congratulations Mike and Carrie!

The newlyweds tells People magazine “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”

Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, was engaged to Underwood on Dec. 20, 2009, after quietly dating for about a year.

Usmagazine.com reports that both Carrie and Mike “couldn’t be happier.” They also lifted a quote from the liner notes of her most recent album where she gushes about her soon to be husband.

“Thank you #12,” she wrote, referring to his jersey number. “You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! His name is Mike Fisher and he plays for the Ottawa Senators.  He is 28 years old and is a hunk.  According to Just Jared:

Carrie watched the game from the VIP box with Fisher’s family, including his younger brother Bud. She was shown on the big Jumbotron screen’s “Hug Cam” throughout the game as she hugged the two people sitting next to her.

Interesting.  The popular girls all have to head to Canada to find good men.  Do you think they’ll go public anytime soon?

Maybe it’s because she has no talent.  TMZ says she wasn’t asked to present an award, she wasn’t asked to perform.  Heck, she wasn’t even nominated for best newcomer!  Ouch.

Oh, and there was the little deal with her boyfriend Tony Romo’s ex Carrie Underwood being the host.  Do you think Carrie banned her or Jess stayed away because of it?

Personally, I don’t think she got an invitation because she isn’t any good.  If her music was good, she would be welcomed as a crossover.  Kid Rock and Lil’ Wayne performed! Talk about crossovers.

Underwood tells TV Guide regarding the Presidential Election that “there is someone I do support, but I don’t support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It’s saying that the American public isn’t smart enough to make their own decisions, I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to. Music is where you go to get away from all the BS. Whether it’s from politics or just the world around you, music should be an escape.”

I don’t know what to think anymore and I am just glad that the election is OVER!
