Casey Johnson died from diabetes complications. Casey’s lifestyle didn’t lead her to taking very good care of herself, thus that is what took a toll on her body. Originally, it was thought – by her fiance Tila Tequila even – that prescription drugs killed her. Nope.

Tila declared she was right when the report was released, even though she wasn’t. A diabetic coma is what ultimately killed Casey. From E! Online:

Is anyone surprised by this? No. Those close to Casey had been saying it all along. And it appears Tila is milking this for more than she should. According to SAWF News:
Tila Tequila is fighting for custody of Casey Johnson’s adopted daughter, Ava. For some odd reason, Casey Johnson adopted a little girl from Kazakhstan a few years back. God knows why. Sure she had the money, but, uh. When things got hairy (i.e. druggy) for Casey, her mother Sale Johnson took the child.

Now that Tila Tequila is eating up all this free publicity from Casey‘s death, she’s turning her beady little goblin eyes to Ava.
Tila Tequila’s engagement to Casey Johnson might have been Joe Francis’ idea. It seems that Tila’s grief over losing Casey might be for multiple reasons, including her publicity tool. Joe is funding one of Tila’s websites that is launching soon and her engagement with Casey was a way they were maybe going to promote it.
