Jessica Biel wants to be like Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett. Jessica must have forgotten she posed for Playboy and they didn’t. Ooops! Oh well, if Jessica steps it up with her acting, she may have a chance to mimic the greats. Small, but there’s a chance.

More pictures of Jessica after the leap…

Jessica has done quite a range of roles in her short career. From TV to movies and now stage, it’s keeping her on her toes. From the LA Times:

Cate Blanchett will play Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood film. Earlier this year, we reported that Sienna Miller was fired from the movie because she made Russell Crowe, the romantic lead, look too fat and old in comparison. Well it seems Cate has swooped in and turned Sienna’s misfortune into another rockin’ movie role. Go Cate!

Cate Blanchett wins the role that was vacated by Sienna Miller in the Nottingham movie. The speculation wasn’t that Sienna left the movie because of scheduling conflicts – come on, what work is she really doing right now besides Balthazar Getty?  But she was actually fired.

More pictures after the rumors….

Sienna is still in an off again, on again relationship to the married, father of four Balthazar.  Some say her ways and her ‘diva’ is what got her kicked off the movie.  The role was then turned over to Cate Blanchett…who is very easy to work with.  From the Telegraph:

The winners for the 2008 Golden Globe Awards were announced last night at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. There were no stars, no Hollywood power players, no red carpet… Not with the Writer’s Guild strike still going strong. Winners will receive this year’s Globe awards by mail.

And the winners are…

Seriously I have never thought of Cate Blanchett as good looking, cute, sexy or anything of that sort. Ok perhaps she’s classy in a way. And watching her starring opposite Brad Pitt in Babel was an agony because I love Brad Pitt and thought they could have found him a better looking opposite perhaps his own, Angelina Jolie. Ok, ok, I am superficial. I am a celebrity blogger, duh!

Harrison Ford is back again as Indiana Jones for his latest film since 1989. Sure the dude is much older but heck he’s the man, Steven Speilberg as director & a Lucasfilm production, it will be good! Can’t wait!
