Entertainment news tells us that CHRISTINA AGUILERA will be returning to “The Voice” next season in place of current judge, SHAKIRA, who will be leaving after this season.
It was a sad day last year when Christina Aguilera and fellow departee Cee Lo Green had their last day as judges/coaches on “The Voice.” However, it wasn’t all bad, as their departure from the show made way for coaching favorites Shakira and Usher, whose palpable chemistry with original judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton has been praised by critics everywhere.
According to recent entertainment news, CEE LO GREEN returned on “The Voice” this week to perform with a former contestant (and 3rd season runner-up), JULIET SIMMS.
Sadly, it wasn’t to continue his coaching duties on the show!
“American Idol” is not the only reality singing competition show that has former panelists returning on stage.
According to the entertainment news, “The Voice” coaches sang “Time of Your Life” on CHRISTINA AGUILERA and CEE LO GREEN‘s last day on the show, which aired on Tuesday night.
Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have taken their possibly permanent from “The Voice” to focus on their new albums—and will now be replaced by new coaches, Usher and Shakira—but they didn’t do so without performing with their fellow coaches on stage in front of their loyal audience one last time.
CEE LO GREEN is currently being accused of sexual battery, according to the latest Hollywood news and gossip.
Former “The Voice” judge Cee Lo Green has had his fair share of controversies in the past two years since he launched his solo career, including the time he angered Beatles fans by altering the lyrics of John Lennon’s song, “Imagine” during a performance on New Year’s Eve, and the time he flashed his middle finger while singing at an event attended by none other than the POTUS, Barack Obama. But this one, obviously, is an entirely different controversy altogether—a much more serious one that could cost him not just a few fans, but possibly land him behind bars as well.
The latest Hollywood celebrity gossip reports that MARIAH CAREY and NICKI MINAJ‘s feud on “American Idol” is staged for show ratings… and credible celebrities have spoken to prove it!
The first few days of “American Idol” auditions have proven to be more of a dramatic sitcom than a reality singing competition, thanks to the ongoing rivalry between its newest judges, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, who recently started fighting in front of the cameras.
The latest entertainment news reports that USHER and SHAKIRA will be replacing CHRISTINA AGUILERA and CEE LO GREEN in the upcoming season of “The Voice.”
While the current mentor line-up on the current season of “The Voice” proved to be interesting—mainly because of the petty fights and the “bromances” on the show—Grammy-winning pop star Christina Aguilera, who recently released her first solo single in years, and famed R&B artist Cee Lo Green will be leaving the show.
