The “Thor” star and the Spanish actress, who met in 2010 and got married three months later, have finally welcomed their first child together—a healthy baby girl named India Rose. Pataky reportedly gave birth in London on Friday.

A source close to the couple tells Us Weekly:

“She’s so proud of Chris and he’s proud of her… They are an adorable family already!”

As previously reported, first-time mom Jessica Simpson finally gave birth—after what seemed like an eternity of being pregnant—to her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, on May 1. And now that she’s finally popped, Jessica’s gigantic baby bump is no longer the topic of discussion on celebrity gossip websites.

Now, people are talking about the name she and fiancé Eric Johnson chose for their newborn baby girl—Maxwell Drew. For instance, when Kathy Griffin heard about Jessica’s very masculine name for her baby girl, she told Us Weekly:

“I’m all for it. I get nervous about the inappropriate celebrity baby names, but, I actually approve.”

However, the comedienne isn’t too fond of the nicknames that go with the name Maxwell. She said:

“The nickname Maxi does remind me of a feminine napkin or a long dress that was popular in Gloria Steinem‘s era, but Max I can live with…”

Kathy added:

“Believe me, [Jessica] would’ve heard from me if it was a fruit or a vegetable or a kind of wallpaper or whatever these crazy celebrities are doing.”

Struggles with infertility, a miscarriage and a tragic diagnosis of breast cancer later, Giuliana Rancic was all smiles when she came on the “Today” show Monday with her beaming husband Bill Rancic to reveal that they are finally expecting a baby.

The E! News host and her husband are expecting their baby via a gestational surrogate, which means they will be the genetic parents (hooray!).

Giuliana tells E! News:

“We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered.”

Bill added:

“We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey.”

Due in late summer, the “Giuliana & Bill” reality stars expect no surprise with regard to the sex of the baby because they already know what it is, but they refuse to divulge the information:

“We’re seeing how long we can keep it secret.”

Hilary, who gave birth last month to her first child with husband Mike Comrie, is very ecstatic about being a mother.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, Hilary admitted that she really enjoys spending time with one-month-old Luca. She shared:

“It’s such a wonderful bonding time… Just to have your baby thrive and knowing that you’re doing that and you’re responsible — it’s such a rewarding feeling.”

Being a new mom, Hilary finds every single thing her son does exciting and new. She revealed:

“The day is exciting if he makes a new face or he gets to take a real bath instead of a sponge bath.”

But out of all of Luca’s “milestones,” nothing was more exciting to Hilary than the time his belly button fell off. She recalled:

“That was a huge one. And then I wanted to keep it but my husband was like, ‘No, that’s gross, you can’t keep it!’ I’m like, ‘I’m totally keeping it,’ and I secretly kept it.”

The blonde beauty added:

“But now it’s not a secret anymore. It’s in a Ziploc bag in the back of my makeup drawer. Luca’s going to think I’m a freak!”

Hilary Duff finally gave her fans a glimpse of her adorable son as she debuted photos of her and former hockey player husband Mike Comrie‘s son, Luca Cruz Comrie, on Twitter yesterday. The proud new mom first shared a photo showing her two-week-old child’s feet and another that showed the wide-eyed tot wrapped up in a blanket and looking straight into the camera for million-plus her followers.

She posted the caption for the first ever Instagram photo of her baby’s feet:

The next day, Hilary posted and captioned the first photo that showed

Kidding aside, Bruce‘s rep has confirmed to celebrity news that Bruce Willis and his wife of three years, designer-model Emma Heming, finally welcomed their first child, a healthy 9lbs. and 1 oz. baby girl now named Mabel Ray Willis, last Sunday in Los Angeles.

The “Die Hard” actor now has a total of 4 children all in all, including 3 other daughters with his ex-wife, Demi Moore.

Willis‘s rep tells PEOPLE:

“[Bruce and Emma] are overjoyed about the newest member of their family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”

Another Hollywood baby, that’s for sure!

Well, it’s about time!

We honestly thought it would take a while longer before the zombie resembling Hilary Duff would finally give birth to her first baby, which means getting rid of her elephant bump at last! We’re totally kidding. But the “Lizzie McGuire” star, who’s married to Mike Comrie, did finally deliver her healthy baby boy last Tuesday!

The glowing mom happily broke the news to her fans and followers via her Twitter:

HUGH GRANT has finally broken his silence and talked about his new love, his 5-month-old baby girl TABITHA.

Hugh Grant finally welcomed his baby with his mystery woman, Chinese actress Tinglan Hong, five months ago but kept mum to celebrity news about his love child’s name. Fortunately, the 51-year-old Hollywood heartthrob and chick flick king, who dated model and actress Elizabeth Hurley for 13 years and but never got around to actually marrying or having his first baby with her, decided that it was better late than never and has revealed his newfound love affair with little Tabitha.

Grant tells The Guardian:

“Lots of people warned me that the baby period is not that exciting. But I am excited, actually. I thought, well, I’ll bluff through — but very little bluffing has been required.”

Although his first baby was born and conceived out of wedlock, the “Notting Hill” actor doesn’t love her any less and admits to her changing him in just a matter of months:

“I like my daughter very much. Has she changed my life? I’m not sure. Not yet. Not massively, no. But I’m absolutely thrilled to have had her — I really am. And I feel a better person.”

Unlike many first-time Hollywood parents who instinctively spoil their children, Grand shares that he would be different with Tabitha and his future children:

“There are few things in life I believe in 100 percent, but one is not giving your children money. I see nothing but f-ck-ups among my trust fund friends. It’s like 99 percent f-ck-ups. So I would not want to do that to my children, no.”

It seems that Grant has no reservations about taking the leap while unwed to Hong, as they’ve had “a fleeting affair” so far. A source even adds:

“He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”

The newly engaged Snooki may have already picked out the name of the baby that she’s expecting as she reveals to have picked out several baby names for all her upcoming offsprings, not necessarily with new fiancé Jionni LaValle. The “Jersey Shore” star may not be that far along but like a young teenager who wishes of a big happy family, she shares her favorite baby name choices.

For a girl, Snooki previously told People that she would love the names Gia and Isabella. She also told GQ last year that she might also go for the name Giana. For a boy, she tells People that she might consider the names Tony and Frankie but also tells GQ that she’s thinking of naming him after her new fiancé, making the name Jionni Jr.

We weren’t kidding when we said that she might actually use all of these names, as she shares that:

“Family is a big thing for me and I can’t wait to start a family. I definitely want to start a big family – like four or five kids poppin’ out!”

According to Ben Affleck‘s Facebook page, he and wife Jennifer Garner welcomed a very healthy baby boy, now named Samuel, last Monday in Santa Monica. And the first boy at that! And no, their daughters Violet and Seraphina didn’t get to pick the name themselves after their parents revealed they would in our previous report, but they are equally thrilled about the addition of a boy for a change.

The third-time daddy Affleck jokingly shares prior to baby Samuel‘s arrival:

“I have three women in the house, and how is that like? Well, I get to be wrong three times a day!”

When brought to answer the question of what the baby’s gender should be, Ben‘s “Bourne Identity” star best friend and father of four little girls, Matt Damon, tells the happy couple:

“Between the two of you though, are you hoping a boy this time? It’s not like me and Ben are having a kid, I really hope it’s a boy, you know, I think you always cross your fingers for a healthy kid.”

But Jennifer tells Ellen Degeneres back in 2010:

“Obviously we’d be happy either way because it would be so weird to have a boy and cool and different, and I’m sure it would be fun for Ben. He likes baseball and all that stuff, but a third girl, three girls is a great way to grow up.”

Blue Ivy Carter‘s mom posed in a new spread in the February issue of Spain’s DT Magazine to promote the two new albums she’s collaborating with hip-hop mogul husband, Jay-Z, now that they both have another mouth to feed…

Don’t you just love how that tight corset sets off Beyonce‘s lactating breasts?

Owing to the fact that she and Jay-Z are anxious to get back in the studio and crank out some new tunes, Beyonce is working double time to shed the pregnancy weight since she gave birth last month. She’s working out everyday and has lost 14 pounds already!

Beyonce is currently in talks about her next two albums, and it seems she isn’t interested in the music that’s headlining 2012.

“All I can say is that you kind of feed her the best that you have and she’s this phenomenal filter and takes it all in… she’s not interested in 2012, she’s [interested in] what’s going to sound good for 2013,”

One Republic’s singer/songwriter, Ryan Tedder, who’s working with Beyonce on two separate albums told AOL’s The Boombox.

“Without question she steers the ship. [With Beyonce] you just let her go — she’s ridiculous, she’s the best.”

Looks like we have great things to expect from Beyonce this year…and all throughout the next.

The proud parents opted to reveal their beloved heir and offspring on their own terms, neither courting the tabloids for a million dollar deal announcement (ahem, Mariah Carey), or keeping their star child to themselves until the media lost interest (e.g., their own super secret wedding in 2008)…

Instead, they chose to share images of their new-born daughter with the world via a Tumblr page they released themselves.

“We welcome you to share in our joy.”

A handwritten message on the page reads.

“Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family.”

And isn’t it fitting this child of the power couple, who’s already made music history and had her name trademarked, makes inroads into our hearts this way?

Apparently Beyonce and Jay-Z needed to take immediate steps to ensure their baby’s name wasn’t used as a brand name for any line of baby-related products, including carriages, diaper bags and baby cosmetics, after a fashion designer, Joseph Mbeh, submitted an application to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC” just four days after the child was born…

Not to mention that Blue Ivy strain of marijuana, which was named in honor of the yet-to-be-seen star child.

The A-list power couple have already filed their application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office after it turned down Mbeh‘s earlier application, and a second claim by another applicant who attempted to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” for a line of fragrances just last month.

Wise of Beyonce and Jay-Z. It’s a good thing they acted quickly (although not quick enough) to exercise their legal right to trademark their baby’s name. Who’d want their child to grow up  with a moniker found on nearly every product, from heavy-duty poop diapers to weed sprouts?

Congratulations, Jasper… err… Jackson!

Edward and Bella may have been the first (and only) ones from the Cullen coven to successfully procreate, but it was actually Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone) who was the first to do it in real life.

According to the latest star news, Jackson and his girlfriend, Sheila Hafsadi, are expecting their first child. Rathbone’s rep tells Us Weekly:

“[Jackson and Shiela are] thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child.”

Shiela is actually already five months pregnant, and Jackson couldn’t be more excited. Us reports:

“A source tells Us he recently traded in two of his vehicles for a Lexus Hybrid SUV to make more room for the family’s little one.”

It seems Blue Ivy‘s parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce have been carefully considering the people to whom they plan to entrust their 19-day-old heir’s spiritual guidance, and they feel media mogul and queen of television, Oprah Winfrey is the perfect fit for their destiny’s child…

Among Jay-Z and Beyonce‘s considerations for shortlisting godparent candidates is that said godparent should not be a blood relation. This scratches out Blue Ivy‘s aunt, Solange Knowles, who was raring and ready to spoil Blue Ivy more rotten than she already is.

And secondly, the godparent needs to be freaking rich. All the better to gift Blue Ivy with the bling she needs in the life she’ll lead.

So we guess Oprah fits the bill. Congrats Oprah!

The new dad has announced he’s cleaning up his act…and his language…now that he has baby girl Blue Ivy Carter in his life.

Isn’t this going to be a rather hard rule for Jay-Z to follow? Because we believe there isn’t a single rapper in Hollywood who doesn’t use the “b” word…even dating back to the early ’80s when the art form became part of the mainstream music industry. So if Jay-Z‘s never going to use the “b” word again, we suppose there are other worthier expletives to choose from, eh?

And so the man once known as Shawn Corey Carter wrote a poem in honor of his baby daughter vowing to drop the “b” word from all of his future lyrics forever…

“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the word b—h/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.”

It looks like Jay-Z is taking parenting seriously, so woe to anyone who calls Blue a “b*tch”… or tries to date her before she’s 30.

“No man will degrade her, or call her name. I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.”

Well, you can’t fault the man for trying to be the best dad of the most sheltered and spoiled baby princess ever. And we guess it also means he’ll be subjecting us to the kind of “love my baby” poems like the one above for the rest of his career…

Not only was Blue Ivy the most anticipated baby in Hollywood, her coming disrupted the smooth operations and customer service (for other patients, that is) at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and made history as the youngest ever person to make it to the Billboard Top 100 chart. Now L.A. pot shops have dedicated a strain of weed sprouts in her name…Beyonce and Jay-Z (and particularly Jay-Z) must be puff-out proud!

In another record for the Guiness’ Book, “OG Blue Ivy” is popping up in multiple weed dispensers all over Hollywood. So if you’ve a mind to draw in the sweetness of this baby whose namesake hasn’t yet been seen by the world, hop on over to any pot shop in L.A. and breathe in the scent of celebrity.

And while Beyonce and Jay-Z haven’t given their okay on this new strain, neither have they sicced their legal hounds with notices to cease and desist on sellers of “OG Blue Ivy.”

Reserving the whole neonatal ward, and indeed, the whole floor of the hospital for the birth of baby Blue Ivy cost Beyonce and Jay-Z a reported $1.3 million, though the hospital was quick to deny that they gave any special treatment to the Grammy award winning singer and her hip-hop mogul of a husband. But pictures do speak a thousand words, don’t they? So here’s a few more thousand of them…

“The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true,”

the hospital said in a statement they recently issued.

“The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations.”

But what about allegations the couple’s stringent security detail gave other hospital patients and their visitors,  not to mention the medical staff, a hard time?

“The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility,”

the Lennox Hill administration continued in it’s statement.

A statement belied by reports of an irate Manhattan contractor, Neil Coulon, among many other mistreated parents, who complained that Beyonce‘s security team refused him entry not only once, but three times, when he tried to visit his wife who had given birth to premature twin girls.

“Once they checked in there was high security everywhere,”

his wife, Rozz Nash-Coulon, revealed to The Associated Press.

“It looked like the president was on our floor. The hospital’s security cameras were taped over. Internal windows from the hallways into the ward were blacked out.”

Other patients complained that they were hampered by the star’s burly security guards. Others said they were denied access or forced to wait to go to their rooms. Cellphones were detained at the floor to the maternity ward, and one of the doctors alleged he was unable to contact his patients via mobile because of this.

And that just goes to show how special Blue Ivy Carter is…barely a week old, yet recipient of the kind of treatment reserved for royalty. Who wouldn’t want to give birth in these kind of surroundings?

Watch out, people…Blue Ivy Carter will be a force to reckon with…right after you get past her parents, that is…

The 30-year-old Grammy award-winning pop singer and her hip-hop mogul husband, 42, shelled out a reported $1.3 million to book a whole swanky, newly renovated suite (some sources say they took over a whole floor) of the Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. And then there’s the list of Beyonce‘s diva-ish demands…

Beyonce checked in under the pseudonym “Ingrid Jackson,” which doesn’t make a lot of sense if everybody knew Ingrid Jackson booked the whole neonatal wing of a New York hospital at the same time news was spreading like wildfire that a certain broad named Beyonce was ready to pop out Destiny’s Child.

She also demanded for hospital staff to turn over their cell phones to avoid any unauthorized picture snapping, and instructed all security camera lenses on her floor to be covered with tape.

And we still have to get to the security team who reportedly muscled their way across the whole maternity and neonatal wing in their zeal to keep paparazzi and  curiosity seekers away, quite forgetting Beyonce…excuse us, “Ingrid Jackson”…wasn’t the only patient or expectant mother there.

In fact, Brooklyn contractor Neil Coulon complained about having been barred repeatedly from seeing his wife who gave birth to premature twin girls that day. Coulon’s still waiting for an apology. Think he’s going to get it?

Maybe Bey…that is to say, “Ingrid Jackson,” should have just flown to another country to give birth. You know, like Brangelina. Goodness knows she and “Mr. Jackson” can afford it.
