Then, when asked to comment about Lady Gaga’s influence on today’s gay youth, Madonna responded:

“It seems genuine… It seems natural, and I can see why she has a young gay following. I can see that they connect to her kind of not fitting into the conventional norm. I mean, she’s not Britney Spears. She’s not built like a brick sh-thouse.”

She added:

“[Gaga] seems to have had a challenging upbringing, and so I can see where she would also have that kind of connection, a symbiotic relationship with gay men.”

Sorry, Gaga… Madonna just can’t seem to bring herself to return the love you have for her!

Earlier, producers of Lifetime Network announced that Lindsay was up to play the role of late screen legend and icon, Elizabeth Taylor in “Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story.” Turns out the network’s  seeking free press for the biopic because Megan Fox has been lined up to play Liz, too…

Tsk-tsk.

“I’ve been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox,”

Larry Thompson, executive producer of Lifetime’s “Liz and Dick,” told E!News in an exclusive interview.

“It’s a very serious selection,”

he said.

“It’s like casting for Hollywood royalty.”

Huh. Royalty, indeed.

Lindsay remains one of the frontrunners for the role, but she’s still under “probation” with the court, and that presents the complication of shuttling back and forth from L.A. for progress reports with her judge-in-charge, to Canada, where filming where start in the spring.

The only remaining option for Lifetime Network producers is to hold a seance to ask the original Liz which actress she’d prefer to play her.

It seems the Material Girl had a listen on Mother Monster‘s allegedly heavily Madonna-influenced chart-topping single and found it wanting. Like other critics of Lady Gaga, did Madonna think she got ripped off by a attention-seeking sensationalist wannabe?

Still, hasn’t Gaga cited Madonna as a huge inspiration to her current body of work? So what if that influence has trickled down to the actual chord structures of her songs?

“I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it’s amusing and flattering and well done,”

Madonna told ABC News in an interview.

“There’s a lot of ways to look at it. I can’t really be annoyed by it …because, obviously, I’ve influenced her.”

Unfortunately, the 53-year-old pop icon thinks Lady Gaga may have gone overboard in attempting to channel the one and only Madonna.

“When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar,”

Madonna admits.

“It feels reductive.”

And for the uninformed, synonyms for “reductive”  include “backward,” “coarse,” and “crude.”

Crystal is obviously not content with dumping Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner just days before their already-paid-for wedding, taking the engagement ring and selling it, and making fun of his skills in the bedroom… she now wants to take his dog, too.

Holly Madison was obviously upset for Hef, and she took to Twitter to express it. She tweeted at Crystal:

“why did you voluntarily give the dog to Hef (who loves him too) after u left, only to ask for him back a few months later?”

She added:

“dogs shouldn’t be yanked from happy homes on a whim. She needs to quit attention-seeking!”

Kendra Wilkinson, meanwhile, also tweeted her support for Hef. She said:

Kris has allegedly moved on from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce from him—without warning—right after Halloween, after a measly 72 days of marriage.

In what seems to be some sort of retaliatory move on Kris’ part, his chosen rebound chick is none other than Kim’s alleged rival, Dollicia Bryan, whom Kim reportedly “hates” because she was previously linked to her ex, Reggie Bush. A source tells Star magazine:

“Kim hates Dollicia, because she was rumored to have hooked up with Reggie Bush while Kim was dating him.”

But Reggie isn’t the only reason Kim hates Dollicia. The insider continues:

“Rob was totally head over heels for [Dollicia]… [He even] invited her to Kim’s wedding!”

The source adds:

“[Kris] knew that they’d be photographed, and Kim would be furious. … Kim sees her as a threat.”

“There will never be a reunion … as I will never do anything with an a**hole like Will Smith.”

Hubert adds:

“He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

The root of her rancor? Janet believes that Will Smith himself was the reason she was fired from the show back in 1993;

Will, on the other hand, claims that it was Janet’s bad attitude that got her sacked. He reveals:

“[Hubert] said once, ‘I’ve been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.’ No matter what, to her I’m just the AntiChrist.”

As previously reported, Pink spent $5,000 to save a mortally injured puppy that was in need of immediate surgery after being thrown into a river by some sick, heartless A-hole. And, thanks to the singer’s kind donation, the puppy is now on the mend and has been adopted by a loving family.

Some people, however, think that the money would have been better spent saving a whole lot of lives (human or animal), which is why Harvey Levin tweeted:

“I think @pink did great by saving dog. But there’s a debate. Spend 5k on 1 dog that’s really sick or use $$$ to rescue 10 dogs w/ food, etc.”

Pink scathingly replied:

“@HarveyLevinTMZ I do both actually.at least I don’t spend my money employing criminals to go+harass people. Maybe you should save something?”

Levin then tweeted:

“Let me say again..I think what @Pink did is amazing. The Q I was asking is about the dilemma of rescue Orgs…which animals to actually save”

After a while, Levin offered an olive branch to Pink by saying:

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock (or just don’t follow Hollywood celebrity gossip all that much), Demi checked into rehab last year after punching a backup dancer while on a plane. But no, she wasn’t treated for anger issues. The real reason the former “Sonny With a Chance” star checked into rehab was to be treated for bulimia and self-harm.

So when one of the characters on Disney’s “Shake It Up” made a joke about eating disorders, Demi immediately took offense. Yesterday, she tweeted the joke and expressed her dismay with the channel:

“I could just eat you up, well if I ate” – Disney Chanel’s Shake It Up…. What are we promoting here? #notfunnyATALL”

She added:

“I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease. #nice”

Demi then ranted:

“And is it just me or are the actress’ getting THINNER AND THINNER…. I miss the days of RAVEN [Raven Symone], and LIZZIE MCGUIRE [Hilary Duff].”

Finally, Demi said:

“Dear Disney Channel, EATING DISORDERS ARE NOT SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT.”

Obviously, Demi’s rant reached the “powers that be” at Disney Channel, as their official Twitter account tweeted just hours later:

Jonah is the latest in a growing list of celebrities who hate the Kardashians. Michael Bublé once referred to Kim as “that b*tch,” Janice Dickinson called Kim a “sl*t” and a “wh*re,” and Daniel Craig called all of them “f*cking idiots.”

So what did Jonah have to say about reality TV’s Royal Family? He tells The Huffington Post:

“The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like “Mad Men” is disgusting.”

He adds:

“The truth of it is, I have friends who work in TV and the Kardashians get higher ratings than their TV shows. Shows that people actually work hard on — writing and creating and trying to tell stories.“

But Jonah isn’t necessarily blaming the Kardashians. He says:

“The Kardashians are as famous as our president. What does that tell you about how skewed our society is?”

The “Moneyball” star continues:

“It’s a super disgusting part of our culture, but I still find it funny to make a joke about it. Whenever I say I like reality TV, people write about it like they’re in shock. I can’t even understand it, so I watch it. I think it’s funny and I definitely enjoy it in a making-fun-of-it sort of way.”

In an exclusive interview with Star Magazine, Janice slams the Kardashian family and rags on Kim, her famous butt, and her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

The former supermodel rants:

“Paris Hilton, Kim Kar-trash-ian? Sl*ts, wh*res and sl*ts. That’s what they are.”

She adds:

“And it’s about time for the U.S. public to just remember that you look at this [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] every night and you’re endorsing a fake marriage.”

Referring to the money Kim earned from her wedding, Janice continues:

“$18 million? Why couldn’t that money have gone to Haiti? That fake sham marriage was disgusting because they did it for money.”

Then, after calling Kim’s most prized body part (her booty, duh!) a “heap of lard,” Janice goes on to reveal that she has known Kim for years, but despite her attempts to be friendly, the latter just “snubbed” her. She explains:

“I’ve known Kim for years… she never said hello to me once, [while] I always said ‘hello,’ ‘how are you?’ [to her]. She snubbed me. ”

Janice adds:

“It was only until I did “Good Morning America” and she was in the next dressing room… that her mother [Kris Jenner] made her go up and say “hello” to me. And I just looked at her and said, ‘Are you serious? She’s fake and you’re fake,’ and walked away.”

Finally, Janice ended her rant with this:

If you’re not a Trekkie, you poor, unfortunate soul, you wouldn’t know that George Takei played Hikaru Sulu, the USS Enterprise’s helmsman from the original television series. Yes, that makes him a septuagenarian, and likely not worthy of your notice. But hark, George Takei is still a force to reckon with a 248,000-strong Twitter following and 310,000 Facebook likes among Trekkie fans. And he fancies himself an ambassador among science fiction nations, too…

Mr. Sulu…that is to say, Mr. Takei, fully aware of the ongoing battle between his beloved “Star Trek” fans and George Lucas‘ “Star Wars” die-hards, sought to bring peace between the two warring factions by urging them to unite against a common enemy.

Said common enemy being “Twilight.”

“Fellow Star folks, cool it down and shut your big wormholes,”

Mr. Sulu eloquently elucidates in a YouTube video.

“Each is wonderful in its own special way. What’s needed today now more than ever is star peace, for there is an ominous, mutual threat to all science fiction. It’s called Twilight and it is really, really bad.”

What is he saying? Does he not know how many millions of “Twilight” fans are sharpening their fangs even as the video makes it’s rounds on the Internet?

“Gone is any sense of heroism, camaraderie or epic battles. In its place, we have vampires that sparkle, moan and go to high school.”

George Takei complains.

“Now, I’m not above mixing in a little sex appeal to spice up the fantasy, but sci-fi fans be warned, there are no great stories, characters or profound life lessons to be found in Twilight. Nooo…In Twilight, the only message that rings through loud and clear is: ‘Does my boyfriend like me?’”

And apparently Stephenie Meyer, George Takei really, truly doesn’t like you.

Well, that’s putting it bluntly enough. Would you point a finger and say 007 wasn’t a “real man” if he didn’t apologize immediately after calling your family “f**king idiots?” Because Daniel Craig did exactly that last month on  GQ UK magazine, bashing the Kardashians for selling themselves out to the public and they crying out for privacy…

“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f—ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions.’”

Craig is quoted as saying in the magazine. And Kris Kardashian isn’t having any of that.

“[He has] crossed the line. It’s not made him look like the world’s nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology,”

Kris told The National Enquirer, insinuating the English actor isn’t a “real man” at all.

“The easy thing would be to criticize his career now, but our family won’t stoop to that level.”

And star news thinks that’s exactly the kind of high road Kris Jenner should take right now, because why would the momager of a reality starlet cast aspersions on the character of an international A-list actor?

As previously reported by celebrity news, Farrah started this bizarre Twitter war on Friday when she expressed her shock over Kourtney’s announcement that she was having another baby, implying that she (Kourtney) should have known better, and that maybe it was a fake pregnancy. The reality mom wrote:

“Im Shocked Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again, Did she not learn anything from TEEN MOM? Maybe its a fake pregnancy like kims wedding SAD”

Don’t get it? Don’t worry, neither do we.

Kourtney responded:

Jessica‘s sore that the wide-eyed “Princess Diaries” star’s has been grabbing all the meaty movies Jessica‘s auditioned for and claims Anne‘s been stealing her thunder and landing all those films despite Jessica having worked her shapely butt off to win those roles…first “Batman,” and now “Les Miserables.”

“I auditioned for Fantine, and I sang ‘I Dreamed a Dream.’ I didn’t get it. I would have loved it.”

Jessica complained in Elle Magazine‘s December 2011 issue.

Of course A-list Anne was having none of that.

“In truth, Anne feels she’s a true leading lady who has been nominated for Academy Awards and Golden Globes, while Jessica’s movie career doesn’t even compare,”

A source revealed to The National Enquirer.

“In her opinion, Jessica is known for her TV role on 7th Heaven and blockbuster-type movies like The A-Team that show a limited acting range. Stacy and Elisabetta found themselves face to face on Monday, as both beauties attended the launch party for “The Beauty Book for Brain Cancer” at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Now despite the fact that Italian model Elisabetta came there with a date—hunky new boyfriend Mehcad Brooks of “True Blood”—she noticeably avoided Clooney’s statuesque new squeeze, who went stag to the event.

During the dinner, Clooney’s girls ate at separate tables and basically pretended like the other one didn’t exist. An eyewitness shares:

“[Stacy and Elisabetta] were always on opposite sides of the room… They were basically avoiding each other the whole night.”

Can we blame them? It is pretty awkward, especially since Stacy started dating George just weeks after he dumped Elisabetta.

In her recent interview with Seventeen magazine, Nikki talked about her experiences as a part of the “Twilight” family, and how it’s not all fun and laughter between everyone. The gorgeous newlywed, who tied the knot with “American Idol” alum Paul MacDonald last month, explained:

“In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family – it was like being at sleepaway camp.”

Unfortunately, all that changed. She added:

“…then success comes along and changes the dynamic. We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.”

Nikki, who plays Edward Cullen’s adopted sister Rosalie Hale, admitted:

“It was very, very sad. Let’s just leave it at that… Attachments grow when you’re working with the same people for so long. People are friends, people fall in love, people get in fights. We’re not all robots in that way. Sure, things have gone on, and it’s weird to have them be in the public eye.”
