BEYONCE Is That You?
BEYONCE is that you?
In another “whitewashing” of events, a promotional photo for the Grammy winner and new mom turned up lighter…much, much lighter than expected.
With her blonde wig and Photoshop bleached skin, you’d almost expect Beyonce to be Caucasian, just like in another whitewashed L’Oreal ad controversy she appeared in in 2008. Chalk the photo down to artistic license, but Beyonce‘s skin lightening, whether in photographs or in real life, harks back to her days during Destiny’s Child when her father and then manager, Matthew Knowles, encouraged his bread and butter to be as light as she possibly could be…
Has BRITNEY SPEARS fallen victim to Photoshop again?
Fans have been debating over the photo taken of the singer on her “Femme Fatale” mega-tour featured on V Magazine, and they’re claiming some art editor has taken a lot of sacrilegious liberties on their idol.
Sure, Brit-Brit has improved a great deal body-wise compared to a couple of years ago when she was in the midst of her meltdown, and pouring Cheetos and a cocktail of alcoholic drinks down her craw.
TAYLOR SWIFT‘s new CoverGirl campaign has been pulled due to an excess of airbrushing, celebrity news just learned. Apparently, not even country pop’s squeaky-clean sweetheart was spared by the Photoshop bandit.
The ads have been done over so smoothly, you wouldn’t even recognize that it’s Taylor Swift unless you know she’s been the regular face for a few of CoverGirl’s cosmetics for some time now. But her ads have been the target of inquiry by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus Claims after the CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara print ad appeared featuring her with astoundingly milky skin and fluttery eyes…
If you’re looking for KRISTEN STEWART‘s Glamour-ous missing arm, you aren’t likely to find it. The Photoshop has bandit struck again, and this time around, it walloped Kristen a hard one on the cover of Glamour magazine, effectively making her a cripple from her left bicep up. Wonder what Edward has to say about his sadly incomplete looking Bella…
“Slumdog Millionaire” star FREIDA PINTO got a “photo-bleach” treatment in a new L’Oréal Paris ad, showing her with a much lighter skin tone than her natural one seen in the photo below. It seems someone in the L’Oréal art department has a heavy hand with Photoshop and can’t stand the Indian actress’ medium olive skin…
Celebrity news celebrates the fact that L’Oréal doesn’t practice racial discrimination in it’s choice of models, but would it hurt their sales too much if they let up on their obsession with digital imaging and let women’s natural beauty shine through?
PETA managed to do a hell lot of something to KELLY BROOK‘s sweetly gorgeous face in their new campaign poster she’s on. Did someone get slap-happy with the Photoshop erase tool, because that doesn’t look like Kelly anymore than Joan Rivers looks like herself from 20 years ago.
“Who’s Skin Are You In?” indeed. Was PETA trying to portray her as a snake woman? Because we’ve never seen a more highly endowed snake woman than Kelly here, unless PETA was trying to let us believe she’s digesting a lunch of some sort of aardvark or baby hippo down her front and up her backside.
