2012 truly is a year full of new and better things for Kelly Clarkson! First, she finally gets a boyfriend just when she thought she would never fall in love again… Now, she finally loses her long-overdue baby weight—but not because Hollywood gossip keeps on calling her fat. And she shows it off on the cover of a magazine too!

And no, it’s not another photoshopped image of her. We’re sure about it this time.

According to Us Weekly’s June 2012 issue, the “American Idol” winner managed to dropped her excess weight in a matter of 6 months by training five days per week and adopting a portion-controlled diet and she now “feels better about herself than she ever has.”

She reportedly has a remaining 10 pounds to shed off to achieve her goal weight. Nonetheless, she’s proud of her new body and fully credits her boyfriend Brandon Blackstock for the inspiration.

A source also told the magazine:

“Brandon is the first guy ever who tells her how beautiful and sexy she is. She wants to look good for him.”

Aww! Who knew that love was her much-awaited secret diet ingredient?

Now for all those ladies who wish to lose some weight, you ought to be thinking of getting a boyfriend like our dear Kelly here, and tell us if it worked for you too!

Jessica may have just found the perfect, most rewarding way of losing weight after agreeing to become part of “Weight Watchers” as their newest endorser, following Jennifer Hudson.

After getting too big (65-75 pounds!) during her recent pregnancy, which finally came to a close when she gave birth to her baby girl, Maxwell Drew, even she knows that she is in dire need of a weight loss program.

And what better weight loss program than what “Weight Watchers” offers? They were nice enough to take notice of Jess‘ need too, as the company said in a statement:

“We’re thrilled that Jessica Simpson has chosen to join Weight Watchers to adopt a healthier lifestyle and inspire others to do the same.”

They added:

“From the point when we started speaking with Jessica before she became pregnant, to now when she’s had baby Maxwell, Jessica has made clear her commitment to establishing a healthier lifestyle for herself and her family.”

Of course Jess couldn’t keep her excitement, as she tweeted:

“So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!”

Star news reports that Beyonce has officially gone back to work looking like she never gave birth to her first child when she kicked off her Memorial Day Weekend four-night stand last Friday night on stage for the launch of the Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City.

New Jersey was lucky to have witnessed Mother Sasha Fierce during her comeback that lasted for an entire set, which included her hits “Single Lades” and “Run The World” and five costume changes—all showing off her original curves.

No wonder her ever-supporting husband Jay-Z tweeted:

“‘I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine.’ BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.”

Quite possibly the sexiest one too!

Doesn’t she look good?

It seems Christina has finally decided to hit the gym up and shed some of the extra weight after all the backlash over her curvier figure, which she repeatedly displayed on stage last year—first in a racy costume at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in October, and again a month later in an overly tight bandage dress at the American Music Awards.

And now she looks fab!

Admittedly, Christina doesn’t look as skinny as she used to be, but we definitely think this slimmer, more toned figure really suits her. She looks beautiful and healthy!

Is this a belated reaction to Karl Lagerfeld calling her “fat”?

Despite her proud declaration that she didn’t care about her weight and “never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines,” Adele has reportedly gone on a weight loss program to help her drop two dress sizes before bikini season.

Whoa.

But it’s not all about vanity, of course. Adele reportedly just wants to be fit and healthy, especially after her health scare last year when she had to undergo vocal cord surgery. The Sun reports:

“[Adele] has been working out with a personal trainer twice a week at home. [She] has also taken up Pilates after pal Alan Carr recommended it to her.”

An insider adds:

“Adele has found so much more energy now she’s quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she’s halfway there.”

The source continues:

“She had always been curious about taking up Pilates but until recently there just hadn’t been any time.”

Therapy, eh?

Pretty potent, drug, that.

The potty-mouth English media personality, who has battled drink and drug addiction in the past, as well as a war with her weight, has lost 50 pounds and regained a lot of self-esteem during the period she joined “Dancing With The Stars in 2009.” It looks like she dropped a lot of other bad habits, as well, and accomplished all of this through therapy…

“I was filled with self-hate as a teenager after being bombarded with headlines like, ‘Ozzy‘s beached whale daughter.’ It was like torture to me and I really took it to heart. Being a teenager is hard enough without having to deal with that, so I turned to drugs to numb my pain.”

The 27-year-old “Fashion Police” co-host told British Hello! Magazine.

“Now I go to therapy because I don’t want to be on medication my entire life. There’s still a stigma about therapy, but it’s helping me put things into perspective and see the things that are superficial and shouldn’t be bothering me.”

Well, therapy’s better than being called a “beached whale” or a druggie, that’s for sure. And if Kelly thinks it’s what’s keeping her away from an addiction to alcohol and prescription medication, then a toast to therapy, that’s one less celebrity addict off the streets…

And her journey to getting there isn’t over yet by far.

The 27-year-old “Fashion Police” co-host has always struggled with her weight for most of her life, but a stint in “Dancing With The Stars” in 2009 helped her shed nearly 23 kg. (50 lbs.), and she’s never looked back since…

So we can’t really blame her for tweeting us her pride and joy…her new and improved fit physique that she’s harnessed all her discipline for to keep in shape for more than a year now.

Because we remember it was just over a year ago when Kelly showed us her awesomely svelte figure in Shape Magazine’s December 2010 issue:

The 37-year-old former Spice Girl has always been borderline skeletal to begin with, but she must be really proud of the new highs she’s achieved in getting her body back to size zero after giving birth to her fourth child seven months ago because this isn’t the first time she’s done a magazine cover since Harper Seven was born…

In the photo above, Victoria wears a a white corseted Rochas body, teamed with Manolo Blahnik heels, all the better to show off her toned bod, but Victoria admits she wasn’t always comfortable with the way she looked or dressed in the past.

‘When I started it was all about the corset dress. That’s what people associated me with, and possibly if I’m honest, a sign of my own insecurities as well,”

she tells i-D Magazine in an exclusive interview about her fashion choices.

“But the older I get and the more comfortable I am in my own skin, the more I realize that to look great and feel great I haven’t always got to wear something tight.”

Hmmm…considering she did the celebrity photo shoot wearing outfits plenty tight enough for us, like the black PVC style lingerie top and shorts from Balmain below, maybe her idea of tight isn’t the same as ours…

Still, we do envy her tight body, and the defined brow and smoky eye make-up on her cover photo. Not to mention the huge diamond ring on her right hand in lieu of any other jewelry.

So go on ahead and show us your post-baby body, Victoria. With all the hard work you’ve done to get where you are, you’ve got every right to boast…

The former Spice Girl covered the magazine’s March issue, and posed in lingerie on it’s inside pages, showing her always svelte, always slender figure. Is her sudden slim-down so shocking? Not really. But she looks really good for someone who currently carries a half-year-old baby around…

The 37-year-old fashion designer is, after all, famous for being able to stick to a strict diet, especially so now that she’s just had a baby and needs to maintain her petite figure to fit into all her creations.

“I’m addicted to kale!!”

Victoria shouted out on her Twitter account, referring to a form of cabbage that’s high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, lutein, and calcium.

“wash, break into small pieces, sprinkle a little salt and roast, it’s so good and amazing for u!!! X vb”

No wonder Victoria Beckham is so thin. If we were as addicted to vegetables as she is, we’d probably all be a size zero today, too.

The “American Idol” finalist and Oscar winner earlier admitted she’d turned down the role of “Precious,” which eventually went to Gabourey Sidebe, because she wanted “a role that didn’t have anything to do with my weight” (and also because she didn’t want to get fat again after all her progress with Weight Watchers). Now she says she’ll willingly gain back the blubber to do a movie if the right role comes her way. What gives?

“When I do films, it has to be led by something through me — like my passion for it,”

Hudson said, trying to explain away her sudden change of mind during a book signing for her weight loss autobiography, “”I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down.”

“I just don’t want to hop into anything. So if I commit myself to something, then it’ll be worth it no matter what character it is.”

So why’d she decline the lead role for “Precious,” then?

“I felt it was too graphic for me at the time,”

Hudson continued.

“It’s something I didn’t want to do at the time, but I would gain weight in a heartbeat. I have no issues with that at all.”

A lady can change her mind, can’t she?

Besides, she did say one of her New Year’s resolutions was “absolutely no dieting!”

So where do we see Jennifer Hudson next? In a biopic for Aretha Franklin?

After shrinking to nearly half of her body weight, the “Dreamgirls” Oscar winner and “American Idol” finalist is shaking her head at dieting this 2012. Has she had enough of Weight Watchers, which she signed on to in 2010? Or is she disappointed her book chronicling her weight loss experience, “I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down” isn’t selling as well as Snooki‘s bestselling “A Shore Thing” and “Confessions of a Guidette?”

“First of all, no diets!”

Jennifer tells Fashionetc. in an exclusive interview.

“Please don’t do a diet. The best way is the healthy way, the natural way. I always say, if it can’t be done naturally it can’t be done by me. At all!”

Well, that’s the spirit. No Zantrex for this gal.

“You must always eat what you want,”

Hudson advices.

“When I’m like, ‘dang. I want my chocolate chip cookies and it’s 16 points,’ I’m going to eat at least half of it, but won’t have anything else.”

And besides…

“When I love something, and I know I [shouldn’t] eat it all, I love to feed other people.”

So, okay…if you can’t eat what you want, feed it to other people and snicker at the thought they’re going to get fat, not you.

Let’s hope Jennifer Hudson retains her whistle bait figure this year, because we sure as heck enjoy looking at her and marveling at how far she’s come…

Fans have been debating over the photo taken of the singer on her “Femme Fatale” mega-tour featured on V Magazine, and they’re claiming some art editor has taken a lot of sacrilegious liberties on their idol.

Sure, Brit-Brit has improved a great deal body-wise compared to a couple of years ago when she was in the midst of her meltdown, and pouring Cheetos and a cocktail of alcoholic drinks down her craw.

Since her conservatorship, she’s been working out really hard, and trying her best to stick to her diet, and while she looks healthy and fit enough, fans are up in arms at how suddenly svelte she is in the V Magazine photo above…

“Photoshopped a dillion!”

An outraged fan complained on a Daily Mail commentary of Britney‘s new lean look.

“That’s her head on someone else’s body,”

another continued.

“Even Ray Charles can see the terrible ‘Cut and Paste’ job that was done on Britney.”

Or maybe, as the tabloid surmises, the future Mrs. Jason Trawick, who’s been known for her yo-yo dieting, is simply trying to lose as much weight as she can leading up to her wedding.

The 49-year-old thrice-married mother of three opened up about her surprise when people actually started telling her being painfully thin was not attractive at all. Being preoccupied with her marriage troubles to her allegedly cheating husband, Ashton Kutcher, from whom she filed for divorce late last year, Demi didn’t even notice she was shrinking away to nothing…

“I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, ‘You’re too thin, and you don’t look good,’ “

Demi tells the magazine.

However, she’s come to accept the way she looks,

“and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin,”

she says.

I have had a love-hate relationship with my body,”

Demi further explains.

“When I’m at the greatest odds with my body, it’s usually because I feel my body’s betraying me, whether that’s been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn’t eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn’t get my body to do what I wanted it to do.”

But in the latter half of 2011, when she and Ashton were trying and failing to repair their marriage, Demi ceased to think about food at all, resulting in an almost skeletal-like appearance when she finally threw in the towel and filed for divorce.

“I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, ‘Only children can be abandoned. Adults can’t be abandoned because we have a choice. Children don’t have a choice.’”So I started to rethink,”

Demi reveals.

“I would say what scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved,”

She admits inner demons.

“That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me.”

And we guess that’s one fallout of divorce, and the fact that Demi‘s likely scared to be alone now she’s approaching the far side of middle age.

But, dang…she looks good, doesn’t she?

The 24-year-old reality star looks a far cry from her blowzy, messy self as she continues her journey of Zantrex diet pills and regular workouts. We bet she’s reached her 98 lb. weight goal already. Is she gunning for a lower number?

The question is, will anybody recognize her as the old Snooki when she rings in the New Year for the parties she’s been contracted to host in Las Vegas?

In fact, the only part of her that hasn’t shrunk with her combination of Zantrex diet pills and exercise are her boobs, so celebrity news is guessing that’s about the only part of her that’s overweight…

Unless it’s because silicone doesn’t fluctuate together with body weight?

Snooki, a.k.a. Nicole Polizzi celebrated on Twitter recently. She even admits to working out late at night, so obsessed she is with reaching her goal.

And how close is she to reaching it?

The way we see it, Snooki‘s going to be “whup-ass” fit enough to take on The Situation himself on a one-on-one when Season 5 of “Jersey Shore” airs January…

A source told the New York Post’s Page Six Magazine.

Meanwhile, star news has reported that Jess is giving in to her cravings at the drop of a hat and piling on the pounds to make sure she gives Weight Watchers their money’s worth. What better way than to give the company’s existing subscribers the kind of inspiration of having a huge and overweight celebrity mommy lose all that blubber right along with them.

But Jess, do think of the baby’s health while you’re at it, won’t you?

The “Glee” diva, who remains under the impression that “diva” is a complimentary term (it’s her theater background, you know), has denied reports of an eating disorder she’s rumored to have, claiming her weight loss is a side-effect of her recent jaw surgery due to an infection…

And if we add her veganism into the equation, that makes for a considerably diminished Lea Michele, as well.

“I’m half Italian. I can eat some bitches under the table,”

The 25-year-old quips.

“People get confused, like, you know, I just eat grass.”

Well, we’ve taken a look at Lea Michele‘s photos at Allure, and can we just say how ravishing she’s become. She doesn’t look like she’s deprived herself of food, either. Maybe it’s high time we all become vegans, too…

But the new lean and mean Snooki looks amazing. Her roller-coaster curves may have receded somewhat, but she actually looks younger, less harsh, and as far removed from an Ewok as could possibly be.

Hollywood celebrity gossip sites like it. We really do…

In September, Snooki reportedly lost a total of 15 pounds, and now it looks like she’s lost even more. According to Snooki, she currently sits at 103 lbs., but she’s targeting her ideal weight of 98 lbs. that’s just right for her 4’9″ frame.

Snooki must be laying off the alcohol a whole lot, which is probably why she looks so healthy and well-rested. And she credits her weight loss to the diet pill Zantrex-3 Fat Burner, kicking out her old diet of pickles, peanuts and pizza for a healthier one, and going on regular gym dates with her trainer.

Way to go Nicole Polizzi! Let’s hope you’ll be able to convince Deanna to travel the same path…

Snooki posted the photo (the one on the left) on her Twitter account with the caption:

The reality star, whose body has always been memorable for its rounded shape, revealed last month that her weight had gone from 126 pounds—which is considered overweight for someone as small as her—to a more svelte 108 pounds. She said:

“When I work out and eat right… I feel healthier and happier.”

But Snooki wasn’t always as smart about her weight loss practices. Back in 2010, she confessed to celebrity news that, at one point in her life, she developed eating disorders that whittled her down to a scary 80 pounds. The 4-foot-9 reality star recalled:

“In high school, I really wouldn’t eat… I would only have lunch, and I would only have salads.”

Snooki added:

“It got so crazy that I would only eat a cracker or a cucumber a day and I would feel full.”

Thankfully, her parents intervened. Snooki revealed:

“My parents told me, ‘You need to eat, this is very dangerous… So I gained my weight back to like 98, where I always was.”

LeAnn posted this photo of herself and her fellow diva backstage on Twitter this week,  where both she and Miss Piggy made an appearance at the CMA Awards…

This must’ve have been a pretty well coordinated celebrity photo shoot because here they are wearing similar sparkly dresses. The only difference is…and this is probably something LeAnn wants to emphasize pretty bad…is that Miss Piggy is…well, a pig.

And LeAnn wants us all to know that while she loves pigs, they’re not part of her diet and on the pain of death gaining an ounce of weight, they never will be. Which means despite the matchy-matchy evening frocks, so sorry, Miss Piggy, my dear…you”ll always be the heavier prima donna.

With that in mind, let’s hope LeAnn kept well away from her new friend’s pork chops. We’ve heard Miss Piggy is a blackbelt in some form of martial arts, and when she takes exception to something….heeeeeee-yaaaaaa!
