Chris Brown recently told MTV that he isn’t ready to date yet. Hm. We wonder if last year’s little under-the-radar indiscretion with Rihanna is holding back the romance potential. Well, according to Brown. No. It has nothing to do with that and he has his pick of women dripping off him. (Our words, not his).

Anyway, Brown told MTV:

Chris Brown got heckled on the street by a group of angry pedestrians. While Brown was strolling around in New York City, some woman spotted him and started yelling and cursing at the singer.

A woman could be heard screaming at the R&B star as he tries to make his way out of a Footaction store.
“Fucking beater,” she yells. “You belong in jail … you feel like a man?”

Chris Brown would like the Rihanna beatdown details to be kept “private.” Rihanna appeared on Good Morning America and was interviewed by Diane Sawyer about that fateful night last February when Chris Brown left her bloody and bruised. Rihanna talks openly about still loving Chris Brown after the incident partially as a public service announcement to other women who suffer domestic abuse.

Chris Brown sat down with MTV and said:

Chris Brown and Rihanna face off. Rihanna got to air her side of the story with Diane Sawyer this week, so now Chris gets a turn. Chris has an interview with MTV and both interviews will air on Friday night. Will anybody feel sorry for him though?

“Graffiti” hits stores nationwide on December 15th. This could be Chris’ big musical comeback after the February altercation and assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Oprah seems to have double standards when it comes to domestic abuse. Remember Oprah told Chris Brown he needed help after the Rihanna beat down and wouldn’t let him on the show to explain his side of the story? Well, Oprah did another song and dance for a different star this week…

Chris Brown is getting back to the music with his Powerhouse performance. Brown made serious musical comeback yesterday with the premiere of his “I Can Transform Ya” video and a headlining performance at  POWER 105.1’s Powerhouse ‘09 concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
