Daniel is apparently brutally honest—as evidenced by a recent interview with British GQ, where James Bond himself called the Kardashians a bunch of “f*cking idiots.” The guy speaks his mind, and he makes no apologies for it.

In another interview, this time with Men’s Journal, the British actor says:

“Politicians are sh*theads… That’s how they become politicians, even good ones. We’re actors, we’re artists, we’re very nice to each other. They’ll turn around and stab you in the f*cking back.”

But he doesn’t just end it with that. He then proceeded to rip into former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, whom he cites as a prime example for his rant. Daniel explains:

“Tony Blair started it much more than anybody’s ever done. ‘Go and have tea at 10 Downing Street. It becomes ‘Mephisto’ [a novel by Klaus Mann about an actor who ingratiated himself with the Nazis to obtain the role of Mephisto in Faust Part One]… You immediately are aligning yourself with a political party.”

…because if he doesn’t, he’s not a real man.

Well, that’s putting it bluntly enough. Would you point a finger and say 007 wasn’t a “real man” if he didn’t apologize immediately after calling your family “f**king idiots?” Because Daniel Craig did exactly that last month on  GQ UK magazine, bashing the Kardashians for selling themselves out to the public and they crying out for privacy…

“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f—ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions.’”

Craig is quoted as saying in the magazine. And Kris Kardashian isn’t having any of that.

“[He has] crossed the line. It’s not made him look like the world’s nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology,”

Kris told The National Enquirer, insinuating the English actor isn’t a “real man” at all.

“The easy thing would be to criticize his career now, but our family won’t stoop to that level.”

And star news thinks that’s exactly the kind of high road Kris Jenner should take right now, because why would the momager of a reality starlet cast aspersions on the character of an international A-list actor?

Oh, wait…she just did.

Daniel, who quietly married wife Rachel Weisz a few months ago, is all about privacy. He tells British GQ:

“I think there’s a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel… It’s not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it’s gone.”

He then goes on to harp on reality stars:

“You can’t buy it back — you can’t buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F— you. We’ve been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?”

And who’s the prime example of reality stars? The Kardashians, of course! Daniel rants:

“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f—ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions.’”

Ouch. It’s one thing to be insulted… but to be insulted by James Bond himself? That’s gotta hurt!

Marlohe follows Ukrainian model-turned-actress Olga Kurlyenko and English actress Gemma Arterton, who both starred in the 22nd Bond film “Quantum of Solace in 2008. Come to think of it, celebrity news kind of thinks Marlohe has the same look Kurlyenko has – a long, leggy doe-eyed brunette with a hint of the exotic.

Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes picked Marlohe from among a lineup of Bond girl hopefuls who screen tested at Pinewood Studios, and the as yet to be titled film is currently in pre-production.

Apart from Daniel Craig, who’ll be reprising his role as the brutal, granite-faced James Bond, Dame Judi Dench returns as his boss, M, and “Eat, Pray, Love” Spanish actor, Javier Bardem will be playing the bad guy, and in a new twist on the usually traditional Bond films, Naomi Harris will essay the role of the first black Moneypenny, M’s ever-loyal secretary who harbors a secret crush on Agent 007.

Another surprise: expect two “Harry Potter” stars to make an appearance. Ralph Fiennes, who played Voldemort, and Helen McCrory, who was Draco’s mum, Narcissa Malfoy will be playing top secret roles…that kind that, if we tell you, we’d have to kill you.

Craig best known for being James Bond, he was cast as the sixth actor to portray fictional secret agent James Bond in the film series. He made sure that he was in great physical shape for the movie. He made his début as secret agent 007 in the 2006 film, Casino Royale. For his role in the film, he was critically acclaimed, and nominated for a BAFTA award.

Daniel, 43 and Rachel, 41 married in New York city and the only guests were said to be Daniel‘s 18-year-old daughter Ella and Rachel‘s son Henry,4, plus two family friends who acted as witnesses.

The two were first romantically linked together last November and they both denied the Hollywood rumors but it became crystal clear that they were an item when they spent Christmas together in Somerset, England.

Rachel was with Black Swan director Darren Aronovsky for nine years and Daniel was engaged to longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for five years before their getting together.

Looks like the romance began on the set of the upcoming horror flick “The Dream House” in which Craig and Weisz play husband and wife. “The Dream House” hits theaters in September.

It must be love. Don’t you think these two make a very hot couple?

Current news reports this is the second time Bell and Craig have starred together in a movie, the first being the World War II flick, “Defiance” where they played two of three Jewish Belarusian brothers (Liev Schreiber being the third) leading a group of refugees displaced by Nazi Germany. This time around, Bell snagged the title role of red-headed TinTin, and Craig his nemesis, the pirate, Red Rackham.

According to star news, TinTin, one of the most popular comic strips in Europe, has been translated into 80 languages, with over 350  million copies sold during its run from 1929 to 1976.  It features the grumpy and be-whiskered Captain Haddock, auditory challenged Professor Calculus, and two bumbling detectives who go by the names Thomson and Thompson.

The Steven Spielberg-helmed, Peter Jackson-produced flick will also star Andy Serkis (Smeagol from “Lord of The Rings” to you), who stars as the belligerent Captain Haddock. Slated for release in November 2011, “TinTin’s” trailer can be viewed below…

The Bond hunk was silent during the whole script but was asked a lot of questions regarding issues being faced by today’s women including sexual assaults, domestic violence and pay inequality.The short film narrated by Judi Dench who plays “M” character in the James Bond franchise.

Agent 007 and Weisz hit hotspot The Box’ anniversary party on Valentine’s Day and got into heavy PDA according to a witness. The couple shared a table with Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborah-Lee Furness also Alan Cumming.

“They were adorable,” adds a witness. Once the band Scissor Sisters began playing, the onscreen and offscreen lovers left their table and “started dancing…and they were kissing!”

The spark apparently started while they were filming “Dream House.” The Oscar winning actress, Rachel, 40, announced her split from Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky last October after an eight-year relationship. They have a 4-year-old son, Henry together. Craig, 42, also split from his longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell in early 2010.

Pictures have surfaced today showing the pair, who star together in Dream House, laughing and holding hands while away together in Somerset, southwest England. The pair is reportedly staying in a $1,500 per week cottage together.

According to sources, the couple left the cozy cottage on Christmas Eve and headed to the local pub.
An onlooker said: ‘Daniel and Rachel looked like a romantic couple in a film. They were laughing and hanging on to each other’s words and stopping to take photos of each other.’

Daniel and Rachel, 40, were romantically linked last month after Rachel announced her split from her fiancé director Darren Aronofsky. A source close to Weisz said she was ‘head over heels’ for Craig and added: ‘Rachel and Daniel simply sparked during the filming of Dream House in Canada. They have great chemistry.

Daniel, 42, himself has also recently broke up with his  fiancée Satsuki Mitchell.

Reps for the former couple tell TMZ, “Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC.”

Sources are saying that Rachel and Darren will seek joint custody of their 4-year-old Henry Chance.

Sources tell TMZ that Rachel has been linked to Daniel Craig, the “James Bond” star for months. The two worked together on the upcoming flick, “Dream House,” in February and March of 2010.

These two are both fit, buff, intimidating men. But they had to deal with an obnoxious phone during the middle of a performance! According to Popeater, the actors can turn out lines while standing on their feet, and they were funny.

The actors are starring on Broadway in ‘A Steady Rain’ and during one performance last week, an audience member’s phone kept ringing, and no one would answer, TMZ reports.

Staying in character, Jackman and Craig masterfully dealt with the rude interruption, making the theater patrons laugh.

I don’t think I would want to make either of those guys mad! Look how many people they have killed in movies! I mean, they’re super heroes and super agents!

Daniel Craig, a k a James Bond, and Hugh Jackman, aka Wolverine, will team up in a new play this fall on Broadway, The Post has learned.

The drama, “A Steady Rain” by Keith Huff, is about two Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when they become involved in a domestic dispute in a poor neighborhood.

I wonder who will get to play the female lead in the show, because there has to be a female in it. Will it be a no name or will a Hollywood hottie step up? Name your guesses here!

Daniel talks about how his new role as James Bond has changed his life.  He also spills some secrets on what he would do with the movie to the Times Online:

I love the idea of putting Moneypenny in the film,” he says, to my surprise. “I’m dead keen to do it. And Q.” Moneypenny, to those few who may not have seen earlier Bond films, is the secretary who is always flirting with Bond, Q the Secret Service boffin who equips him with the latest spy gadgets. “But I work from the premise that there are millions and millions of people out there who never saw one of the earlier Bond movies. So they don’t understand the martini gag. Or the Moneypenny gag, which is a gag – it had ceased to be a character. So, let’s find out who she is. We can have fun doing that. And, don’t get me wrong, I’m up for a submarine base, as long as the gag works. The problem is that Austin Powers screwed everything up. He exploded the genre. Did I just say that? I did.”

I guess Mike Myers won’t be calling him to star in any comedy he writes any time soon.

Kurlyenko, 28, the gorgeous Ukranian born actress who played Camille, the Bond girl in Quantum of Solace said that the Bond girl casting lasted two and a half months and it started off with 400 girls. Wow, go figure it’s tough to be a Bond girl.

BILD.com: How difficult is the casting process for the role of a Bond girl?

Olga Kurylenko: It’s very hard and long-winded. The castings lasted for two and a half months. The first one was in Paris, and then I had to go to London twice and each time act out a different scene. At every meeting there were more people who had to look at me and give their ok.

Daniel was there at the last casting. At that point there were only a very few girls left. When I saw that, I knew that my goal of becoming a Bond girl was very close.

Quantum of Solace now playing in most European cities, coming to North America next weekend! The Bond film is breaking international records all over the places and it will undoubtedly be a big blockbuster in North America.

Quantum of Solace picks up where the last finished as 007 seeks revenge for the death of his love Vesper Lynd played by Eva Green. The movie opens with a car chase through the streets of Italy – that’s just very James Bond, isn’t it?

The new Bond film has two Bond girls – Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko as Camille, and British actress Gemma Arterton as Agent Fields.

So far the film has met with mixed reviews from critics but I would never fail to watch a Bond film, would you?

I think the Bond girls, Olga and Gemma are so much hotter than Eva Green in Casino Royale so that’s a big plus.  As for Daniel Craig, he’s got the most amazing body, doesn’t he? I am not so crazy about his face but he is very charismatic. Well, that makes him quite a Bond!

Don’t forget to catch Quantum of Solace in theaters from today in Europe and for our North American readers, you have to wait a couple more weeks to catch our 007 in action. But I tell you it must be all worth the wait, it’s James Bond, one of the kind!

I am a huge James Bond fan. I won’t miss it for anything. In fact, I would watch any 007 over and over again. It’s too good to be true. 007 gets all the girls and he gets the coolest cars in the world plus he gets to blow up everything. 

Here I am driving a car that desperately needs to be washed because I live in the real world.. and I love being in James Bond’s world at least for those 2 wonderful hours - hopefully that long. It reminds me of being Hugh Hefner not really living in the real world. You know him thinking he’s still Romeo?  

I don’t know if I found Daniel Craig that hot though. He’s got the body that’s about all. Oh… why do I always focus on the guys, it’s the women we are writing about here.. duh!

Quantum of Solace’s release date in the US is set as November 14th and is due to come out on October 31st in the UK and many places in Europe. A must see - it’s a Bond film!

Daniel agreed to be part of a silent auction with a couple other buddies from the movie and raised funds for a London charity. What he offered – a kiss!  The winning bidder will pay $38,000 to lock lips with Daniel.  Good thing it’s a co-worker, or kind of like his boss.  I’m Not Obsessed says one of the producers of his movie, Barbara Broccoli, was the winning bidder.  That’s a little awkward job moment.  I hope it’s worth it!
