How lucky is this guy’s girlfriend…

Dan went on the Spanish TV show “El Hormiguero” in Madrid to discuss his latest movie, “The Woman in Black”, and after much prompting from his host, the 22-year-old star just happened to show off a natural-born ability to fold his tongue into the shape of an “M,” much to the delight of the cheering studio audience…

Who’d have thought Daniel Radcliffe was so flexible in that area of his anatomy…and to think the talent didn’t need any swish of his 11-inched Holly with Phoenix feather wand.

Wonder if Dan makes use of this special ability to make girlfriend, Rosie Coker very happy…

Apparently, Dan wants to move as far away as possible from his “Harry Potter” image by admitting he’s been an alcoholic, and doing film projects guaranteed to scare the socks off us. But it seems that isn’t enough, because here he is trying to scrounge up a bromance with “Ides of March” star, Ryan Gosling…

“This year I have a talent crush on Ryan Gosling. I think he’s fantastic and…(ahem) you know he’d be nice afterwards. He seems smart. If I was gay, I would go for a smart man.”

Dan told Perez Hilton.

If he was gay.

Is Dan trying to tell us something here? That maybe after spending a whole chunk of his childhood and some of his early adulthood immersed in work at Hogwarts, he forgot to spend some time with his sexuality, and as a result is just now realizing his being hetero is a bit off?

Maybe Dan‘s trying to give us hints to prepare us for a future reveal?

Because he’s been spouting off about gay marriage, too:

“The ultimate reason gay marriage should be legalized everywhere is because, as a kid, you look to your mum and dad and they’re married, then you look at the gay couple who’ve been together for the same amount of time, but because they can’t get married their relationship doesn’t seem the same. Gay people should have equality in law everywhere. If you grow up as a young gay man knowing you don’t have the same opportunities as everyone else, you’re going to feel victimized and massive prejudice towards you.”

Should we be rethinking our whole impression of Daniel Radcliffe now?

Isn’t it enough that the final installment—“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”—became the highest grossing film of 2011 and the third highest grossing film of all time?

Well apparently, to Daniel, it isn’t. Because the “Harry Potter” star, who recently admitted that he was drunk most of the time while filming the later movies of the hugely successful film franchise, believes the film deserved more recognition—in the form of little Oscar trophies.

Radcliffe tells The Radio Times:

“I don’t think the Oscars like commercial films, or kids’ films, unless they’re directed by Martin Scorsese. I was watching Hugo the other day and going, ‘Why is this nominated and we’re not?’ I was slightly miffed.”

We understand where Daniel’s coming from, of course. After all, more than half of all the films in the “Harry Potter” franchise have received Oscar nominations, but none of them—as in none at all—have won a single award.

Daniel continues:

“There’s a certain amount of snobbery. It’s kind of disheartening.”

The “Woman In Black” star adds:

“I never thought I’d care. But it would’ve been nice to have some recognition, just for the hours put in.”

We definitely agree.

The former child star, who spent nearly half his life playing a boy wizard with a scar on his forehead, revealed there was a period when he was drinking nightly, and even came to the set still drunk to film scenes for the eight-movie franchise he’d starred in since he was 12. Wonder which scenes in “Harry Potter” had Dan reeling through them in an alcoholic haze…

“I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem. People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don’t want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily – I mean nightly,”

Radcliffe, 22, told British celebrity magazine, Heat.

“I can honestly say I never drank at work on ‘Harry Potter.’ I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes.”

Well, we’d drink too if we’re immersed in a world where a dark wizard known as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was gunning for our life since we were a baby.

“I can also be quite insecure. A lot of actors have self-doubt. I live under that the whole time, and it’s how I function best.”

He continued.

So does this mean he was under the same booze-induced fog while filming “Woman In Black?” Critics have been saying the film delivers a whole lot of scares, so we expect Radcliffe‘s in there somewhere operating on a full bottle of Jack Daniel’s, or something…

Or else…what? Is she going to use the Cruciatus curse on him?

And by house-trained, does Dan‘s girlfriend, production assistant Rosie Coker mean he should pee and poo in the bathroom and not anywhere else around the house?

Granted, she really isn’t asking for much. It’s not as if she’s demanding he put a ring on it…and she’s given him a wide window of two years! Some women we know would give a poor guy a couple of weeks, and he’s out. But then again, we’re talking about Harry Potter here, so we really don’t blame Rosie for giving the wizard who killed He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named some time to adjust to the Muggle world after six years in Hogwarts.

Seriously though, it seems Dan really needs to clean up his act. In an interview with The Daily Mail, he said Rosie‘s given him “a deadline of two years to be like a fully-functioning human being around the house.”

Apparently, more than a decade of playing a boy wizard hasn’t equipped Dan with the basic skills needed to look after himself. Domestically, that is.

“I think it means I have to be able to cook for myself better than I can at the moment,”

Dan said, trying his best to interpret what Rosie meant by “house-trained.

“And it means that I can’t leave the house in a state the way I do.”

Dan, whose new horror-suspense period film, “Woman in Black” opens in theaters in February, told star news he hasn’t promised Rosie anything, but…

“I have made it my mission to improve myself. There’s certainly progress to be made.”

he revealed proudly.

And how is he doing this?

“My mum’s here and she came round and tidied everything up for me.”

Ah. If all else fails, give mum a ring on the telly…and she’ll be there with her trusty vacuum cleaner before you can say “Alohomora!”

We all know that Dan‘s a rather private chap, and until recently, we were made to believe his one true love was his liquor cabinet. But since he’s emphatically confirmed his breakup with wine and spirits not too long ago, everyone’s been wondering who his rebound girl is bound to be…

Apparently this is she…

and we haven’t a clue who she is.

“I’ve got a girlfriend at the moment, who I am very much in love with,” the British star teased. “So, you know, we’ll see where that goes.”

Dan told Larry King on CNN. But he never gave us a clue to this horcrux her name at all.

Should we use veritaserum on young Dan to find out? Or should we just employ Legilimency on him when he isn’t looking.

We bet the whole wizarding entertainment world is aflutter with this juicy bit of gossip. So send us an owl when you find out, will you?

The only departure from the “Harry Potter” genre is that Radcliffe, sans glasses, wand and lightning bolt scar, will be playing a young lawyer whose wife dies and leaves him with a young son to raise, and as he sorts out the affairs of a deceased client in a small village, he becomes embroiled with a ghost and a deadly curse.

“It was certainly not a part that people can really compare to Harry… But [the] main attraction, to be honest, was simply the story, and how compelling it was, and being a part of a really, really good horror film.”

Daniel explains.

Well, Hollywood gossip websites are certainly glad he’s decided to take a hiatus from the stage to make another film, not that we’re complaining about “Equus”. Check out Harry Potter…er, we mean, Daniel Radcliffe‘s new paranormal horror movie and tell us what you think…

Or maybe he’ll be wearing them.

Dan‘s told star news he swiped the spectacles he’d worn at the first ever “Harry Potter” film (“Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone”), and the spectacles he was wearing at the very last one (“Deathly Hollows”).

“It’s a moment where you just have to let yourself sit back [and say], ‘This is pretty damn cool! This will never happen to me again… This is a one off.”

Well, no. We don’t think something like “Harry Potter”, which took up a decade of his life, will ever happen again. Not with Dan‘s admission of alcoholism.

Now that Harry has sober up.. There’s a world full of Muggles waiting on you…

According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Rancliffe sat down with British GQ and talked about his previous booze battle:

“I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff,” he said. “There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.”

The young actor said he hid it so well from the media and his fans; and he was lucky not to have been photographed during one of his booze-fueled nights out on the town.

Not to worry, Daniel has gone cold turkey since August 2010 when he realized he had a problem.

“I’m actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I’m really pleasant and I’m not f***ing up totally all the time.”

“As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn’t work for me,” he told GQ.

It’s so cool of him to admit, isn’t it?  We all fail along the way, don’t we?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 hit theaters July 15.

Daniel appeared on CNN for their Potter special and told Larry King:

“I’ve had such an amazing time on Potter… and it’s been such an extraordinary experience to work with. It’s actually the same group of people for 10 years. You develop such close bonds with so many people it feels odd that, although those bonds will still exist in the future, it feels very strange to not be going back to work with them next year.”

The British actor admitted:

“[It was] very, very emotional. I remember I kind of wept like a child on my last day.”

However, despite his child-like weeping over the end of the ‘Harry Potter’ films, Daniel doesn’t think doing another book or movie is a good idea. He explained:

“I think that would be a bit odd… I’d be very skeptical about that. First of all, I don’t think that [Rowling] will [write another Potter installment] and second of all, oh, I don’t know, the idea of going back to something after 10 or 20 years?”

Regis has always said what he thought and not worried about the consequences sometimes.

On ‘Live With Regis and Kelly’, Daniel Radcliffe of ‘Harry Potter’ fame announced an upcoming gothic horror flick called ‘The Woman in Black,’ causing Regis Philbin to worry that Radcliffe might join the ever-growing ranks of actors who play vampires.

“You don’t play a vampire, do you? Please don’t! I’m so sick and tired of vampires!” Philbin shouted.

“No,” replied Radcliffe. “There’s a lot of other people that, kind of, got that area covered.”

So I guess the Twilight cast won’t be coming on when they have their new movie out…right! Good thing Regis is retiring soon.

Daniel said in an interview, “I thought it was going to be like a soft, sensual sort of moment, and it was this very vigorous kissing scene,” “She really went for it, I have to say. It caught me slightly off guard, but yeah, I’m not complaining. Many men would lose a limb to be in that position, so I was absolutely fine with it.”

The Simpson’s Halloween episode has been huge for years. This year, it actually gets to air on Halloween! From Buddy TV:

In the episode titled “Tweenlight,” Lisa becomes smitten with a new mysterious, pale, brooding student, Edmund (get it, not Edward). Edmund (voiced by another pop culture phenomenon: Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe) has a dark reason for his appeal, he’s a vampire. Lisa falls for Edmund and the pair run away together to “Dracula-la Land” (I don’t get the reference). Homer sets off to rescue Lisa before she gives in to Edmunds charms completely and turns into a vampire herself.

I wonder if Robert and Kristen Stewart will watch the spoof of their wildly popular movies. Probably not. Are you going to be watching the Simpson’s spoof?

Discussing his decision to work on stage show ‘Equus’, he said: “We knew it was important to start the process of separation while the ‘Potter’ films were going on rather than trying to branch out at the end and expect people to see me as something else.”

However, the British star does believe he will always be associated with the character, and is “grateful” to have had the opportunity to play Harry. 

Daniel told Total Film magazine: “‘Harry Potter’ is responsible for every opportunity I’ll get for the rest of my life and I’m going to be forever grateful.

“I may occasionally get annoyed by a drunk person in the street shouting, ‘Harry!’ at me in the street but on the whole it’s not an issue. And it’s part of my job – it’s what I signed up for.”

The first half of the final movies in the series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1′ is released in November.

Well, we all so saw that coming, didn’t we? Daniel is afterall 21.

Probably a lot of listeners. If you don’t see the screaming girls all over him, you would probably all guess it was a woman.

Daniel Radcliffe just cleared up some confusion about Justin Bieber’s gender.

“I only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago,” Radcliffe told MTV News. “I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I’d never heard it before. Is it big in England yet?”

Radcliffe admitted he is “out of the loop when it comes to pop culture” but he is a big fan of Lady Gaga’s.

Well, it was an honest mistake. At least he didn’t know Justin was a boy and deliberately call him a woman after seeing him. Have you ever made a gender mistake on someone?

Reports say RPattz was paid $2 million for playing the role of Edward Cullen in the original Twilight and for the sequel New Moon, he was paid a whooping $12 million dollar. That’s just the first two installments. However he’s still a LONG way to catch up with Daniel Radcliffe, the Harry Potter boy wizard. Radcliffe, 20 is worth about $60 million (42 million pounds) At 20, you really don’t have to be tall, dark and handsome, you’re this loaded,  you bet Daniel gets the girls.

As for RPattz, at 24, I say the flying vampire isn’t doing too shabby neither!

As for height wise, there’s no competition in that department, RPattz is 6 feet 1. Radcliffe, I am not sure, some reports say he’s 5 feet 5, some say 5 feet 6 or 7.

Doesn’t it make you want to be a star? If you’re young and determined, the sky is the limit.

I guess Daniel is rich enough to afford the habit, but it is illegal! From the Mirror:

The screen idol, 20, earlier lit up the joint in front of guests and repeatedly took deep drags. He also walked around the flat blurting out: “I love weed.”

Wadia added: “I was surprised by his behaviour.

He is a kids’ favourite. I’m not sure what his fans will make of it.”

Yet just last year the £30million actor insisted: “I’ve been around some amazing people and still managed to keep a real childlike view of the world. I’m not into drugs.”

Oh boy. His words have come around to bite him in the bum! Daniel, don’t start down that road. Just look at Lindsay Lohan if you need an example as to why!

For all the money he has, Daniel has his head on straight. There isn’t any parties, clubbing or drug binges where he has been caught. Kudos to him! From One India:

The accounts for his company, Gilmore Jacobs Ltd, show that he earned about 750,000 pounds in just five months last year. However, he insists that he is not really interested in money, and remains determined not to let it change his life.

Daniel Radcliffe also has used some of his money to buy homes in New York and west London.

How did this boy get his head on so straight? Daniel is not the norm and we so need many more actors like him who aren’t in it for the money. Or at least be convincing when they say it!
