DANIEL RADCLIFFE stars as a lead in another thriller and portrays the gay poet, ALLEN GINSBERG, in his upcoming movie, “Kill Your Darlings.”
Daniel Radcliffe is undeniably “the boy who lived” after the Oscar nominated Harry Potter franchise, as he’s proven that he is no one-hit wonder, especially in “Woman In Black.” Next on his list? “Kill Your Darlings” where he plays the geeky and openly gay, father of American beat poetry, Allen Ginsberg. Needless to say, the part is nothing like his previous portrayals but given his Broadway theater cred, we do not dare doubt that the multi-talented actor’s upcoming movie will be epic!

Isn’t it enough that the final installment—“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”—became the highest grossing film of 2011 and the third highest grossing film of all time?
Well apparently, to Daniel, it isn’t. Because the “Harry Potter” star, who recently admitted that he was drunk most of the time while filming the later movies of the hugely successful film franchise, believes the film deserved more recognition—in the form of little Oscar trophies.

The former child star, who spent nearly half his life playing a boy wizard with a scar on his forehead, revealed there was a period when he was drinking nightly, and even came to the set still drunk to film scenes for the eight-movie franchise he’d starred in since he was 12.
