Darlene opens up to Inside Edition, “I’m cleaning houses,” She’s been struggling financially ever since the restaurant she owned for 21 years in her native Crested Butte, Colo. went out of business.
Darlene says some of her employers recognize her from The Hills.
Heidi Montag called the cops on her mother. Sorry for the double Hills post (remember: it’s the last season, we can rest easy soon) but this story was just too ridiculous to pass up. So, apparently Heidi Montag called the cops on her mother earlier today. We reported yesterday that Speidi are living in filth and holed up in their disgusting apartment, and today Montag‘s mother, Darlene, made a house visit.

Heidi Montag’s mother is afraid of her face. As we all know, Heidi Montag got a second round of nips and tucks after Thanksgiving and unveiled a plastic-looking face on the cover of People a few weeks ago. While it’s heartbreaking and scary for an outside observer — imagine being her mother.

Heidi Montag confronts mom over surgery…on camera, of course. When Heidi and Spencer weren’t in front of those cameras for two months, we should have known what was coming! Even Heidi’s parents were left out of the loop…and they weren’t too happy about it.

Heidi’smom said she was horrified over the news of her daughter’s surgery. So, with the MTV cameras tagging along, Heidi hopped a plane and went to see mom. From People Magazine:
Spencer Pratt recently joked to reporters that he had visions of Heidi’s mom Darlene Egelhoff murdering him in his sleep. Although the remark was tongue in cheek, Spencer and Darlene have had a toxic relationship. Darlene even went so far as to say she thought Spencer may have drugged Heidi so she’d agree to a quickie marriage in Mexico.
