The former spouses split in 2010, but everyone always believed that there was still a chance that they could get back together—even after David filed for divorce last year.
And it really seemed like there was a chance, especially after Courteney called him her “best friend in the world” and said that she still loved him during her appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in January.

Come to think about it, the former couple have managed to keep their friendship since they stopped calling each other husband and wife and officially separated in 2010–even when David was going out with his rebound girlfriend Christina McLarty.
The latest celebrity news tells us that COURTENEY COX has also filed legal papers as her response to DAVID ARQUETTE‘s divorce petition… and she didn’t mention a prenup.
