David and Victoria Beckham are staying in LA. David and Victoria decided they won’t be leaving their LA home no matter where David plays soccer. That means the kids – Cruz, Brooklyn and Romeo – will be American bred boys. Look out girls!

David admitted he is freaked out that the boys have American accents. But it’s not as bad as living in England had been apparently. From the Mirror:

David Beckham wants a Wolverine beard. Maybe we know what David is going to be for Halloween now – a cartoon character! People thought the beard was a superstition since his team was headed towards the playoffs. You know, because wearing a beard during a sporting event brings good luck.

David Beckham promotes California…with Arnold Schwarzenegger. David agreed to do some work for the California tourism industry and filmed the shots over the weekend. But David wasn’t wearing his Galaxy uniform and Victoria wasn’t anywhere in sight.

David wore a regular T-shirt and shorts and kicked a ball off the beach and in to the ocean. Maybe shirtless David would have attracted more attention? According to E! Online:

David Beckham was exposed to the swine flu over the weekend. David has two teammates and two LA Galaxy staff members who have been confirmed to have the virus. One of the teammates happens to be a close pal of David’s. Victoria, grab the Lysol!

David played a game over the weekend – OK, he got kicked out and suspended – but he played and was in close proximity with the players who complained of flu symptoms. From the Examiner:

Shaquille O’Neal calls out David Beckham. Actually, he calls David scared to face the Shaq. That’s funny, because I seem to remember just a few short weeks ago David was ticked off enough to want to take on a whole crowd in an arena. And Shaq thinks David might be scared?

David has made a return to the LA team after recently completing a stint in Milan. The crowd of Galaxy fans weren’t too pleased to see David. It got on his nerves when they booed. From MTV:
