The gorgeous footballer shows off his sexy chiseled bod on the cover of ELLE UK’s July 2012 issue as the first ever solo male cover model.

As to why he was chosen, ELLE’s editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy explains:

“David Beckham is a national hero… He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike.”

She adds:

“Anyway, who doesn’t want to see a picture of one of the world’s most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine? It will be a collector’s issue.”

No doubt about that!

But despite the fact that he has the face of an angel and the body of a god, Beckham admits that he’s actually pretty shy. He tells ELLE UK:

“How would I sum myself up? I don’t know, I prefer other people to do that. Erm…a little bit shy. I don’t know what to say. I hate describing myself.”

Just like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who had to lock lips in front of the crowd at the Lakers vs. Spurs game last month, the glamorous Hollywood couple was singled out by the Kiss Cam during their date at the Staples Center.

After a big smile from David and an embarrassed fit of giggles from Victoria, the couple reached out to one another kissed amid the deafening applause of the audience.

Got you there! We doubt the forever-poised Victoria would ever let herself get photographed grabbing her man’s genitals in real life… but this is a pretty good alternative!

Victoria, who has been making the rounds at New York Fashion Week with baby Harper Seven, took a break from her fashion escapades to pose with a new billboard at 8th Avenue & 34th Street… a gigantic billboard that features the sexy, super-chiseled bod of David Beckham in nothing but a pair of H&M briefs.

David himself posted the photo on his Facebook page, along with the caption:

“So proud of my wife taking #NYFW by the balls”

The incident happened when Beckham attended a game at his younger son, Romeo‘s club, and got into it with a referee who sent one of the seven-year-old players off the field due to a penalty. That got the L.A. Galaxy midfielder’s gander up real good, and he started in on the ref over the unfairness of his call…

“I was watching the kids play the other day, it was the younger kids of Romeo‘s club, and there was a penalty given, and the kids are seven years old and he sent the kid off. And I was like, ‘Come on, he’s seven, referee, you can’t send him off.’”

Beckham vented on The Jonathan Ross Show in London.

It seems the referee considered himself the king of his own field and was having none of it from the famous footie.

“He looked at me and was like, ‘Yes, I can.’ And he came over and gave me a red card. He told me to get out of the park. For real. The gate was only 20 yards away and I waited and went back in when my son’s game was on.”

Pretty decent of David Beckham to take up the cause of a kid not even his own, and get ejected off the field by some snooty ref. Guess he just won the hearts of a whole league of future football superstars who’ll look back on this incident with pride and fondness in their hearts…

No more Kim Kardashian arching her prominent behind to sell shoes. All you’ll see is the Becks revealing his new H&M men’s underwear fashion line in his tighty-whities, and not much else. Bet you Victoria Beckham‘s gritting her teeth the whole time knowing the whole world will be ogling her man’s chiseled and tattooed bod come February 5…

We also bet no one’s going to notice that Madonna will be performing at half-time after the L.A. Galaxy midfielder’s commercial is played on the wide screen.

According to a statement David released earlier, he and his design team spent a total of 18 months developing his H&M collection.  Hmmm…it takes that long to design a line of men’s skivvies and underwear? Maybe Beckham personally tested each one. In that case, can we get a pair to sniff?

Yep. The British footballer has told celebrity news that he still has all of his own hair, despite recent rumors that his thick, glorious mane is the product of a recent hair transplant.

Beckham, who recently bared his gloriously chiseled body in his new H&M underwear ad campaign, tells Telegraph:

“Someone said I’d had a hair transplant… there’s definitely nothing wrong with doing that, but I don’t think personally I would.”

He adds:

“I’ve still got hair. I’m still fighting it!”

But what’ll he do when he does start losing his hair? The athlete says:

“If I do start showing signs of going bald, then I will shave it off.

In fact, despite still having a full head of hair, David had been planning to shave it all off and go for the skinhead look… until his wife Victoria stopped him. He shares:

“She said, “It looks so good at the moment. Don’t do it.” I was like, “OK.””

Bald or not, David Beckham has nothing to fear. He will always be gorgeous.

Fierce glare notwithstanding, the English football midfielder can bend us backwards anytime he wants.

David, 36, is currently a free agent now, with his five-year contract playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy having expired last November. So what better way than to spend his time of brief freedom before some other team signs him up again than to parade his mouth-watering bod in his tighty whities for all us drooling broads…

Hollywood rumors had it, that after a huge 2011 MLS Cup championship victory, David and Victoria were packing their family off to Paris where the Becks was said to be hopping over the fence to the Paris Saint-Germain team. But the reports were incorrect.

“David Beckham is not coming,”

French soccer team president, Nasser al-Khelaifi, confirmed.

“We feel a little disappointed. But both sides agreed it would be better that we not do the deal.”

Looks like David Beckham is parking his hard and tattooed bod in Los Angeles for the time being. Is he considering taking Tom Cruise up on his offer and teaming up with him in a movie soon?

Tom Cruise and David Beckham have been pals for years, and in fact, Hollywood rumors has heard Tom‘s been questing for the perfect script for Beckham and himself to co-star in a movie together now that he perceives the English football celebrity’s sports career to be slowing down…

“I’d love to do action movies with Beckham. He would be great, he could kick ass,”

Tom Cruise told the London Mirror.

What are you betting David would kick Tom‘s ass first and “bend him like Beckham” before he consents to do a Hollywood movie?

After all, the midfielder hardly needs the money, having a personal net worth of $175 million. Unless of course, he contemplates segueing to a Hollywood career to keep himself in the limelight. But would he?

Still, Tom Cruise says his offer’s still open, but on one condition:

“David would have to teach me to play soccer first,”

Cruise said.

This isn’t the first time Becks went undercover for his good buddy Ellen. Last year he was a hunky masseuse at a massage parlor who specialized in index finger physical therapy. This time around, he plays a personable, if rather clumsy salesman at a Target perfume counter where he tries to tempt customers to buy his own perfume…

Celebrity gossip websites and everyone on Ellen‘s live show were doubled over with laughter as David bent it like Beckham and sprayed his khaki-clad kneecaps with perfume for Target customers to sniff.

“Actually, it smells better on my leg,”

David beguiled a couple of women, adding

“I’m from Australia.”

Back in the studio, Ellen fed David his lines to the guffaws of an appreciative audience.

“Do I look like David Beckham?”

David asked a small crowd of women gathered around his counter.

“I wish. I’m not David Beckham, so stop spreading rumors.”

He even broke into song, calling upon a lady in red to try some of his wares, adding

“If you stink, come buy cologne…”

and spraying the scent into some male shoppers’ faces.

Well no, they’re not dipping the little princess in the precious liquid metal…but they’re taking casts of her tiny hands and feet and having their physical representations cast in 24K.

Is it just us or do the Beckhams have no other thing to do with their money?

So their cherished fourth child and only daughter will be joining the ranks of celebrities like Elton John, Jonathan Ross, and Joanna Lumley who’ve had one part or another of their anatomies cast in gold.

Entertainment news thinks Harper Seven is one lucky kid. Let’s just hope her gold-cast extremities don’t bring up any resentment from her older brothers Brooklyn, Romeo,and Cruz.

If we had a hold of casts like those, we’d be whistling our way to the pawnshop.

The four-time parents are ecstatic about the new addition to their family, especially as they finally have a girl after three boys.

The photo caption on David‘s Facebook wall photo said, and 100,489 people (and counting) approved of the image of these two beautiful females in repose.

Celebrity news notes David used his signature black and white photography technique – the same one he employed  taking Victoria‘s very pregnant belly while she was unaware and taking a nap in their backyard.

Clearly, the doting dad’s got a talent for photography, which would make a nice fallback career when he gets too old for football.

And we think Victoria and Harper Seven would made great models for his camera…

“We’ve had four kids – no more.”

“I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx”

Hollywood rumors are still speculating on the origin and significance of Harper Seven’s name, but meanwhile, her brothers Brooklyn Joseph, 12, Romeo James, 8, and Cruz David, 6, will now have a little miss to complete their sibling foursome.

The Beckhams have been married for twelve years. This will be the gorgeous couple’s first daugther, they are parents of three handsome young boys: Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6. No name has yet been announced.

According to Hollywood gossip news, the Beckhams turned to their sons for name ideas; initially they had thought it’d be another boy. Their son, Romeo is a big fan of Justin Bieber; he suggested the name “Justin Bieber Beckham!” Aww! But their parents rejected that idea outright!

Other baby news, Kate Hudson and her fiance Matt Bellamy have also welcomed a baby in Los Angeles. Kate gave birth to a healthy baby boy last night.

Congratulations to the proud parents.

Celebrity news knows how thrilled the Becks is to finally have a girl after three boys one after the other, and we hope it won’t bring down Victoria‘s already unsmiling face once she finds out what he’s done. Or has she already?

Either David‘s a consummate professional photographer, or there’s a lighting team that hangs around in the Beckham‘s backyard for just these kinds of surreptitious photo ops. Great pic, though, eh?

Entertainment news today states that David was in his Black Cadillac when it took exception to the gold Mitsubishi that had pulled over due to engine trouble. The driver inside was wearing a seatbelt when David‘s car rear-ended him. Was Beckham hurt? Nope, not a scratch. His son, Brooklyn, who was with him in the car, wasn’t inured either.

Neither was Beckham cited or arrested for ramming a stationary vehicle.

Whatever happened to all those lightning fast football reflexes, David?

A source close to the pair let the news leak today that the Beckham‘s will welcome a little girl this fall.

David Beckham allegedly told his many fans at an LA Galaxy press conference this afternoon.

This will be the fourth child for the couple. They have three boys: Brooklyn, 12; Romeo, 9; and Cruz, 6.

David says he doesn’t plan on having a tattoo just sometimes he wakes up, he’s got an idea  and he wants it on him. He says all his tattoos have special meanings to him.

Victoria  broke the news during a trip back to London last November over a romantic meal at home.

“She started a conversation about their future as a family and whether it should be in the UK or US, ” a source says. But when he said they have three children to think about, she smiled and said ‘four’. “He told her he couldn’t have wished for better news. He’s so happy, he can’t stop crying!”

Victoria, 36, reportedly told their three boys about her pregnancy on Christmas Day prompting fresh tears from David again. How sweet David!

The couple have reportedly asked close friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay to be their forthcoming baby’s godparents.

The Beckhams alreay have three smart looking sons: Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5. Perhaps hoping for a baby girl? Kids are all so precious regardless of their sex.
