Yep, Tea and David have reconciled—again. The couple has already separated twice (and reconciled twice) during the 12-13 years that they’ve been married. According to RadarOnline.com, Tea and David were spotted driving around together in Malibu on Sunday.

The ‘Californication’ star and his wife Tea tied the knot in 1997, and then separated in 2008, after David announced that he was going to enter rehab for sex addiction. That same year the couple reconciled.

Tea and David announced their second separation on June 29, but it appears they’ve now resolved their issues and are both still willing to save their marriage.

Why can’t Hollywood couples be more like this? Nowadays when celebrity couples get into a bit of a rough patch, they immediately run off to file divorce.

Isn’t it refreshing to see a Hollywood couple that is actually fighting to save their marriage?

Duchovny and Leoni split briefly when he was busted to have cheated on her back in 2008. David checked himself into rehab for sex addiction but shockingly, the couple was able to ride it out and got back together despite their brief separation at the time.

The couple has 2 children together; a 12-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. Let’s hope it works out best for everyone especially the kids.

Bono, 50, the lead singer of U2, besides earning himself numerous awards and nominations including being nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize award, Bono really should be included in the Guinness Book of World Records. He started dating his wife, Ali Hewson in 1975 when they were both attending the same school in Ireland and has been married to Ali since 1982. So you can see not all marriages end in divorces even in La La Land.

Kevin Costner, 55, the tall, often tanned Academy Award actor just became a daddy again this year, Costner is a father of seven kids. At 55, he’s still very handsome, isn’t he?

While Pattinson may not be a shock, Duchovny revealed a quirkier taste in gentleman as well:

“If I were gay, you know. I think Woody Allen is one of a long list of men I might go gay for…Garry Shandling is someone I’ve publicly gone gay for, for jokes. Oh and anyone in the Twilight movies. I don’t know any of their names, but all of them. The wolves, the vampires? They’re all fantastic.”

Bravo. I wish more straight-ish actors would have the balls to confess their same-sex crushes.

The couple were on the rocks when it was announced that David had a sex addiction. There were also rumors that Tea had stepped out with Billy Bob Thornton a few times, causing even more rift in a tense marriage.  But now they seemed to have solved their problems.  From Star Magazine:

The romantic scene would have been inconceivable last October, when the pair (they have two children, daughter West, 9, and son Miller, 6) announced they were separating, due in part to David’s admitted sex addiction.

David, who plays a sex-crazed writer on his critically acclaimed Showtime series, Californication, announced in August, “I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

We wish them the best of luck as their reconciliation seems to be working.  It’s nice to see that David and Tea can move on and try to work things out – not only for their sakes but for those of their children!  Good luck!

I am not going to deny it. I don’t know what our relationship means to him. I wasn’t instantly attracted to him. What is great about David is his intelligence and kindness. He is the sort of person you get to like more the more you know him.’

Ouch! I wasn’t “instantly attracted to him” but it was his “intelligence and kindness” that made her her panties slip off? That’s the nice way of saying she thought David was uuugly, but his sex addict stench had an unusual effect on her. Expect legions of women to appear out of the woodwork with similar stories in the coming weeks.

But unlike an addiction to a substance—where you can stay away from bars, cigarettes, and drug dens—a sex addict is addicted to, well, people. Imagine all the temptation in a rehab with dozens of others just like you?

He’s said some questionable things in the past regarding his appetite for the sexy times. In a Playgirl interview in 1997:

I am not a sex addict…there was another story claiming I was a neat freak. If I had to choose one of the two, I think I’d rather be a sex addict. It’s not funny and I’ll be glad when it goes away.”

I’d probably rather be a sex addict too. Neat freaks must deep clean, organize and dust for hours on end daily. A sex addict just needs a little something-something on the down low for a few minutes. I don’t have time to be a neat freak.

Duchovny released a statement late Thursday asking for privacy for his family.  His family includes actress Tea Leoni, whom he has been married to since 2007.  They have two children together. 

So, my question is – can he still star in the show Californication after he leaves rehab?  Seems like it would be kinda…bad for him.  This instance of life imitating art is too sad…especially since there is children involved. 

What does a sex addiction entail anyway?  Internet?  Mistresses?  Magazines?  Someone explain!

Did you know Duchovny is very academic? He graduated from Princeton University and he also holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Yale University.

Before X-Files, David first appeared in a Löwenbräu beer ad in 1987. He’s been starring as Fox Mulder on F-Files since 1993.

As for his personal life, he’s been officially married to Téa Leoni since May 6, 1997.

On August 28, 2008 David Duchovny has checked into an addiction rehab center rehab to undergo treatment for sex addiction, E! News has confirmed. “I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” Duchovny said in a statement released Thursday by his attorney, Stanton “Larry” Stein. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”
