AVRIL LAVIGNE was recently spotted getting cozy with ex-husband DERYCK WHIBLEY while vacationing in France, according to the latest celebrity news. Her boyfriend, BRODY JENNER, was nowhere to be found.
The two were on a boat trip with some friends on the French Riviera, and a bikini-clad Avril was photographed affectionately hugging her ex-hubby, Deryck. The former couple (or maybe not so “former” anymore?) was all smiles as they chatted with each other.

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley was attacked in Japan. If you aren’t a fan of Sum 41, you may know Deryck Whibley as the ex-husband of Avril Lavigne. Deryk and his band played the Summer Sonic Rock Festival in Tokyo and went out to a bar after the concert.

Avril Lavigne and Deryk Whibley have split up. Avril and Deryck were married three years ago in Montecito, California. They met in 2004 and were engaged by July of 2005. No sources are spilling on what may have caused the break-up and neither of their reps have confirmed the allegations that Us Weekly is printing in its most recent issue.
Sources for the couple, however, are coming out of the woodwork and saying Avril was the one who wanted out.
