Diane followed up her risky outfit at the “Les Adieu a la Reine” photocall earlier that day with another risky outfit—a black Giambattista Valli gown with flowing sequins and a puffy, shrug-like polka-dot top.

The fashion-forward actress finished the look with a silver belt and an animal print Judith Lieber clutch.

As for styling, Diane went with a classy topknot and soft, natural makeup.

Yay or nay?

Diane usually shines on the red carpet because she’s never afraid to take fashion risks. But did her latest risk pay off?

The blonde beauty wore a green, printed 10 Crosby Derek Lam dress with a black and white striped pencil skirt, which she paired with a pair of bright orange strappy sandals.

Diane completed her look with beachy waves, soft brown eye makeup, and old rose lipstick.

We do like the dress, but the few inches of green fabric that’s showing from underneath the striped skirt makes it look a bit weird.

Diane was red carpet perfection—as always—in a yellow and gray halter twist Prada gown, which she accessorized with House of Lavande bracelets and a bright pink satin clutch.

The “Inglourious Basterds” star completed the look with a messy updo, shimmery brown eye makeup, and bright pink lipstick.

We love how the clutch and the lipstick, which are both in the same shade of pink, give a fun contrast to the lemon yellow and gray tones of Diane’s dress.

Overall, it’s a gorgeous look. But we do have one complaint—her hairstyle looks a bit weird from the front… it’s maybe a little too messy.

Diane can usually be counted on to “bring it” on the red carpet, and the Unicef Ball was no exception. The “Inglorious Basterds” star wore a black Emilio Pucci halter gown, which featured lace appliques on the bodice and a tiered skirt with layers of lace and a sheer bottom skirt underneath.

She paired the dress with red satin Brian Atwood pumps, a gold clutch, and gold dangle earrings.

As for hair and makeup, Diane opted for a slightly messy ponytail, shimmery bronze eye makeup, and pinkish nude lips.

This might be useful news to her boyfriend of five years, Joshua Jackson. Anyway, she told the magazine:

“I was married very young [to French actor and director Guillaume Canet]. We were together seven years. Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don’t believe in marriage. I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There’s no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning.”

Well, better to stay single than have another Hollywood divorce.
