Dita has a huge following, especially overseas where burlesque dancers aren’t so taboo. Why not add commercials to her growing resume.

Dita Von Teese, the new spokeswoman for Perrier got really into pitching her product in a recent ad. She stripped down to flesh-colored and black lingerie and–oopsies!–poured the bubbly water all over herself. Don’t worry, Dita, we’ve got the dry cleaning bill covered.

Geesh. Will this ad only alienate her from the Americans, who she already called prudes or will it make her better, because the men will suddenly like Perrier?

After all, Dita is the most in demand burlesque dancer in the world. Why would she really care about Americans, when she can perform just about anywhere else. From Fox News:

even though she’s practically considered royalty across Europe thanks to her chic, choreographed dance/stripping routines, she can’t understand why so many in her native America still have so many reservations toward “burlesque” as an art form.

“I don’t mean to America bash, but it is interesting that burlesque is an American invention. Burlesque as we know it and the great burlesque that was prevalent in America in the 30’s and 40’s in big theaters with big stars that were in the movies and on TV and wrote books.

Dita does have a point. We created it, then prevented it from becoming mainstream. Just like a lot of other things Americans do!

Dita is seen exercising a lot, but she still has curves. She doesn’t appear rail thin, but maybe she is in person. She says via Contact Music:

“I was a bit of a party girl in the early ’90s and used LSD and Ecstasy. Eventually my weight dropped to 6st 7lbs and I looked terrible, so I gave up drugs. My breasts never recovered, so when I was 21 I had 32D implants. Now I’m a healthy 8st 2lbs.”

That’s still only 114 pounds. I guess she doesn’t look that thin to me. Dita’s surgeon did beautiful work though…you wouldn’t guess hers were fake, would you?

Dita started a new show called Cointreauversial in LA. Clever! And she has something special to go along with it, according to Hollyscoop:

For those who are wondering Cointreau Teese is a complex blend of cointreau, apple juice and violet essence served in a violet hued martini glass with subtle hint of ginger around the rim and garnished with Edible violet flower.

Dita designed the cocktail through interviews and tastings with Cointreaus mixologists in Paris. In order to guide the creation of a drink that reflects her true tastes perfectly. Los Angeles is one a few exclusive cities around the world to which Dita featured the “Cointreau Teese.”

I bet stars all over LA are wanting to make their own drink now. Lindsay, Paris, Megan….who do you think deserves to create their own alcoholic drink? Would you drink Dita’s drink?

Of course, the real kicker that nobody can get over is the fact Dita is 12 years older than Count. The pair went to the Coachella Music Festival last month, and according to Page Six sent horrified shockwaves.

“We’re all shocked they’re together,” a pal of Castelbajac told us. “She’s really robbing the cradle.”

So, do these celebrity couples do this on purpose? Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher? Demi’s ex Bruce Willis marrying his zygote? Can we add Marilyn and Dita to the list now too?

According to Page Six:

“He’s been in touch a little. The apologies come, and he was like, ‘I made a big mistake,’ ” the raven-haired stripper tells Inked magazine. “And I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I know. Go ahead and say what you need to say to feel better and to sleep at night.’ “ Von Teese isn’t letting any grass grow under her feet. “Right now I’ve got three [guys],” she says. “They’re all in different parts of the world . . . That’s my biggest sin juggling men.”

That ain’t a sin! Go ahead, Dita!

Dita has been in the US for awhile, doing small projects and working on her Wonderbra campaign.  But she won’t be living the slow life anytime soon.  According to Reuters:

“I feel that Paris is a place that still appreciates its showgirls,” she told Reuters in an interview before a two-week run at the celebrated Crazy Horse theater from February 1.

Von Teese, a familiar figure at the Paris couture shows, has carved a peculiar niche over the years, leading the way as burlesque has grown from simple striptease to becoming an established part of the fashion world.”

Dita was very classy and wore clothing on her Playboy edition.  Katie did not and looked like it should have been a Hustler edition.  No class there…and dare we even mention her…breasts?  Look at those enormous, unnatural things!  Yuck!

This is what Katie says about Dita’s cover via The Sun:

“Although I just saw Dita Von Teese’s cover and it’s crap. The woman is rank. It’s not my cup of tea that she’s so pale. I think the pictures look a bit Readers’ Wives.

It didn’t look like Playboy to me.”

So far, Dita has not responded.  But I bet she could go at it like a brawler.  Who do you think would come out on top?

Dita has been working like mad and promoting herself like crazy since her split from ex Marilyn Manson.  maybe he held her down too much – what do you think?  Besides his obvious weirdness and fetishes, do you think he is disturbed all the time or it’s an act? I’m up in the air.  He seems to know music, but I can’t get past all his shock stuff to listen or watch him.

Dita, on the other hand, seems classy and smart.  I don’t see how these two ever hooked up.  Bild has the preview of her uncut Playboy spread.

See, Dita was married to weirdo Marilyn Manson for two years.  The freak who wears everything black and sings shock songs just for shock value.  Dita divorced him when he cheated on her.  Marilyn picked up Evan – who was only 19 years old at the time – EWWWWW! – to his almost 40 years.

Evan is a natural strawberry blonde.  Look at her before and after pictures, then compare them to Dita.  Who do you think can’t get over the loss of Dita?  Not Evan…..

Prince Charles was introduced to Dita Von Teese over the weekend at the Cartier Polo event.  He must have been taken by her beauty because he asked what she did.  Being the ever gracious girl, she replied she was a dancer.  She didn’t mention it was burlesque and Charles didn’t ask.  Instead, he said, well, my boy likes dancers, so come to his birthday party!

Oops.  Dita herself looked embarrassed – probably because she knew he couldn’t afford her price tag – and didn’t say anything.  The Daily Starsays Royal staffers informed him exactly what she did a few minutes later and the Prince appropriately turned red.

As for mainstream movies, Dita has acted in a few & She is due to appear in the upcoming feature movies Saint Francis and The Boom Boom Room, both expected in 2007.

Dita is a peacock?? Something like that and then she was in a bird cage! What happened the peacock shed hair and got locked up in a bird cage? Hmmm.

Von Tesse isn’t new to stripping down to her lingerie as Dita performs live burlesque shows, and has graced countless magazine covers including Playboy, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. You know Von Tesse was married to Marilyn Manson? 

PETA’s new ABC campaign tackles the issue of companion animal overpopulation and urges people to do their part by taking simple steps to help end this crisis.

In her ad, Dita urges fans to “bone up” on their ABCs and, if they are considering adding a dog or a cat to the family, to adopt from a local animal shelter and be sure to get their new family member spayed or neutered.

Do you have a pet? If not adopt one! 

The first two minutes of the promo features Manson and the 19-year-old writhing around naked, having passionate sex, with many of the celebrity gossip websites believing the couple actually made love for the cameras.

Wood insists the video perfectly captures the closeness of her relationship with Manson.

Seriously, I wonder if she freaks out at night looking at Manson or even during the day as the matter of factness. Do you think Manson removes his makeup at night? Hmmm.

We don’t talk about Manson being kinky because he’s definitely in the star news as being one of the kinkiest.

Manson and his estranged wife Dita Von Tesse were rumored to have split up because Mr. was cheating with the teen.

There is something very special about Dita Von Teese, Von Teese is a classic beauty in many many ways. Now how on earth could Von Teese ever got together with Marilyn Manson? I would be scared to wake up seeing his face, won’t you?
