Well… facially speaking, it’s a long shot. Justin looks nothing like him. But hey, we all know movie makeup and special effects can do wonders, right?

But whether Justin plays him or not, Elton says a biopic is definitely “in the works.” The singer tells the Los Angeles Times:

“We’re making an announcement about that very, very soon. We have a director on board, and then it’s just going to be a matter of getting the script exactly the way we want it.”

And when asked who he wants to play the lead role of, well, himself, Elton John admits:

“I’ve got a wish list of people. No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of “Rocket Man” and was superb.”

Elton John told Barbra Walters:

“When you get to the real person under there, there’s a real simple person under there who loves her parents. Zachary’s going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, ’cause she sure knows everything about the business now.”

Since Katie wasn’t having any luck, she even tried for a few women. But then, Katie was reported to have consumed a lot of alcohol, so she can blame that.

“She was so drunk she was slurring her words and trying desperately to kiss any man who would listen to her for more than 30 seconds.

“She even tried unsuccessfully to kiss some women. In the end she went off with some guy she had just met. He obviously didn’t know who she was.”

But not one to take things lying down, Katie took to twitter to try and set the record straight. She wrote: “Great night celebrating oscars and very successful week. led astray so sore head! Apparently to The Sun this is evidence of my meltdown.”

How embarassing. But then, Katie has had some whoppers in the past and she just bounces right back. She’ll probably come out smelling like a rose for awhile…

He tells Rolling Stone:

“Billy’s a conundrum. We’ve had so many canceled tours because of illnesses and various other things, alcoholism. He’s going to hate me for this, but every time he goes to rehab they’ve been light. When I went to rehab, I had to clean the floors. He goes to rehab where they have TVs. I love you, Billy, and this is tough love. Billy, you have your demons and you’re not going to get rid of them at rehab light. You’ve got to be serious. People adore you, they love you and respect you. You should be able to do something better than what you’re doing now.”

Billy Joel – for the record – has dismissed these claims saying he loves Elton John too much to allow them to affect the friendship, but ultimately writes them off as “random.”

The “Family Shield” is most likely normally used for scantily clad women on laddy magazines, and the liberal media lambasted Harps today on the Internet for making gay adoption seem dirty.

After being featured on hundreds of blogs and Twitter feeds, Harps issued a statement saying they received customer complaints about the cover but have since removed the gray shield. The store CEO went on to say they had no intention of offending anyone shopping at their stores.

There was no apology – do you think there should have been? Do you think Elton John and David Furnish will react to this?

Elton’s always been flambouyant, but the CL Pres says via Hollywood Gossip:

We’re not sure what’s worse—John’s ignorance or intolerance. In any event, if we thought we could persuade him to issue an apology, we would try. But given his recidivism, we won’t even bother to ask. One thing is clear: someone needs to straighten John out.

They also say:

Jesus was certainly compassionate, but to say He was “super-intelligent” is to compare the Son of God to a successful game-show contestant. More seriously, to call Jesus a homosexual is to label Him a sexual deviant.

So, I guess the church is calling Elton a deviant?

 There wasn’t bloody body parts, but there was dirt, fierce piano playing and a lot of hot looks thrown over two grand painos towards each other. Could you get any two bigger artist on the stage together? Probably not…there hasn’t been anybody as wild as Gaga in a long time…and Elton was the master of it decades ago.

Elton John told Vibe (via The New York Daily News) magazine:

“I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly…I’m there if people want my help…If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it.”

At his worst, Eminem was taking between 10 and 15 pills of Valium and Ambien a day, and almost overdosed on methadone.

Elton John said: “I made the mistake of not having sex until I was 23! I loved being with another man and felt relieved that I finally knew who I was. I made the mistake of falling in love too soon because I was naive and romantic. My advice to you is to never chase love. It will find you when you least expect it. Have fun, have lots of safe sex and enjoy your sexuality. Be proud of who you are.”

Elton reveals his sex regret and other mistakes when he was asked to write a letter to his 16-year-old self, to offer advice on how to be happy in life.

 ”I made a lot of mistakes. Stay away from drugs, they’re a waste of time. Stand up for every human being’s rights. Be loving, kind and strong. Set an example. You’re going to have one hell of a life!” – via ABS 

Drugs are definitely BAD stuff! We all make mistakes, the most important is not to keep dwelling in the past or repeat the same mistakes that hurt us over and over again, right? Here I am playing Oprah again.

The evening started out nicely with the pair reading scripts and announcing awards/introducing stars.  Then it went downhill, faster than Lily was drinking champagne.  Yeah, she filled her glass in the middle of the show and continued to drink, getting more tipsy each segment. 

Once she began slurring her words, Elton called her on it.  He even suggested she was a drunk, to which she replied, F*(& Off, Elton.”  He smirked at her and then said he could snort her under the table.  That referred to her suspected coke habit.  Ouch.  Not a nice exchange and the audience sat in stunned silence, taking it all in.  Did Lily just kill her career or what?  No response, but she may be headed off to rehab…
