Carrie Underwood sings a Christmas duet with Elvis Presley! You read that right – he’s dead, she’s not, but they sing together. On a Christmas album and released just in time for your shopping weekend! It seems that Priscilla Presley wanted Carrie to sing.
This is what Carrie says via Just Jared:
“Priscilla actually asked if I would be part of the project, so when Priscilla Presley asks you to sing with Elvis, you do it.”
Kanye West won two American Music Award albums last night, one for favorite rap/R&B album (“Graduation) and one for favorite rap/R&B performer. He now thinks he’s the next Elvis Presley. Big mistake AMA. Give Kanye any kind of positive encouragement, and it’s a slippery slope into delusional-land. This is what he blurted out, high on his own awesomeness.

Elvis Presley’s birthday celebration started after midnight and Presley was born January 8th, 1935 would have been 73 years old today!
(( At one minute past midnight Monday, the Elvis Presley Fan Club will continue its tradition of meeting at the gates of the late Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion for his birthday celebration. They will sing familiar gospel songs and, of course, Happy Birthday to Elvis.
