Meet Nicki, everyone!

Emma Watson traded in her Hogwarts cloak and wand for tattoos and Uggs in her new movie “The Bling Ring,” a movie based on an infamous group of teenagers—which includes former reality star Alexis Neiers—who made headlines in 2009 for a string of robberies of various celebrity homes, including those of Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Shia LaBeouf, and Orlando Bloom.

Yesterday, the British actress posted a photo of herself as her character Nicki on her Twitter, which she captioned:

“Twitterers meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers : ) @blingringmovie”

Emma added:

“Nicki likes Lip Gloss, Purses, Yoga, Pole Dancing, Uggs, Louboutins, Juice Cleanses, Iced coffee and Tattoos. @blingringmovie”

Hmmm… she sounds like the complete opposite of Hermione Granger.

Emma, who was linked to British reality star Francis Boulle in 2008 and her “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” co-star Johnny Simmons, whom she dated last year, got cozy at Coachella with new boyfriend Will Adamowicz, whom she reportedly met at Oxford University.

The new couple looked adorable as they cuddled and exchanged kisses while enjoying the bands at the star-studded event.

And while Emma‘s fans may have to wait a little while longer to see her in her new film, “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower” (it’s currently in post-production and release has been pushed back for fall), at least we’ll get to see more of her in these series of artsy photos in the magazine that focus on her piquant profile  and expressive eyes…

Watson exudes bohemian chic in the photos, and looks really good despite the absence of any feminine frippery. She poses in one shot wearing only a man’s shirt loosely buttoned, and sits on a window sill and backlit by the light steaming through. She also poses in an old-fashioned clawfoot bath tub, which amazingly enough seems to have become the favorite staple prop of many celebrity photographers these days.

“Wallflower” is her second post-Harry Potter film, the first being 2011′s “My Week with Marilyn,” starring Michelle Williams where 21-year-old Emma played a minor role as Lucy, a wardrobe assistant who has a few dates with the main character, Colin Clark.

In “Wallflower,” her first starring role, she plays a high-school senior, Sam, who, with her stepbrother, Patrick (Ezra Miller) introduces freshman, Charlie (Logan Lerman) to a world of sex and drugs.

In his recent interview with Heat magazine, Francis opened up about his “fling” with Emma. The “Made In Chelsea” star admits:

“We had a bit of a thing a while back, but I have always been an ambitious person and I want to achieve my own notoriety for what I’ve done.”

That’s quite understandable, right? He wants to earn his fame—he doesn’t want to just ride on the coattails of the girl he’s dating. We totally get that. The thing is, his next comment seemed to be an insult to Emma. He adds:

”That’s why I chose not to pursue it any longer, because I didn’t want to be the boyfriend of some child actress.”

Um… excuse us, Francis, but it seems like you’re downplaying Emma’s achievements just a smidge. She isn’t just “some child actress,“ because obviously “Harry Potter” concluded when she was already in her 20s, and she already has a Hollywood film coming out in 2012.  So, by that logic, it’s safe to assume that she’s definitely not just a “child actress.”

Emma, who is currently dating her “Perks of a Wallflower” co-star Johnny Simmons, was linked to Francis back in 2008, after they were spotted flirting heavily at a Cartier polo match.

Emma, who’s trying to find a niche of her own in Tinseltown after the end of a decade of  “Harry Potter”, says she’s under the impression Hollywood expects her to project a certain image, and given that she’s spent 12 years playing the singular character of bushy-haired nerd, Hermione Granger, perhaps she’s finding it difficult to segue into the glamorous film star everyone expects her to be.

“I don’t have perfect teeth, I’m not stick thin,”

Emma tells entertainment news.

“I want to be the person who feels great in her body and can say that she loves it and doesn’t want to change anything.”

Having been trapped in her Hermione persona for so long, she even went as far as cutting her hair dramatically short and accepting film projects where she only plays second fiddle, like in “My Week With Marilyn” with Michelle Williams essaying the title role.

“It’s ridiculous that [loving the way you look] seems such an unrealistic goal,”

Emma continues. And she’s even succumbed to the pressure of expectations by taking on a racy role in another upcoming film, “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower”.

“I think the actresses who are really successful are the ones who are comfortable in their own skin and still look human.”

We agree, too. Give it time, Emma…we think you’re already on your way to finding yourself…

Emma unleashed her inner rocker chick in a red and black plaid McQ by Alexander McQueen dress, a black leather jacket, and a pair of black Christian Louboutin “Pigalle Spike” pumps.

The short-haired “Harry Potter” star kept the hair and makeup simple—her usual slicked back hairstyle, light eye makeup, and nude lips.

How romantic!

Emma and Johnny jetted off to Europe on Tuesday and traipsed around the City of Light for most of the week, enjoying visits to museums, sightseeing, and of course, the shops.

Johnny obviously really likes Emma, as he spent hours and hours trailing happily along as she indulged in some major retail therapy—and he even helped her pick out some stuff!

According to People, Emma’s purchases include a t-shirt emblazoned with a neon pink-toothed tiger, a neon pink belt (which Johnny picked out, to go with her shirt), a black wool knee-length coat with leather sleeves, a gray metallic wool sweater, an assortment of scarves, dresses, and more.

Overall, the former “Harry Potter” actress spent 2200 Euros (or $3,200) on her clothing purchases.

Emma and Johhny reportedly spent over an hour at the Maje boutique on rue Saintonge, looking through clothes (and engaging in some PDA). An employee revealed:

“She did her own shopping – she knows what she likes… She picked out outfits and he made some suggestions, picking out items which she tried on in the dressing cabin, then coming to model for him.”

The employee added:

“They seem very in love, very cute.”

Aawww… seems like things are going really well for these two!

Emma and Johnny, who both star in the 2012 film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ were caught piling on the PDA at a restaurant in Santa Monica on Thursday. An eyewitness shares:

“[Emma and Johnny] looked very loved up… Holding and hugging each other for a while and playfully kissing. [They] seemed very open and not trying to hide their affection.”

The new couple’s romance started on set in rural Pennsylvania, where their movie was filmed. While they were there, Emma and Johnny were photographed talking a leisurely walk together after a workout session, which sparked rumors of an onset hookup.

Emma and Johnny were also spotted together at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty on June 6, where they were reportedly inseparable.

Finally, a guy who isn’t intimidated by the lovely Emma Watson! Score!

Emma enrolled at Brown in 2009, and then dropped out earlier this year to focus on filming the last Harry Potter film—not because she was bullied, as previously reported by celebrity gossip websites.

According to reports, Emma will go to Oxford University in the fall for a semester before returning to Brown.

“The world has only seen her basically in one role—a pretty conservative, sweet, smart character, which is great. But this one, she pushes the envelope in a different way than anyone’s ever seen her, which is really great. It’s a great role for her.”

So what’s next for the now-adult Harry Potter stars after this?

When asked about his kiss with Emma for the second part of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ Rupert admits:

”It seemed like the most unnatural thing to do, to kiss this person I’d known since she was nine… It took a while to get into it and put our friendship aside.”

The British actor adds:

“It’s quite full-on, a proper snog… We’re soaking wet as well; they dumped gallons of water on us and then we just went for it. We laughed a lot and it took us a while to concentrate. We did it about four times.”

Well, saying “unnatural” isn’t as bad as saying she kisses like an “animal,” which is what co-star Daniel Radcliffe told celebrity news back when he was asked what it was like kissing Emma.

In her interview with Seventeen magazine, Emma confesses that she was head over heels in (puppy) love with Tom, who plays Harry Potter’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy. She says:

“For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton.”

Emma adds:

“He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.”

Aaww. How adorable. But why didn’t they start dating when they were a little older? Surely Tom wasn’t intimidated by gorgeous Emma—as other guys seem to be—since they practically grew up together.

In the July 2011 issue of Vogue, Emma shared the problems that were caused by her decision to attend Brown University while she was still filming the last few ‘Harry Potter’ films. She explains:

“I have felt for the last 10 years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle… I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”

Desperate for an education, Emma told Warner Bros. that she was not coming back for the two-part ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ films unless they arranged to work around her school schedule—and of course, they eventually gave in. She says:

“I just realized at one point that I can’t fight everything. I have to move in the direction of it — and go with it.”

In the interview, Emma also talks about meeting James Franco—who is also currently juggling his budding acting career with school—and her relief at being able to talk about her situation:

“It was such a relief to speak to someone who is trying to do the same thing I’m doing… I talked to him about juggling studying and making films and going backward and forward. He’s not afraid or limited by what he fears people will say about it.”

Emma recently dropped out of Brown University, but she admits that she doesn’t regret standing up to Warner Bros. and becoming the focus of their annoyance:

“I’ve probably earned the right to screw up a few times… I don’t want the fear of failure to stop me from doing what I really care about.”

Good for you, Emma!

Emma is beautiful, stylish, famous, and extremely rich. Plus, she’s never been the center of any controversial or scandalous celebrity news pieces… which makes her practically perfect, right? However, in reality, these superlative attributes are most probably to blame for the ‘Harry Potter’ star’s nearly non-existent love life. She says:

“It must be the fame wall… It must be the circus that goes around me. Me, as a person, I find it hard to believe I would be intimidating.”

And even more surprising, Emma shares that sometimes these curiously strange—and possibly brainless—guys even make fun of her:

“Sometimes, perhaps because they are intimidated, they feel they have to knock me down… They know perfectly well who I am, but say, ‘How are the Narnia films going?’”

Poor Emma. Maybe she should start hanging out with equally successful people who won’t be intimidated by her awesomeness?

Well, Watson would like us all to know those stories are all rubbish. She released the following statement:

“I felt the need to let you all know the reason I took a semester off from Brown had nothing to do with bullying as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life and certainly never at Brown. I hope you all liked the new Harry Potter trailer. I am off to Pittsbugh soon to start The Perks of being a Wallflower.”

So perhaps it is just work keeping her out of the university. Good to know. Thanks for the update, Emma!

According to several sources who attended class with her, Watson was often the head of the class and answered most questions correctly. Classmates, they say, would then taunt her with “Three points for Gryffindor!”

Is it true? What did Watson have to say about this?

“No. Actually, I’m really glad that he asked. That has never happened to me. Maybe someone said it under their breath, but I’ve never, ever had anyone say that when I’ve been in a class.”

So what work is Watson keeping herself busy with? Well, the Harry Potter final installment hits theatres in July, so she’ll likely be busy doing press this summer.

The partnership comes at a good time: Watson recently shared that she’s taking a break from her studies at Brown University to focus on her “other professional and acting projects.
