Farrah Fawcett’s omission from the In Memorium at the Oscars was not accidental. Farrah and Bea Arthur were both left off the montage that highlighted 30 of Hollywood’s stars, crew, agents and whoever else belongs to the Academy. After complaints, however, the Academy explained it wasn’t an accident.

Farrah Fawcett died today. Farrah lost her battle to rectal cancer in Los Angeles, California. Fawcett‘s long-time companion, Ryan O’Neal was at her bedside. She was 62. Fawcett is best known as for her role as Jill Munro in the Charlie’s Angels franchise.

Farrah Fawcett: A look back in time. Farrah Fawcett’s family and friends are being called to her bedside to say their final farewell as Fawcett is said to be clinging to life. Extra has reported that Fawcett has been given the last rites by a priest; Farrah has always been a devout Catholic. She is reportedly in intensive care unit at a hospital right now.
