Jennifer, who’d just won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role of Effie in “Dreamgirls” was given the opportunity to turn out another award-winning performance as the 300-lb. illiterate and obese 16-year-old single mother living in a dysfunctional and abusive home.

Gabourey Sidibe is a “joke” in the fashion world. Or so says some silly “insider” who claims Gaby will never cover a fashion magazine because she’s too large. While it was a semi-slap in the face Gaby wasn’t included in the Vanity Fair ‘Young Hollywood’ cover (no ethnic actors were), one of Anna Wintour‘s chilly peons said the actress is a joke amongst the snide and snooty because of her size. What is is this? High school?

Gabourey Sidibe was offered a year long subscription to weight loss pills. The company, AssaiSupply.com, issued her a letter saying they were worried about her health and that she ought to consider weighloss for that reason alone, not her image. However, they did add in a snarky comment alluding to the fact that she’d need to lose weight in order to win an Oscar.

Howard Stern went on a tirade about how Gabourey Sidibe doesn’t have a future in Hollywood. In his usual flinchingly blunt manner, Howard lamented to sidekick Robin Quivers that Gabourey is too fat to ever work again. Stern and Quivers think she’s finished in show business due to her zaftig frame.
