Former Spice Girl Geri was booed by audiences in Glasgow and criticised for being “mean” to the wannabe stars recently.

One source said: “It all started well for Geri and then she blew it. She was quite mean. Even the other judges were a bit taken aback by some of her comments. She even outdid Simon Cowell. Some people were saying, ‘Thank God she’s only a stand-in.’ “

I can’t believe that Geri would be mean! She seems like a nice person. What do you think happened between Geri and her fans?

It’s Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice) enjoying her holiday in the South of France with daughter Bluebell Madonna and boyfriend Henry Beckwith.

Have you ever wondered why she named her daughter “Bluebell Madonna“? Geri’s mother told her that bluebell, a precious flower is increasingly rare which seems just right for her daughter. Her daughter’s middle name came from two of her heroines, the Virgin Mary and Madonna, the singer. Interesting enough. At least she didn’t name her daughter Blackberry or iPhone just kidding.

How’s Bluebell Madonna for a name? Very different, no?

Henry was out clubbing Saturday, without Geri, when he decided to get a bit of air outside. Then he proceeded to pull out the coke, except police were right there. From the Daily Mail:

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘We can confirm a 31-year-old man was found with a quantity of white powder in Paulton Square where he was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug.’
He was later cautioned after being taken in handcuffs to Chelsea Police Station just before 2am on Sunday morning.
A source at members-only club Raffles told the Sunday Mirror: ‘Beckwith is a regular and was here partying in the early hours of Sunday morning.
‘He was seen going outside and around the corner, where he was searched by the police.
‘Raffles has a strict policy on drugs – anyone found with them in the club will be banned.
‘I’m sure Geri wasn’t too delighted he had been arrested for drugs.’

Geri not only has her reputation to consider, but she has a three year old child at home! Do you think Geri will kick him to the curb or can he reform?

At 37, Geri looks amazing, doesn’t she? Not sure if you knew last year, Geri published a book series named Ugenia Lavender. They are children novels. Geri has a 2 and a half year old toddler daughter named Bluebell Madonna! Hmmm, not sure if you like the name Bluebell Madonna but I am sure she’ll get her rounds with the kids at school, you think?

Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) was not present and it is believed that she is busy launching her Spring/Summer 10 collection at New York Fashion Week.
It is understood the foursome continued negotiations at the nearby Mayfair Hotel, where they enjoyed several cocktails.
Mel B later hinted imminent reunion on her Twitter account: “Spice girls, stadiums?????????? Had dinner with the amazing melc emma and geri I love them so much (sic). – via Bang Showbiz

Here’s how Geri, 37 stays this fit! She does yoga. Yoga helped Geri stay in shape. In fact Geri has her own yoga DVD available for purchase in case you want to try it out. It’s called Geri Yoga with Kate Appleton.

I need to get myself in shape too perhaps I should pick up one of these. I never thought yoga can help you lose weight and stay in shape - My ignorance as usual.  See the thing is I don’t really need to lose weight, I just have to turn my fat into muscles. It’s nice to think like that, isn’t it?

Beckwith is a cousin of English socialite Tamara Beckwith.

According to Deanpiper: “Geri’s not doing boys for the meantime. But that’s not to say a girl can’t have a little bit of fun is it? She’s enjoying getting out there and being single now. The problem is if she goes on a date then there’s paparazzi.”

Geri seems like a flighty person to me.  Maybe it was the goofy costumes she used to wear on stage with the Spice Girls.  And what can you expect from a woman who names her child Bluebell Madonna? But she does have a history of breaking men’s hearts.  From The Sun:

But the relationship crashed after Geri — according to a source — “woke up one morning last week and decided she just wasn’t the marrying type”.

The insider added: “She loved being in a relationship but decided that all she needs is her daughter Bluebell to keep her happy.

“Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri’s wishes.

“Her friends are not surprised — Geri has a track record for getting cold feet.”

That’s too bad.  He looked like he could have been good for her AND Bluebell.

So what do you think? Feeling better? Hey this must make most of us feel terrific to know that the very rich and famous also have cellulite! Cellulite is ugly, we all know that but did you know that it’s not related to being overweight. And men don’t get cellulite, darn, isn’t that just plain unfair? Research says 90% of women get cellulite at some point. Now that’s so unfair, isn’t it?

Geri has quite a string of men in her past.  She’s never been married and only dated the father of her daughter Bluebell for a short period.  According to The Sun:

They have only been together a few weeks for God’s sake, having just met in December at a Florence nightclub.

But the Italian stallion has wasted no time in making an honest woman of Geri.

Just as well on the honesty front, as Geri wasn’t very truthful when Bizarre asked about the good news after Christmas.

She denied it then, and has been wearing gloves a lot recently — something to hide perhaps? — but in a statement yesterday Geri’s management firm 19, said: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi.

At least it isn’t just US celebrities that lie to the press too.  It’s a worldwide phenom!  And isn’t the comment about gloves funny!  Duh, it’s winter time, everyone is wearing gloves.

Congratulations Geri and Fabrizio…hopefully this one will last.

Lebeldev has taken charge of Halliwell’s surprise 35th birthday party. As well as paying for the sumptuous event, he has, say friends, been showering Geri with expensive gifts.
