Hugh Hefner admits to giving Bridget and Kendra the axe, just days after he admitted everything was fine, but in transition.  Why the change of heart?  Ratings, baby!  Season 5 of The Girls Next Door premiers next week and they want BIG numbers.

So why the sudden revelation?  The secrets that Hef wanted Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson are being spilled by other people.  And they weren’t supposed to be until AFTER season 5 was nearing the end, because they lead in to season 6.

It seems that Kendra was able to stay under the radar until now with her boyfriend.  He happens to be a football player from the Philadelphia Eagles, Hank Baskett.  Several sources say she is engaged to him and has been for a while, but this is what Kendra says on her MySpace blog:

Every few months it seems the rumor of Hugh Hefner marrying Holly Madison comes about.  This time, the rumor appears to have been started by one of the other girls in the mansion itself, Bridget Marquadt.

OK! Magazine claims they have an exclusive where there will be a huge wedding next season on The Girls Next Door.   Bridget and Kendra will be moving out – which we’ve been hearing about Kendra moving on for months – and Holly and Hef will tie the knot.

Now Kendra Wilkinson – one of Hefner’s girlfriends and Playboy bunnies – is speaking out.  Her blog raises a few more questions than Holly’s did about being a feud at the Playboy Mansion…
