The Girls Next Door Sacked due to Credit Crunch

Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner has been advised to cut back on staff at his multi-million dollar Playboy empire as it struggles to cope during the global economic turmoil. Hefner, 83 has been told to lay off some of his staff at his Los Angeles and New York offices as soon as this month or go bankrupt as reports by Telegraph.UK

The company has recently seen shares fall from $12.4 (£6.20) to $2.1 (£1.55). An insider at the company told the Daily Star that bosses had been aware of the worsening situation for “a while”.

“Only the top brass has known for a while how bad things have been for Hef recently.”

Spokeswoman Elizabeth Austin would not confirm the sackings, saying: “It is our policy not to comment on corporate matters such as employee issues.”

The news will be another blow to Hefner who recently discovered that two of his “bunnies” may have been cheating on him.

Holly Madison, who has previously been named as Hefner’s “No.1″ girlfriend, is alleged to have had an affair with magician Criss Angel and another bunny, Kendra Wilson, is reportedly dating football star Hank Baskett.

I guess nothing is recession proof except Walmart, right?

So why the sudden revelation? The secrets that Hef wanted Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson are being spilled by other people. And they weren’t supposed to be until AFTER season 5 was nearing the end, because they lead in to season 6.

WWTDD reveals some shocking secrets such as Kendra IS engaged and Bridget is leaving the show. They will both leave at the end of season 5 and season 6 will be spent finding their replacements…which has ALREADY started. Holly remains ‘with’ Hef for the time being.

The most shocking part of the story remains that Bridget claims to not have had sex in THREE years! She and the Hef never did ‘it.’

Hugh Hefner still insists he’s screwing dating the girls next door. Hefner shot down reports that Holly Madison has been seeing Criss Angel. “Holly shares my bed on a nightly basis,” Hef said. The Playboy founder just told E! Online that he is very much still dating Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

God bless America! We all live our dreams and naturally so does Hefner! It’s nice to believe, isn’t it? How old is the dude? He’s 82, right? They do have a lot of medical inventions these days to help the elderlies but I still don’t see how those three women could be doing him day in and day out? Or worse yet, the other way around. Let’s not be cruel, Hef’s got an image to maintain. He’s THE Playboy then and he’ll be the Playboy if he lived up to 100 at least that’s what he thinks anyway.

Hefner does acknowledge that the relationships are “in transition” though.

“Are there going to be changes in the relationships, I’m sure there are going to be,” Hefner said. “I think that in the future, the girls are going to, in time, be dating others and moving out of the mansion, and when that happens we will not be keeping it a secret,” Hefner said.

It seems that Kendra was able to stay under the radar until now with her boyfriend. He happens to be a football player from the Philadelphia Eagles, Hank Baskett. Several sources say she is engaged to him and has been for a while, but this is what Kendra says on her MySpace blog:

“hiiiiii just wanna let yall know that i am not engaged! if i was id be very happy though n i wouldnt hide it..hahahahaha!!!!! rumors are sooooooooo fuckin funny. yaa trickk yaaaaaa lololol!! Love is a beautiful thing n i think the world needs more of it. lol..”

So, she says she isn’t engaged, but she throws love out there…is she covering up?? On Sunday, she was in a private box in Philadelphia watching the game.

THREE New Girls Next Door Spinoffs

Hugh Hefner let a HUGE cat out of the bag yesterday! He not only confirmed that Kendra Wilkinson – one of his girlfriends – was getting a spinoff, but hinted that Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt were getting their own shows too. Can you imagine THREE more Playboy Bunny shows?

Hugh confirmed to E! Online there were more things coming….AND season six for the girls. What else can you do with a Playboy Bunny besides show a lot of cleavage, watch them pose for pictures and hear Kendra’s annoying laugh? Who would have guessed they’d last five seasons, let alone six. And add three more shows…will they all pick up new professions? Holly as teacher, Kendra as an orthodontist and Bridget as dog groomer? I doubt it.

The drama surrounding the Playboy Mansion and the Girls Next Door won’t stop! Now rumors are circulating that Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison had a tiff, and she is moving out. What will the world come to?!?

It seems that Kendra Wilkinson is on her way out the door. Supposedly because her and Holly didn’t get along. Now, it appears Holly has been getting cozy with magician Criss Angel…repeatedly in public. Hef turned Holly down for marriage and the pair have failed to have a baby too. Maybe Criss will step in and help?? Holly has been caught looking at real estate in the area too…why would she live somewhere else than with Hef?

And then there’s the European model that seems to have caught Hef’s eye, and that caused Holly to get mad and have a jealous fit. And poor ol Bridget? Well, she’s just old at 34!

Will there be three new girlfriends to replace the old ones in the next season of GND??

Every few months it seems the rumor of Hugh Hefner marrying Holly Madison comes about. This time, the rumor appears to have been started by one of the other girls in the mansion itself, Bridget Marquadt.

OK! Magazine claims they have an exclusive where there will be a huge wedding next season on The Girls Next Door. Bridget and Kendra will be moving out – which we’ve been hearing about Kendra moving on for months – and Holly and Hef will tie the knot.

Except there’s one little problem. Hugh isn’t divorced from his second wife. They separated back in the 1990s, but never officially divorced. It seems like a wedding to Holly Madison wouldn’t be so easy to pull off, unless it was fake for the reality show.

Rumor has it as reports by our friend, Hollyscoop that Hugh is falling for a Ukranian beauty with dark hair and naturally the girls (his three live-in blondes) aren’t having it.

Holly fears Hugh’s relationship with Dasha Astafieva because it might be a sign that she’s on her way out.

Hugh reportedly attends nude photoshoots with Dasha and they have even been seen holding hands.

Or perhaps Hugh doesn’t remember he was holding Holly’s hands last, you think? At 82, you have to give him this much, he’s pretty with it if he still knows what he’s doing. Hold on to your dreams…

“The Girls Next Door” were in New York City to be judges as “Playboy” conducted an open casting call in hopes of finding the 55th Anniversary Playmate.

Bridget told Paul that they like ”do things together,” things like watching tv, finding something fun and crazy to do. A lot of times, there are more than just the 3 live-in girlfriends with Hugh, they bring on their friends sometimes 7 of them! Mine oh mine, doesn’t that make you jealous. Hugh is afterall 82, no matter how much of a Playboy he was. Seriously though, I bet they are just watching TV till he passes out.. oops. That’s just my bet. Hefner keeps living his dreams, I say.

Hugh Hefner Suffers Back Pain From Having Too Much Sex

Hugh Hefner says he suffers constant lower back pains from spending too much time rustling in bed. Hefner, still living his Playboy dream, can never admit that he’s OLD, can he?

The 82-year-old Playboy mogul – who lives with three girlfriends at the infamous Playboy mansion in Los Angeles – is renowned for his womanising ways, but says his bedroom activities have caused him health problems.

He told FoxNews.com: “I have some aches and pains and I have had lower back problems since the 80s. Too much time in bed rustling around with friends!”

Supposedly the problems began when Hugh Hefner agreed Holly could try and have his baby. Of course she would! If he won’t marry her, have a baby so you can secure your future! Since he agreed to that, Holly thought she had more rein than she did, and wanted control of the magazine too. And she supposedly runs the household staff none too nicely…and Kendra isn’t having it says TMZ.

Holly did admit this week that they have tried everything, but she can’t get pregnant. Now she is looking for a sperm donor. Is this a sneaky way of saying she is looking for an out since Hef didn’t cave to her demands? What do you think is happening behind the scenes? Reps for their show Girls next Door say they have had no problems filming…so I guess we’ll have to wait until it airs…

Hefner, turned 82 in April. And his birthday celebration really doesn’t resemble anything of a 80ish elderly. The Playboy mogul received a series of chocolate body parts for his birthday, including a chocolate butt from his live-in girlfriends. Pamela Anderson performed a naked birthday dance for him.

Gentlemen, don’t you wish you are half as lucky as Hugh? Who says money can’t buy you everything? Perhaps not everything but fairly close to it, you think?

Girls Next Door On Playboy Cover Again

The Girls Next Door, Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget marquardt will be on the cover of the new Playboy magazine March issue. They are Hugh Hefner’s live-in girlfriends at least in the reality TV show. This is their third time graces the cover of Playboy.

It kinda happened by accident,” Hefner told The Associated Press. “It was not the original plan. I knew we were overdue for a cover featuring the girls. For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the Internet of who should be on the top of the list. Lo and behold, as the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list.”

Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson will be featured together in three different covers for the “25 Sexiest Celebrities” issue. In the newsstand edition cover image, out Feb. 8, the women are clad in glittery lingerie in front of a starry backdrop.

“To be perfectly frank, I have unexpectedly fallen in love,” Hefner said of his ongoing relationship with the three women. “It is the relationship with Holly that will probably last forever. The others will last for as long as they want it to last before going on with their careers and lives.”

Among the celebrities to make Playboy’s list are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Hefner said the top three online celebrity vote-getters were Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba, with “The Girls Next Door” coming in fourth place.
