Heath Ledger Wins Best Supporting Dramatic Actor for his role as the Joker in “The Dark Knight” at last night’s Golden Globes 2009. It was a rather touching and emotional moment. The Dark Knight’s director Christopher Nolan accepted Ledger’s award from presenter, Demi Moore. Nolan said he did so with “a mixture of sadness and incredible pride.”

Mickey Rourke takes home Best Actor Award at the Golden Globes 2009 last night for his role in The Wrestler. Definitely a big comeback for Rourke.  Mickey gave a pretty down-to-earth and thankful acceptance speech – highlighted by frequent use of the word “balls” as a compliment yet very thankful. Heath Ledger was nominated posthumously for his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight. The Golden Globe nominees for 2009 were announced yesterday and they were…their normal boring nods.  Nothing really unusual….
