Gwyneth Paltrow Defends Goop
Gwyneth Paltrow’s weekly newsletter GOOP has received some negative criticism. Gwyneth, however, disputes all the naysaying, insisting those who don’t like GOOP.com just don’t “get it.” A recent New York Times article addressed a lot of the negativity, adding the newsletter appears to be “fatuous and a bit puzzling.” What? They don’t think hoity toity spending habits and expensive organic cooking has a place in the recession?

Deciding the blog world wasn’t sophisticated enough, Gwyneth Paltrow’s offered up her newest baby to the masses—a lifestyle site with a name just as silly as all her other kids—GOOP. Yes, that’s right. GOOP.
What in God’s name does that stand for? Gwyneth’s Omniscient Oily Pretentiousness? Heh, I actually like that break down.
