Well, they deserve it. New parents are notoriously short on sleep, and if Beyonce and Jay-Z’s devotion to their destiny’s child, Blue Ivy Carter, are any indication, we’re guessing they’re staying up at night with their daughter themselves…

We don’t really blame them. If you’re reigning prince and princess of teen pop music, why let a paltry matter like a major awards show get in between your pre-Valentine’s Day date.

The 54th Grammy Awards was heavily criticized after it welcomed CHRIS BROWN back with open arms barely three years after his physical assault on ex-girlfriend RIHANNA.

If you will recall, Chris Brown busted up Rihanna‘s face on the eve of the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009, earning him domestic violence charges, five years’ probation, six months’ community service, suspension of his commercial ads and withdrawal of his music from radio stations. His scheduled performance at the 2009 Grammy Awards was canceled, as well. Now he’s back at the Grammys with a vengeance, and it seems the public doesn’t like it at all…
