A nude painting of Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie has failed sell at an auction in Scotland. The bizarre artwork, by Scottish painter Peter Howson, shows a grotesquely muscular Madonna laying naked on a bed, while a square-jawed Ritchie looks on.

It went under the hammer in Glasgow last Saturday on May 30, 2009 with an estimated sale price of $33,000 (£22,000) but it never made it past the reserve price of $22,000 (£15,000) as reports by Female First
Guy Ritchie’s latest pet name for Madonna is “It.” Madonna and Guy’s divorce became official in January and since the two separated in October, they haven’t been too nice to one another. While Madonna has paraded around with new men and won the custody battle to move the kids to New York City, Guy has been stewing in London and having to reshoot scenes of his newest flick Sherlock Holmes.
