Unlike many of the actresses who were almost all covered up in floor-length gowns and in long-sleeved dresses, Gwyneth picked out a rather semi-formal frock for her red carpet appearance at the 2012 Met Gala in New York.
Fashion icon GWYNETH PALTROW took the plunge in a revealing tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit at the Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party last week. And in a sea of cocktail dresses and semiformal gowns, the outfit definitely stood out.
Leave it to Gwyneth to break out of the status quo.
Two days before debuting her stunning white Tom Ford gown at the Academy Awards, Gwyneth attended the Women In Film Pre-Oscar event in a low-key Band of Outsiders FW12 black jumpsuit, which featured satin lapels and a plunging neckline.

While many other Oscar attendees arrived in attention-grabbing dresses and bright summery hues, Gwyneth chose to walk the red carpet in a safe one-shoulder white gown with a matching floor-length cape. The actress was spotted catching up with fellow best dressed Penelope Cruz on the carpet and later on presented the award for Best Documentary Feature (that went to “Undefeated”) alongside “Iron Man” co-star Robert Downey Jr.
