Halle Berry took some time off from her ex husband troubles and showed her feline side once again when she hit the red carpet in a leopard print and lace-trimmed Dolce & Gabbana dress and black peep-toe pumps at the 20120 Jesse Silver Rose Awards charity gala and auction at the Beverly Hills Hotel in CA where she was the chairperson and host.

The hot 45-year-old actress kept it simple her age-old messy short cut and her dress and cleavage getting all the attention. Halle adorned herself with studs earrings and her best accessory, her emerald engagement ring from her fiancee, Olivier Martinez, with whom she is set to appear in “Dark Tide.”

The Academy Award winning actress finished her look with dark eyeliner, an orange blush and nude matte lipstick.

Halle pretty much rocks every outfit but she could’ve gone in a more conservative outfit for the charity gala. Maybe a little more color would do wonders (at least for that noticeable tummy bump) on her.

As previously reported by star news, the Oscar-winning Halle Berry and her french love Olivier Martinez are planning to tie the knot and can’t wait to start a family. Mr. Halle Berry was proud to confirm this while promoting his new South Beach restaurant “Villa Azur.”

Olivier tells The Miami Herald:

“Yes, of course it’s true.”

Martinez, who co-starred with his soon-to-be wife, also confirms that he had apparently got down on one knee and presented Halle with not a Gurhan-designed ring but an emerald and yellow gold one by Robert Mazlo of Paris, whom Martinez called “a real artist” who has been making jewelry for “kings and queens for many countries.”

He clarified:

“There is a jeweler taking credit for doing the ring and it’s a lie! They have nothing to do with this.”

The Oscars without Halle Berry? Oh no.

We thought that the engaged superstar actress‘s—who was also an Academy Award winner for Best Actress in “Monster’s Ball” in 2001—fractured foot would be healed by now after she had injured herself a few months back while in Spain for the filming of her upcoming movie, “Cloud Atlas.” Looks like she had to catch some of the Oscar events on television instead.

People reports:

“[The accident occurred while] walking in Majorca on a day off from filming.”

Sadly, Halle has been spotted sporting crutches and a cast but not on the 84th Annual Academy Awards stage.

Looks like we’re just gonna have to wait for “Cloud Atlas” and wish that it was worth her absence at the Oscars.

Halle seems to be trying her best to make it extremely difficult for Gabriel to see their three-year-old daughter Nahla. The award-winning actress, who was once described as “controlling” by sources close to her model ex, is reportedly doing all she can to keep Nahla as far away from Aubry as possible… by filing papers with the court to request permission to move to France.

If approved, Halle and Nahla will move to France with Halle’s boyfriend, Olivier Martinez.

So how does Gabriel feel about all this? TMZ reports:

“Gabriel is livid because he believes the move is punitive and designed to strip him of any contact with his daughter… And Gabriel is particularly upset because Halle‘s longtime boyfriend Olivier Martinez will be living with Halle and Nahla if the move is approved.”

Let’s hope the third time’s the charm for twice-married Halle, whose last relationship (with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry) ended in insults and an awful custody battle for their 3-year-old daughter, Nahla.

Halle‘s French boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, reportedly popped the question over the holidays. He presented her wth a gorgeous, “one-of-a-kind” emerald and diamond engagement ring from Gurhan Jewelry.

A source tells Us Weekly:

“[Halle] had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper!”

Halle and Olivier met in 2010 on the set of “Dark Tide,” which is set to hit theaters in August.

Halley‘s doing a 70′s retro film “Cloud Atlas,” and while we’re really not surprised at her de-glamorized self dressed in togs from 40 years ago (she did ugly too in “Loosing Isaiah” and got nominated for a NAACP Image Award), we’re thinking maybe she’s too old to start doing action star at the ripe old age of 45.

However, entertainment news heard Halley broke her foot outside the set. It seems she tripped and fell on the property she’s been renting while filming in the country. Where’s she been staying? At one of the mouldering Moorish castles from the 15th century?

Like we’ve said, Halle is fit and all that, but she should consider being more careful now that she’s speeding on towards the bright side of 50. Bones get brittle with age, you know. And if anything happens, Gabriel Aubry will be getting custody of Nahla, and that’s not something that bears thinking about…

Halle’s got herself a creepy stalker! The actress, whose home was invaded last Saturday by an unknown intruder as reported by celebrity gossip websites, received another visit from the same guy a day after the incident.

According to TMZ, Halle was in her kitchen when she spotted the stranger standing outside her window… and he was just staring at her. The actress immediately called 911 and got a bunch of LAPD squad cars and a helicopter down to her home to apprehend the intruder, but again, the man managed to escape.

The cops believe that the guy is some crazy fan who is obsessed with Halle—and he probably is.

Halle received an unannounced visit from a stranger on Saturday, and it completely freaked her out (as it should). The actress was inside her home when she spotted a strange man lurking in her front yard. Halle immediately called the cops, while some of the people inside the house rushed out and tried to catch the intruder.

Sources connected to the LAPD tell TMZ that the man was able to escape before they arrived at the scene, but added that they are presently investigating the incident.

This is the second reported occurrence this month of an intruder lurking around a celebrity’s home. Paris Hilton encountered a similar episode just last week, although the guy could hardly be called a stranger since he was James Rainford, the hotel heiress’ longtime stalker.

What’s up with these creeps trying to get into other people’s homes?

Halle has been doing a lot of good work lately, but it is being overshadowed by her drama in the news.

Prince was there to award Berry the best actress and best independent movie titles according to USA Today. Her and Sophia Vergara posed together on the red carpet, “comparing notes on how to stay perfect.”

In an Emilio Pucci gown, Berry “was one of the most beautiful women on the red carpet who stole everyone’s heart,” StyleBistro explained. Her makeup, jewelry, and shoes all came together to compliment the dress.

The look was topped off with a pixie cut, which the actress is always sporting. It is adored by fans and really made the whole look work for her.

Thankfully, they’ve decided to bury the hatchet and work out a joint custody deal.

“It’s not exactly peace, but it’s not all-out war either, and that’s a development that’s good for everyone involved, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “I think Halle started realizing that things were getting out of control. It was just getting too nasty and too public.”

Gabriel – or so the gossip rags say – would like for Nahla to be considered white, and Halle disagrees. This morning, we’re greeted with a March Ebony cover where Halle says this:

“I feel like she’s black. I’m black and I’m her mother and I believe in the one-drop theory. I’m not going to put a label on it. I had to decide for myself and that’s what she’s going to have to decide – how she identifies herself in the world. And I think, largely, that will be based on how the world identifies her. That’s how I identified myself. But I feel like she’s black.”

Halle Berry, simply put, didn’t want someone like Kim Kardashian mixing and meshing with Nahla.

“Halle was very upset,. She was upset at the idea of someone like that being in her daughter’s life…She just didn’t want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star.”

Who can blame her really? Even though Aubry told a friend he had no intention of introducing his daughter to anyone until after he’d successfully dated someone for six months.

In addition to calling her the “N” word, he would also call her a “f**king b*tch” and other expletives as TMZ.com was told. The vulgarities are reportedly not limited to face-to-face confrontations, there are vulgar text messages as well.

One source told TMZ, “He constantly demeaned her. It was awful.”

We reported yesterday that Halle and Gabriel are engaged in a custody battle. Berry claims her daughter Nahla has been crying hysterically and throwing tantrums whenever Gabriel picks the toddler up for visits. That makes Halle convinced something bad is happening according to sources close to the situation.

Sigh! When it’s a bad break up, ultimately the kid suffers the most. Both Nahla’s parents have moved on, they are happily dating  other people already. I have to say, I would love to hear some stories from Gabriel’s side, not passing too much judgment to just one side of the story.

We hope they can find an amicable way to raise their adorable little toddler and other things between them don’t matter anymore, do they? It’s finito!

Berry‘s legal team says she doesn’t feel comfortable leaving her daughter in Aubry’s supervision and is ready to take “legal steps.” Aubry, on the flipside, questions Berry’s ability to parent and claims she’s just jealous he’s found comfort with other women (Kim Kardashian being one of them).

The two parties look like they’re more than ready to have a court decide the fate of Nahla. We’ll keep you posted!

Aubry and Berry were never married so it’s sticky trying to figure out visitation. Aubry was forced to sign a petition ensuring him rights, and the way Berry‘s handled it has his friends are convinced she’s got a screw lose.

“Basically whenever Gabriel doesn’t do exactly what Halle tells him to do, or if he does something she doesn’t approve of or like, she goes crazy on him, screaming and shouting,” the source says. “Contrary to public perception Halle has a particularly nasty temper, and she can be really controlling and vindictive. I’ve been with him when he’s gotten these insane calls from Halle — with her screaming at him and going crazy, when the poor guy hasn’t done anything!”

I wonder what exactly happened to split the couple up. This sounds like the actions of a woman scorned, honestly.

Supposedly, Berry doesn’t think Kim Kardashian is a good role model for her daughter, Nahla, and certainly doesn’t want her on any reality show.

“Halle is “worried” that Gabriel will talk about his relationship with her on camera. Halle is really private, and she doesn’t want her business — or her daughter — part of any Kardashian reality show. Halle has concerns that Nahla will be spending time “around a reality star who’s done porn.”

Personally, I think this is much ado about nothing. There’s no way Kim Karadashian and Gabriel Aubry will last.
