Natalie Portman is to star opposite Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal in ‘Brothers‘, the new film from Irish director Jim Sheridan. Variety reports that the drama is a remake of the multi award-winning Danish film ‘Brødre‘, which was directed by Susanne Bier.
It’s a story of a man (Maguire) who is sent to fight in Afghanistan while his misfit brother (Gyllenhaal) cares for his wife (Portman) and child.

Natalie Portman goes nude in Wes Anderson’s 13-minute short, The Hotel Chevalier, downloadable at iTunes. The film is a companion piece to Anderson’s forthcoming The Darjeeling Limited. In which Portman plays Jason Schwartzman’s lover. They are ex-lovers who meet in a Paris hotel room & make passionate love. Portman is covered with bruises in the film.
