The boyish-looking actor, more popularly known for playing opposite Julia Roberts in “Notting Hill”, and Renee Zellweger in “Bridget Jones’ Diary”, was described as “happy and supportive” about this recent event in his life, unexpected though it was.

“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,”

Grant‘s publicist announced in a statement.

“He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”

Grant’s baby girl was born early this October, and the actor supposedly learned about this just very recently.

“He’s not with the mum anymore but he’s absolutely thrilled.”

Good for Hugh Grant, an actor who’s gotten a reputation as a rogue, and was once arrested having sex with a prostitute along Sunset Boulevard, to finally discover life isn’t just about him anymore. As he was once quoted a few years ago:

“As much as I adore myself, I’m quite keen to find someone else to care about more.”

Hugh Grant flipped out on photographer!

(( Hugh Grant hurled a tub of baked beans at a photographer on Tuesday.

Hugh Grant was walking near his West London home at 10 a.m. and lashed out when a photographer asked if he could take his picture. Grant allegedly kicked him three times and kneed him near the groin.
Photographer Ian Whittaker, 43, said: “It looked like he had been out for a morning jog. I asked him if he would give me a smile because he was standing with his head down. But he must have been having a bad day because he started chasing me down the street.
“He gave me a couple of kicks in the legs and I think he kneed me.”
Whittaker described how the “Music and Lyrics” star then picked up a takeaway container full of beans and threw it at him.
The photographer also claimed 46-year-old Hugh – who recently split from his girlfriend Jemima Khan - launched into a tirade of abuse aimed at his children.
Whittaker said: “When I told him I had two children, he snarled, ‘I hope they die of f***ing cancer’. That really upset me and is why I went to the police to make a complaint of assault against him. He was out of order.”
Metropolitan police confirmed on Tuesday night that the incident had been reported and they were planning to question Hugh on the matter. ))

Hugh Grant & Jemima Khan been dating for about three years but Hugh had recently dodged questions about whether marriage was on the cards.

Barrymore looked absolutely stunning!

“Music & Lyrics” is romantic comedy.. figured! In it, Hugh plays a former 80s pop star challenged to pen a hit for an aspiring singer. While he can pen a tune, he suffers from writer’s block until he meets kooky lyricist Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore). In one scene, laughs are garnered from the fact that he mishears her lyrics, replacing them with totally different lines.
