The Sports Illustrated cover girl oozed sexy from every pore in a slinky silver and gold Emilio Pucci gown, which featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit.

She accessorized with sparkly silver earrings, a nude clutch, and black and gold strappy heels.

A neat ponytail and dewy makeup provided the finishing touches to Irina’s smoldering look.

Sorry, Lindsay Lohan, looks like this voluptuous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model won’t touch you with a ten-foot pole.

The 25-year-old fiancee of Portuguese footballer, Christiano Ronaldo, has been modeling since she was 19, but wouldn’t dream of taking her clothes off for the 58-year-old girlie magazine…

“I would never do Playboy. Yes, I am a lingerie model, but I have class.”

Irina told Esquire magazine in their February 2012 issue.

“Playboy offered me so much money last year. I was like: ‘No. Way.’”

Is Irina Shayk turning her nose up too soon at an opportunity other senior, more experienced and higher paid models  jumped at the chance to do?

“Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer did it,”

Irina acknowledged.

“But they did it at the end of their career and it was classy.”

Uh…aren’t Noami Campbell and Claudia Schiffer still working? And wasn’t Lindsay Lohan‘s Playboy shoot deemed “classy”, too?

“I think of myself as a cover girl. But I would never do some kind of cheesy magazine.”

Irina insisted.

Hmmm…do you think Irina Shayk is bound to eat her words in the near future when she might find herself raring to do a Playboy celebrity photo shoot for the money?

We’ll see, shall we?

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit latest edition will officially hit stands Tuesday but the magazine made an early announcement of its chosen cover girl on Monday.

While the official unveiling already took place on The Late Show With David Letterman, revealing the sexy cover featuring a sun-kissed Irina in her barely there pink and yellow bikini.

“There were 10 models there to do the Top 10 List, and nobody knows until the last minute who the cover will be,” Irina said. “And then I saw it, and I couldn’t believe it.”

How does the gorgeous model stay so gorgeous?

“I do work out five times a week, but I’m never dieting,” Shayk said. “I try to be healthy because to be happy and healthy on the inside shows on the outside.”

Irina is best known for her appearances in The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit but probably better known as Ronaldo’s hot model babe. Irina and the soccer ace have been dating since January. Although boyfriend was no show at the awards but he was there to meet her right after the event.

The gorgeous model has appeared in campaigns for many famous brand names including Armani Exchange, Victoria’s Secret and Guess.

Cristiano and Irina have been getting cozy on Ronaldo’s yacht in Italy recently. The question is whether this is just another fling for the young hot flamboyant soccer ace? Ronaldo has been linked to so many women including Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

Ronaldo who plays for the Spanish Real Madrid; the world’s highest paid soccer ace will be playing for his home country Portugal in the World Cup.

Do you think Portugal will win the World Cup? I think it’s a strong contender and with Ronaldo on the team, anything could happen.
