Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon may be getting closer to marriage. OK, maybe an engagement, since Reese supposedly hasn’t accepted the many offers Jake has already thrown on the table.  And why not?!? I mean, look at Jake.  How can any woman do wrong by him?

Jake Gyllenhaal finally proposed to Reese Witherspoon and she said “yes.” Star magazine is reporting that Reese showed up to shoot an Avon commercial everyone was marveling at the rock, but she quickly took it off once too many people noticed. Guess she didn’t want it getting out to the media. Too late!

Jake Gyllenhaal was entering a courthouse in Los Angeles today to see if he would be selected for jury duty. Jake must have been in a bad mood, because he ended up kicking a TMZ videographer who was following the actor. Or maybe he was embarrassed—Jake walked into a Pull only door that he thought was a Push. Woopsy!

Forget about being on the rocks – Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are stronger than ever.  There are reports coming from London that they are even house hunting together.  Does this mean they’ll cozy up permanently?
