Conan O’Brien May Get Fired
Conan O’Brien might be out of a job come March and it looks like good old Jay Leno is back on. As much as we absolutely adore the self deprecating musings of our favorite ginger, the ratings at NBC are telling a different story altogether. The writing is on the wall — Conan O’Brien is stinking up the 11:30 pm time slot. Oh, how the network misses what Jay Leno did for late night.

Glee writer disses NBC and Jay Leno. He penned the harsh words and shot down the two in one quick message. One funny, quick message. Would you expect anything less from a Glee writer though? What did he say?

OK…to recap. NBC banned the Glee cast from the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade because they are on rival FOX. When the Glee creator found out, he said this via Popeater:
Jay Leno has officially stepped down as Tonight Show host, with last night being his talk show host swan song. Jay Leno held the post for 17 years, and is officially passing the torch to Conan O’Brien, who paid his dues in the later spot for the past 16 years. Jay will resume his snarking with a new hour-long show in the 10 p.m. spot on NBC.

Jay Leno checked into a hospital with an undisclosed illness Thursday and canceled the taping of the “Tonight” show, but Leno was doing well and planned to return next week according to NBC. The 58 year old stand-up comedian and TV host of the primetime NBC talk show “The Tonight Show” will turn 59 next week on April 28th so hope Jay gets all better before his birthday!
