Jennifer Garner got defensive and upset when director Kevin Smith made a series of disparaging jokes about Garner’s husband, Ben Affleck. Jennifer and Kevin worked together on Catch and Release back in 2006, and didn’t share the same sense of humor.

Kevin Smith blew off steam by playfully jabbing Ben Affleck in front of Garner. She got so upset she threatened to kick his ass, he said. Smith via The New York Daily News said:

Well, it’s more like the paparazzi that follow Jennifer and Violet around have caused a stir amongst parents of other toddlers in the same school. They went to City Hall and complained about changing something for the safety of the kids.

Jennifer Garner says her daughter Violet is harassed by the paparazzi that follow them around every day. Jen is disgusted and scared by all the press her daughter receives and wishes the laws would protect her more. The photographers have made the daily trip to preschool an almost impossible task for them and other parents.
