Does this mean Ty finally took the doctor’s advice and cut down on his bare-back saddle bronc and bull riding activities to keep from strangulating his sensitive equipment too much? Apparently he did.

Hollywood gossip websites reports that a beautiful bouncing Kase Townes Murray was delivered into this world in Texas at 7pm today, tipping the scales at 7 pounds 6 ounces.

“We are overcome with happiness,”

Jewel gushed in her blog.

“It really is as great as everyone told us it would be–better even!”

Ok, Ty, you can continue going about your business to bag that 10th world championship buckle now…

Jewel got up and started to sing, when some guessed at her identity when the songs were absolutely too good!

Encouraged by her ‘co-workers’, Jewel’s alter-ego Karen nervously took to the stage to sing the star’s tracks – stunning onlookers who compared her to Susan Boyle.

She says, “I was a bit nervous to do this skit at first because I feared it would amount to little more than showing off some vocals, dressed as someone else. I was worried it wouldn’t be self-effacing enough.

“This did not require much, as the costume did most of the work for me. I love improv and this was a small chance to do that, luckily as someone else. I would love to do more of it in the future.”

I wonder what Funny or Die, who she filmed this for, will do with the footage. Will more stars head out undercover and try to sing their own songs?

She told the magazine:

“My feelings were so hurt by that story, I ended up bingeing on an entire cake. Afterward, I actually tried to throw it all up, but thankfully I couldn’t do it. It made me think, ‘I can’t go down this road.’ I had seen so many performers develop eating disorders or try to control their weight with drugs, and I decided I would do no harm to my body.”

Hmm — I wonder which grossed her out most, being called “chubby” or a “Renee Zellweger” doppelganger?

Jewel had not one, but TWO broken bones!  Doctors discovered this on her x-rays and said she had to quit.  This is what Jewel says in her blog:

Well, as many of you know I have been having trouble with my knees after rehearsing long hours for Dancing With The Stars. The doctors thought I had tendonitis, but when I wasn’t feeling better after some rest, I decided to get an MRI. When I heard the results I was in utter disbelief. The doctors told me that not one, but both of my legs were fractured!! He said my left one was particularly bad, and that I had to not only stop dancing, but stop walking and use crutches!!! He said I had just over done it with the rehearsals and training over the past few weeks and so my muscles became fatigued and transferred the overload of stress to the bones in my leg – causing the stress fractures!

Ouch!  And Nancy tore her meniscus and needs surgery now to repair it.  Double ouch.  So, Jewel and Nancy out, Holly and ??? in.  Who do you think the second replacement will be?

The pair have been together for ten years, so I guess maybe you don’t need an engagement?  They flew off to the Bahamas and said “I Do” before friends and family in a short, but traditional ceremony.  Last year she told People Magazine that she and Ty weren’t in a hurry to run down the aisle.  Maybe if they had kids, but they didn’t know if they wanted kids yet.

So, that begs the question – is she pregnant?
