John Mayer blogged about Barack Obama on Huffingtopost.com yesterday. Of course, this is barely a shock. We all know about John Mayer’s love affair with blogging. It almost broke up his last relationship for Goddsakes.

In the essay he talks about being a young adult in a post 9-11 world and how Barack Obama represents a kind of “tangible” hope that hasn’t been seen by his generation. The post actually isn’t half bad. John can string a sentence together, and I admire this sort of activism more than I do the flashy, tacky antics of bobbleheads like Paris Hilton and Speidi.
