Bon Jovi had to call in a shrink to get the band back together in the 1990s. The always smiling Jon Bon Jovi had to call the professionals in order for the group to get back together and perform. Without the shrink, they probably never would have.

Mariah Carey wanted to sit by Michelle Obama at President Obama’s inauguration on Tuesday. Ha!  Actually, she didn’t want to, she thought she actually was going to sit next to the Obama family.  That takes nerve!  Guess what she did next!

Mariah did perform at the Neighborhood ball for the Obama’s, but not the inauguration itself.  That was reserved for the Queen Diva, Aretha Franklin.  From the New York Post:

Cheryl Crow is on the docket to perform tonight as well as Jennifer Hudson.  It was widely rumored by Rocky Mountain News that Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band would be performing before and after Obama’s acceptance speech.  Except Springsteen’s camp issued the following statement:

Mariah Carey at VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Gala in Lincoln Center on September 20, 2007 in New York City. The Save the Music Foundation, which donates instruments to public schools and helps fund music education programs, honored Carey.

Mariah Carey said it only made sense to work for the Save the Music Foundation because music saved her.
