Just hours after Jordin sang as tribute to the late Whitney at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last Sunday, their collaborative track off their “Sparkle” movie soundtrack, “Celebrate,” had been released.

Their upcoming film, which focuses on a mother and her three singing children a la “The Supremes,” still has more than two months before its release on August 17… Maybe the heartwarming and nostalgic performance from Jordin softened the heart of the producers, which was why the track was released seemingly ahead of time?

Well, bless their hearts! Finally, something new and fresh to remember the late singer by.

Jordin looked gorgeous in her cleavage-baring dress on the red carpet and on stage as she sang Whitney Houston‘s 1992 Billboard chart-topper, “I Will Always Love You,” which brought the crowd and Whitney‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina to tears.

The “American Idol” winner looked modern and classy in her cleavage-baring dress with a flowing blue velvet skirt and and boxy black leather bustier that showed off her fit torso. The sexy songstress paired her dress with black-and-silver stilettos and accessorized with silver and gemstone jewelry.

Jordin finished off her look with an intricate half-pony and glossy nude lips.

The R&B star, who fractured his neck earlier this month while practicing some acrobatic moves for his tour, tells PEOPLE that he is slowly getting better—with the help of Jordin Sparks, whom he’s been dating since last year. Derulo shares:

“I’m taking it one day at a time… It’s been really eye opening. It’s given me a chance to look at everything and realize how blessed I truly am.”

Another blessing in his life? His girlfriend, Jordin. The singer admits:

“We are together… She lives in Phoenix and she comes [to Miami] and takes care of me, brings me breakfast in bed and she’ll go on walks with me.”

He adds:

“We’ve gotten closer because of my accident. It’s awesome to have someone you can talk to and she’s a wonderful person.”

And as for what he’s doing while he’s recovering, Jason reveals that he’s working on a new album. He shares:

“I’m going to make another album while I’m down… We’ll see what comes out of that. I don’t know what it’s called yet, but it’s really inspired.”

Jordin managed to exude perfection while keeping it simple. The R&B songstress walked the red carpet in an off-shoulder Kevan Hall jersey dress, which hugged her every curve without making her look like she’s trying too hard to look sexy.

Nude peep toe pumps and diamond drop earrings completed the outfit.

Jordin’s hair and makeup was flawless, too. She donned a ponytail to highlight her exposed neck and shoulders and enhanced her features with glossy lips, soft brown eye makeup, and lush lashes.

Guess we now have a new R&B golden couple!

Jordin and Jason were spotted together at Jason’s 22^nd birthday celebration at the Philippe Chow restaurant in Hollywood—they reportedly arrived together and were very sweet throughout the entire night. An eyewitness reveals:

“Jordin would sing to him occasionally through the night in his ear if her head was rested on his shoulder. It was Jason‘s only night in L.A. and the pair were excited to reunite.”

Jason’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly that the “In My Head” singer has been dating the “American Idol” winner since August. It reportedly started when they did a show together in the Bahamas. A source close to the couple adds:

“[Jason saw Jordin] in a whole new light in the Bahamas. She lost over 30 pounds and looks amazing — and he told her. It started there and they have been really reconnecting, now as lovers and not just friends.”

A few months ago, Jason was rumored to be dating his “It Girl” music video co-star and “Gossip Girl” actress Tika Sumpter who, coincidentally, has just joined the cast of the 2012 “Sparkle” remake, which also stars Jordin.

Jordin was all sparkle when she attended the Labor Day Weekend party at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The newly svelte singer wore a skintight halter minidress covered in silver sequins, which had patches of sheer shimmery fabric on the stomach area and around the bottom part of her skirt. She paired the sexy silver number with silver high heels, some seriously sparkly cocktail rings, and a cute ponytail.

It’s safe to say that Jordin’s fashion choice was able to successfully define her gorgeous physique—she should definitely wear dresses like that more often!

She’s always been beautiful, even before the weight loss, but we have to admit that Jordin looks absolutely wonderful in her colorful two-piece suit. She tweeted:

“I don’t know why but my bathing suit reminds me of fruity pebbles. :)”

Jordin reportedly lost about 30 pounds, which now makes her one of the many celebrities who have recently undergone dramatic weight loss.

American Idol Archive

The “American Idol” voters decided that the way Jordin Sparks sings is way beyond compare. For that reason, the teen queen was crowned as the sixth “Idol” champion on Wednesday.

Jordin’s triumph didn’t surprise anyone. She was clearly better than Blake Lewis in the finale, with a big assist going to songwriters Jeff Peabody and Scott Krippayne.

The duo wrote “This is My Now,” which won a contest to become the first single for the season-six winner. Each finalist closed with their version of it last night. Jordin’s sounded something like a hit record while Blake’s, well, did not.
