Julia Stiles denies that she wrecked Michael C. Hall’s marriage to Jennifer Carpenter. In a situation that just reeks of “awkward” Dexter co-stars Hall and Carpenter met on set and later married. Julia Stiles was then cast as Hall’s lover and – bam – his marriage crumbles. Everyone assumed (and some inside sources confirmed) that Julia Stiles was the reason.
Not so, she says.
The latest news from the Dexter divorce of Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter is that Hall was secretly romancing Julia Stiles on set. Stiles co-starred on the Showtime series as his love interest. Hm. Are we seeing a pattern here? Carpenter was/is his sister and Stiles is his onscreen lady – guess he doesn’t have to leave work to find an offscreen date, eh?
A source close to the TV cast said via a blind item the other day:
Julia Roberts is not happy with her pal Julia Stiles. Both Julia’s have worked together in the past and have gotten to be friends. That is, were friends until Stiles latest stunt ticked Roberts off.
