Designer KARL LAGERFELD apologized to ADELE for making that “fat” remark about her earlier this week. It looks like the German-born creative director for Chanel is eating humble pie for his tactless, tasteless comment.
Lagerfeld was presumably convinced to make amends for calling the English singer “a little bit too fat” when the huge backlash that followed his observation threatened to become a media brouhaha over weight inequality and distorted body image, particularly – of Lagerfeld‘s, who used to be a heavyweight himself…
ADELE responded to KARL LAGERFELD‘s “fat” comments by taking the high road and telling the whole world she’s proud of the way she looks.
While many women would consider being called “overweight” as the ultimate insult, and immediately start crash dieting and compulsive exercising to show up their detractors, the Grammy-nominated English singer says she’s really comfortable with her size and shape…

Chanel’s head designer and creative director isn’t exactly known for holding back his words, and while he pronounced Adele’s voice divine, he thinks she’s just too tubby for him to totally become a fan. Maybe Karl Lagerfeld quite forgot he used to be 90 lbs. overweight prior to 2001…

Heidi Klum was Page Six the magazine’s cover girl and talked about her famous Karl Lagerfeld feud. For those who don’t remember, Karl very famously sniped that Heidi was too fat to walk on the cat walk and didn’t even know who she was. Of course, anyone with half a brain cell knew that was a bunch of bologna. What designer, nay human, hasn’t heard of Heidi Klum?
