Kate, who recently split from ‘True Blood’ hottie Alexander Skarsgard, stepped out yesterday with some friends to go see a Coldplay concert—seems normal enough after a breakup, right? However, celebrity gossip websites couldn’t help but notice that the lower half of her blonde hair was a bright shade of… turquoise! Yes, turquoise!

A color like that would be normal for singers like Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, and Lady Gaga—who did wear her hair turquoise for a while a few months ago—but a serious actress like Kate? It doesn’t really suit her.

We know that girls often tend to change their hair after a breakup, but Kate’s turquoise-dipped strands are just a tad bit weird.

“It was very mutual,” a source tells the new issue of Us “And it happened a while ago.”

According to Hollywood gossip news, during a July 21 Film District bash at Comic-Con in San Diego, Skarsgard, 34, flirted with a brunette and left the party with her.

“He’s single,” confirms a source, “and he is loving the attention!”

Oh well, guess it was not meant to be. I did think they made a very hot couple though. Who do you think Kate and Alexander should date next?

Orland was riding around on a Ducati motorcycle in Brentwood, California on Thursday when he bumped into (not literally, of course) ex-girlfriend Kate, who immediately came up to him and gave him a big hug. An onlooker tells Us Weekly:

“They looked cordial… They were genuinely smiling to one another like friends, but didn’t linger very long.”

The former couple dated for about four years before breaking up in 2006. Orlando is now married to supermodel Miranda Kerr, whom he married in July 2010. The newlyweds now have a baby together, as reported earlier this year by celebrity gossip websites.

Meanwhile Kate is said to be dating ‘True Blood’ actor Alexander Skarsgard.

Yes, sure, this seems very shallow, but E! Ted Casablancas seems convinced that Alexander and Kate will be history soon because she can’t seem to score a starring role.

“You know what happens in Hollywood when one star leaves another behind…They break up. Which, unfortunately for you Skarsgård-devotees, has not happened yet with this odd duo.Let’s look at Hollywood history. Remember how Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin split suddenly after Mila became an A-list It Girl? Or what about Jessica Simpson? The gal conveniently divorced Nick Lachey right when her career lit up.

Bottom line? Hollywood has a mini-caste system and celebs rarely date outside of their elite circle.”

But then again how many times have we not heard celebrities fall in love or lust on the set? Namely LeAnn Rime and Eddie Cibrian, Kate Beckinsale and her director hubby, Len Wiseman, young Taylor Lautner and his co-star Lily Collins, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Oh mine.. I say watch it Alex.

Then again I think Alex is so much hotter than Justin, just personal opinion ha so perhaps it won’t faze the True Blood hottie that someone else is smooching his gal!

Why do stars always try that? No matter how much they don’t like the cameras, they have a right to be there and then they end up getting photographed going after the camera people! According to US Weekly:

Pacific Coast News reports the 33-year-old actor was photographed being held back by a police officer, fists clenched, after he became angered by a paparazzo taking shots of Skarsgard and rumored girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

Is it really a secret they are together? It’s been since October that those rumors started, so I think the cat is out of the bag by now Alex! What do you think Alex was mad about?

While Star magazine has this as a top item for tomorrow’s issue, it was Lainey Gossip that got the real insider scoop.

“I received calls about it on Saturday from other magazines. Chris and Kate were supposedly kissing in the open at a U2 show in Vegas two weeks ago in plain view. Which means that there was more than one witness. And each witness went to a tabloid. And each tabloid was scrambling to source it. And Star Magazine beat everyone else to the punch.”

Alexander was most recently rumored to be dating Evan Rachel Wood, who also stars in True Blood this season.

A source tells RadarOnline via Hollyscoop, “The couple was very affectionate, holding hands as Alexander played with Kate’s hair while they chatted with friends in the green room.”
“Kate and Alexander hugged a few times and were often spotted whispering to each other. As Alexander left the green room to go on stage gave Kate playfully slapped him on his butt a few times and said “’Go, go, go.’”

Bosworth has always been interested in a professional career as a competitive horse racer and she was a teen champion at the age of 14. Kate‘s first film, The Horse Whisperer; the film’s producers wanted someone who was an experienced horse rider leading to Bosworth‘s successful audition for the role.

Kate was accepted into Princeton University in late 2000 but her acceptance was later revoked due to continual deferral of her attendance.

Kate is more than just a beautiful actress, she’s got substance.
